Abstract

This research aims to determine the standards of understanding and competence of journalists in increasing the capacity and professionalism of journalists, especially the category of young journalists. Currently, through Press Council decision Number 01/Peraturan-DP/X/2018 concerning Journalist Competency Standards, journalists are required to continue to improve their knowledge, skills and quality of work. All journalists are expected to undergo the journalist competency test (UKW) process in a tiered manner starting from the young, middle and main journalist categories. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, data collection methods are observational studies, interviews, documentation and data analysis techniques. The results of the research show that journalists who are members of PWI are required to take part in UKW in stages. UKW which has been held by PWI Central Sulawesi has been held since 2014. Journalists who have taken part in UKW have increasingly better quality, especially regarding the credibility, capacity and reputation of PWI journalists. However, it turns out that stakeholders have not fully implemented or seen journalists who were invited to an activity based on the competency of the UKW results.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in community participation in the 2020 election in Central Sulawesi and find out the factors that influence the increase in community participation in the 2020 election. This research is also to find out how community participation in the 2020 election in Central Sulawesi is and what factors influence it. influencing increased public participation in the 2020 election. The method used in this research is mixed methods (combination method), which combines quantitative methods and qualitative methods to be used together in this research activity so that comprehensive, valid, reliable, and objective data is obtained. This year's regional head elections are very different from previous regional elections because this is the first time regional head elections have been held in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. With regard to the simultaneous regional elections in 2020, which also coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is also swiftly and precisely thinking about and anticipating that these regional elections must still be carried out. The simultaneous regional head elections will be held in 2020. With the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be less than optimal, and it is feared that it will limit the performance of the Pilkada implementers, which could also have an impact on the implementation of the Pilkada itself. The potential for regional election fraud to occur during the pandemic is very large.

Abstract

Knowing the existence of women through in-depth studies and taking from various references, then publishing it is believed that it can produce a broader understanding for equal human development. This article is written with the aim of revealing the existence of Kaili Women in the existing scientific literature until 2024. By knowing scientific writings that focus on discussing the relationship between Kaili women and the soil, it can provide data in an effort to improve the use of more humane humans. The data collection method used literature studies, reference searches were carried out on google scholar, with the keyword 'women kaili, land'. The two words are the focus that will be developed in further research that will be analyzed in more detail. The results of the study found five writings about Kaili women, and three writings that reveal the relationship between Kaili women and the land as a natural environment that forms a social environment. This column about Kaili women will be the primary data in a more in-depth search of the position of Kaili women in a broader study.

Abstract

Rumah tangga nelayan tradisional menghadapi kerentanan ekonomi akibat ketidakpastian hasil tangkapan, faktor musim, serta relasi pasar yang tidak seimbang. Dalam kondisi tersebut, keluarga mengembangkan strategi adaptif dengan melibatkan isteri dalam aktivitas produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peranan isteri nelayan dalam menopang ekonomi keluarga serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat keterlibatan mereka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan kuesioner pendukung di Kelurahan Sidoarjo, Kecamatan Baolan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isteri nelayan menjalankan peran ganda, yaitu peran domestik sekaligus produktif melalui kegiatan penjemuran/pengolahan ikan, penjualan ikan, dan usaha perdagangan kecil di sekitar pelabuhan. Motivasi utama adalah membantu suami dan memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi rumah tangga. Faktor pendukung meliputi lokasi strategis, akses transportasi, dukungan suami, kerja sama antarkelompok perempuan, dan keterlibatan instansi; sedangkan hambatan utama berupa ketergantungan pada tengkulak, ketiadaan koperasi, dan keterbatasan modal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keterlibatan ekonomi perempuan merupakan strategi adaptasi keluarga nelayan dalam menjaga keberlangsungan hidup.
