Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and supported by the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance. This programe is part of the teaching at schools specially to help students in ellmentary school to assist learning during a pandemic in the 3 areas, whisc is Disadvantaged, Frontier, Outermost by presenting college students as part of strengthening literacy and numeracy. They become a teacher partner in carrying out creativity and innovation in learning. This activity started on 02 August 2022 to 05 December 2022 with the target school SD Negeri 105357 Cemara, Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang Regency. Based on the results of the initial mapping, information was obtained that some students could not read and count properly and correctly and had low interest in reading. In addition, the development of soft skills is also needed in the school. Through this activity it is hoped that the school, especially students, can be assisted in terms of increasing numeracy literacy, technology adaptation and administration.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan yaitu untuk meningkatkan kosa kata bahasa inggris melalui media English Vocabullary Card. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analiysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 105273 Helvetia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji validasi materi mendapatkan skor 69 dengan persentase 92%, uji validasi media mendapatkan skor 61 dengan persentase 87% dan rata-rata validasi materi dan media adalah 89,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil kepraktisan mendapat skor 94 dengan persentase 94% dan respon peserta didik siswa kelas V SD Negeri 105273 Helvetia yaitu 90%, sehingga rata-rata praktisi dari guru dan siswa adalah 92% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan untuk efektifitas dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa sebelum dilakukan uji coba produk dengan rata-rata 44 dan setelah dilakukan uji coba produk menggunakan post-test dengan rata-rata 92 hal tersebut mengalami peningkatan sebesar 48%. Maka dapat disimpulkan media english vocabulary card berbasis canva untuk meningkatkan kosakata bahasa inggris di kelas V SD Negeri 105273 Helvetia sangat layak, sangat praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran kelas V SD.
