Abstract

MSMEs are supporting the nation's economy, however, some MSME actors still experience various difficulties in running a business. One of them is the difficulty in the field of marketing, in the current era of social media marketing development, several micro, small and medium enterprises, especially in the Majalaya sub-district, are facing difficulties keeping up with the times in terms of product marketing. From the survey that has been conducted, MSME actors in the Majalaya sub-district admit that they have difficulties in marketing their products and developing markets. This is due to the product's lack of awareness of the branding of MSME products where MSME actors do not highlight the identity and superiority of the products offered, thus reducing the interest of potential consumers to buy these products. As a solution to the problem above,mConduct dedication in the form of education and training regarding product branding in social media marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing communication and price on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. And to analyze which variable has a more dominant influence on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. This research was conducted in Makassar city with a sample size of 383 respondents. The data analysis used is descriptive to explain the research data. Meanwhile, to analyze quantitative data, multiple linear regression analysis was used with the SPSS version 27 program. The results showed that marketing communication and price simultaneously influenced purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar, with a coefficient of determination R square of 83.2%, and the remaining 16.8% was influenced by other variables outside this study. Partially, the marketing communication and price variables have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. This study also shows that the price variable is the most dominant factor in influencing purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar with a t-value of 23.553> t-table 1.966.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the framing of news coverage by Tribun-Timur.com and TribunJabar.id and the aspects highlighted regarding the match between PSM Makassar and Persib Bandung at the opening of the 2024 President's Cup tournament. The subjects of the research are the news portals Tribun-Timur.com and TribunJabar.id. Data collection was conducted through library research and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis employing the framing theory of Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, focusing on four analytical structures: syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The research results concluded that Tribun-Timur.com and TribunJabar.id framed the news of the match between PSM Makassar and Persib Bandung at the opening of the 2024 President's Cup tournament with a tendency to take sides with their respective local teams and readers. Tribun-Timur.com framed PSM Makassar's defeat as a learning and evaluation material. Tribun-Timur.com highlights the performance of the PSM Makassar team as an away team. Meanwhile, TribunJabar.id frames Persib Bandung's victory by building optimism. TribunJabar.id framed the match with a primary focus on the victory of Persib Bandung.
