Abstract

Latar Belakang: Persentase pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) eksklusif pada bayi usia kurang dari 6 bulan di Kalimantan Tengah di tahun 2021 hanya 55,98%. Data Kabupaten Gunung Mas pada tahun 2021, cakupan ASI ekslusif hanya mencapai 16,3%. Begitu pula pada Puskesmas Tumbang Lapan, pada tahun 2020 cakupan ASI ekslusif berada di angka 37,12% dan menurun pada tahun 2021 menjadi 19,0%. Tujuan: Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ibu menyusui dalam upaya pemberian ASI ekslusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tumbang Lapan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional dan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden dengan tingkat pendidikan rendah ada 19 orang (63,3%), tidak bekerja 18 orang (60%), mendapat dukungan dari suami ada 16 orang (53,3%) dan responden tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif sebanyak 16 orang (53,3%). Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan tingkat pendidikan didapatkan p_value 0,011, pekerjaan p_value 0,021, dan dukungan suami p_value 0,026 ada pengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif. Simpulan: Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ibu menyusui dalam upaya pemberian ASI ekslusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tumbang Lapan adalah tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan ibu dan dukungan suami.

Abstract

This study examines the role of reward and punishment in improving student discipline and religious commitment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMAN 1 Bantan, Bengkalis. The research investigates how the implementation of these strategies affects students' academic and moral development in the context of Islamic education. The study aims to analyze the types of rewards and punishments applied, their effectiveness in improving discipline, and their contribution to forming religious commitment. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with purposive sampling involving PAI teachers, the vice principal, and 10–15 students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Interviews explored participants’ experiences, observations focused on classroom behavior, and documents were reviewed to understand policy implementation. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana’s interactive model: data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that material and symbolic rewards enhance motivation and positive behavior, while constructive punishments reinforce discipline. The integration of spiritual and moral values makes Islamic education distinct from conventional behaviorist approaches. Overall, the effective use of rewards and punishments strengthens student discipline and religious commitment, contributing to holistic character development. The study recommends further longitudinal and comparative research to examine long-term impacts on students’ academic and spiritual growth.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss a comparison of metaphysical concepts between Imam Al-Ghazali and Seyyed Hossein Nasr, two great thinkers in the Islamic philosophical tradition who made significant contributions to understanding the nature of reality and the relationship between God and the universe. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research library approach. The results of the analysis show that Imam Al-Ghazali, in his works such as Tahafut al-Falasifah, criticized the rationalism of Greek philosophers and emphasized the limitations of human reason in understanding God, while proposing the concept of the world as God's creation which is continuously renewed by His will. In contrast, Seyyed Hossein Nasr developed a metaphysical approach that combines elements of Islamic mysticism and perennialist philosophy, viewing the universe as a manifestation of the infinite reality of God and emphasizing the unity between science and spirituality. Both figures agree that metaphysical pursuits must involve deep spiritual understanding, although their methods and approaches differ
