Abstract

Salah satu metode Syar’i untuk mengangkat kepala negara adalah bai’at. Adapun pelaksanaan bai’at ini, tergambar dalam rincian-rincian praktek bai’at. Yaitu agar muslim saling berdiskusi tentang orang yang layak untuk memegang jabatan khilafah. Sehingga apabila mereka telah menetapkan pendapat pada beberapa orang tertentu (sebagai talon Khalifah), lalu calon-calon khalifah itu diajukan kepada kaum muslim. Siapa yang terpilih diantara mereka, maka umat diminta untuk membai’atnya. Hukum syara’ tentang pelaksanaan pengangkatan kepala negara dalam negara Islam adalah kandidat khalifah dibatasi oleh kaum muslim yang menjadi anggota majelis syura. karena majelis inilah yang menjadi representasi mayoritas kaum muslim. Kemudian nama-nama kandidat khalifah diajukan kepada kaum muslim. Yaitu agar mereka memilih satu orang dari kandidat itu sebagai khalifah bagi mereka. Selanjutnya dilihat siapa yang memperoleh suara paling banyak. Kemudian diambil bai’at untuk kandidat dengan suara terbanyak itu dari kaum muslim yang memilihnya maupun dari kaum muslim yang tidak memilihnya

Abstract

Seringkali terdengar di kalangan muslim, orang yang membedakan antara kesalehan Individu dan kesalehan sosial. Seolah-olah dalam Islam ada dua macam kesalehan; kesalehan individu dan kesalehan sosial. Itulah sebabnya, kenapa kesalehan tersebut tidak terukur seperti ibadah lainnya, dan terkadang tak jarang, menyebabkan perbedaan dalam memahami kesalehan tersebut. Paling tidak dalam pengertian Kesalehan Individu dimaksud adalah kesalehan yang hanya mementingkan ibadah semata yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan dan kepentingan diri sendiri, sementara kesalehan sosial dipahami sebagai kesalehan yang menunjukkan pada prilaku orang yang peduli dengan dengan nilai-nilai Islami, yang bersifat sosial. Maka yang terpenting sekarang adalah menjadikan satu Ibadah tidak hanya bernilai kesalehan indiviui tapi sekaligus bernilai kesalehan sosial. Sehingga ibadah itu tidak terdikhotami antara individu dan sosial

Abstract

The dichotomy of education in Indonesia is a problem that requires immediate attention. This study uses qualitative methods through literature studies and observations to investigate the influence of the dualism of the education system on Islamic education. This dualism has the potential to cause a significant split between Islamic religious education and national education. To overcome this contradiction, the integration of Islamic education into the national education system is an urgent solution. Scholars emphasize the importance of combining the two education systems to prevent further splits. One proposed approach is the development of a third system that combines the positive aspects of traditional and modern education. This integration is expected to create a more holistic and inclusive education system, in accordance with the needs of contemporary society. This study highlights the importance of resolving the dualism of education to improve the quality of education and social harmony in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of integration-interconnection in the context of the increasing popularity of Islamic boarding schools and the marginalization of public schools in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools, which are increasingly in demand as religious-based education, are faced with public schools that face the challenge of relevance amidst global competition. The main problem of this study is the tension between the two educational systems and the potential of the concept of integration-interconnection to create harmonious synergy. Library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected from various literatures, such as books, scientific journals, and policy documents, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. This study identifies challenges, opportunities, and solutions in implementing integration-interconnection. The results of the study indicate that integration-interconnection can be a strategic solution to address educational challenges in Indonesia. The main findings include the need for curriculum renewal, improving the competence of teaching staff, and changing the paradigm of society to accommodate the synergy between Islamic values ​​and modern science. In conclusion, integration-interconnection is not just a theoretical concept, but a strategic need to create inclusive education that is relevant to global challenges and oriented towards the harmony of religious values ​​and modernity.

Abstract

This study examines the role of reward and punishment in improving student discipline and religious commitment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMAN 1 Bantan, Bengkalis. The research investigates how the implementation of these strategies affects students' academic and moral development in the context of Islamic education. The study aims to analyze the types of rewards and punishments applied, their effectiveness in improving discipline, and their contribution to forming religious commitment. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with purposive sampling involving PAI teachers, the vice principal, and 10–15 students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Interviews explored participants’ experiences, observations focused on classroom behavior, and documents were reviewed to understand policy implementation. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana’s interactive model: data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that material and symbolic rewards enhance motivation and positive behavior, while constructive punishments reinforce discipline. The integration of spiritual and moral values makes Islamic education distinct from conventional behaviorist approaches. Overall, the effective use of rewards and punishments strengthens student discipline and religious commitment, contributing to holistic character development. The study recommends further longitudinal and comparative research to examine long-term impacts on students’ academic and spiritual growth.
