Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between disciplinary habituation and religious character, the relationship between religious habituation and religious character, and disciplinary habituation and religious habituation with religious character among high school students. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlation approach, the data source was taken using a questionnaire with a four-point Likert scale of three hundred and one respondents from a total of one thousand two hundred and twenty populations were selected using simple random sampling techniques. All data is analyzed using techniques of validation and reliability, normality, and linearity, as well as bivariate and multivariate correlation using SPPS Version 20 software. Overall the research results show that; first There is a significant positive correlation at a strong level between discipline habits and students' religious character. Second, there is a significant positive correlation at a strong level between religious habituation and students' religious character. Third, there is a significant positive correlation at a strong level between disciplinary habits and religious habits with religious character. The results of this research have proven that discipline and religious habituation are very helpful in improving students' religious character in pursuing education. These two aspects need to be the focus and attention of all groups, especially the academic community, school community, and parents.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the correlation between discipline and religious character of MAN students within Kampar Regency. This research was carried out with quantitative-correlational approach. The population were all students of MAN 1 Kampar amounted 633 students, all students of MAN 2 Kampar amounted 212 students, and all students of MAN 4 Kampar amounted 232 students with total populations were 1077 students and the samples were 531 students. The sampling technique was by using simple random sampling. The technique of data collection was by using questionnaire. The data analysis technique used pre-requisite questionnaire test instrument: validity and reliability test, correlation test: normality test and linearity test, and research hypothesis test: bivariate correlation test. The results of this research: there was positive and significant correlation between discipline behavior with religious character. Obtained the value of sig. (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,050 which meant Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. With R value = 0,551 pearson correlation in correlation degree which meant it was in medium level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk membahas tentang pendidikan akhlak menurut Imam Al-Ghazali. Jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian kepustakaan (library research), bercorak historis faktual mengenai pemikiran tokoh. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data yang tertulis di dalam buku, jurnal dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang masih berkaitan. Lalu peneliti berusaha menelaah dan menganalisis pola pemikiran Muhammad Al-Gazhali pada pendidikan Islam. Temuan dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali terkait pendidikan islam terdiri dari a) Konsep Dasar Pendidikan Akhlak terdiri dari definisi: pendidikan akhlak menurut Imam Al-Ghazali adalah usaha pendidik untuk menanamkan sikap terpuji dalam diri peserta didik sehingga mengakar dalam jiwa peserta didik yang darinya lahir berbagai perbuatan baik dan terpuji dengan otomatis, tanpa perlu pemikiran dan pertimbangan serta menghilangkan sikap buruk hingga menjadi insan kamil yang dekat kepada Allah dan mencapai kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat. Lalu prinsip-prinsip pendidikan akhlak: al-hikmah, al-adl, syaja’ah, & ‘iffah. Adab guru & peserta didik. b) Pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali terkait pendidikan akhlak terdiri dari penanaman nilai akhlak dalam kitab Minhajul Abidin: Adanya pendidik, menanamkan iman, memberikan pengarahan, muhasabah, bisa membedakan yang baik dan buruk, lingkungan yang mendukung. Metode pendidikan akhlak: Pembiasaan, keteladanan, nasihat, hukuman & ganjaran. Konsep guru PAI yang ideal: Guru berorientasi pada kebahagiaan di akhirat, taat beribadah, membersihkan jiwa, cerdas & cakap, mencintai peserta didik, memberi arahan peserta didik untuk meluruskan niat, beribadah, menimba ilmu. dan konsep pendidikan akhlak: non formal dan formal. Konsep akhlak yaitu: akhlak terhadap Allah, akhlak terhadap orang tua, akhlak kepada diri sendiri, dan akhlak kepada orang lain.
