Abstract

Program pijat bayi dan anak memegang peranan penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan dan kehidupan jangka Panjang. Kenyataannya, pijat bayi dan anak berpengaruh untuk tumbuh kembang anak usia dini, tentunya berbeda dengan pijat orang dewasa. Tujuannya meningkatkan kesehatan bayi dan anak yang akhirnya sebagai generasi penerus bangsa. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Posyandu Desa Kuala Gading yang berada di Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau. Saat ini pengurus Posyandu berjumlah 3 orang. Berdasarkan survey awal di Posyandu Desa Kuala Gading, pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan yakni imunisasi, ukur berat badan anak, dan pemberian makanan tambahan serta pemberian vitamin A. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara mitra, bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi, selama ini mitra dan masyarakat belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan pijat bayi dan anak serta mereka belum pernah juga mendapatkan pelatihan mekanisme pemijatan bayi dan balita atau fisiologis pijat bayi dan anak yang bisa dijadikan program kerja posyandu. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dengan adanya pengabdian diharapkan meningkatkan kesejahteraan tingkat kehidupan masyarakat, baik dari kesehatan yakni pengabdian memberikan pelatihan pada kader posyandu untuk pijat bayi dan anak dijadikan program kerja posyandu dan dari segi ekonomi bisa menjadi salah satu bentuk profesi pekerjaan.

Abstract

Currently, many parents experience addiction or are addicted to playing gadgets both when they are with their children and when they are not playing with their children. Children feel like they have lost many beautiful moments with their parents, because of the neglect made by their parents. The aim of carrying out this service is to provide understanding and additional knowledge to parents about the impact of gadget addiction experienced by parents on children's development. The method used in this research is the lecture method. The result of this community service is in the form of increasing parental understanding of the impacts caused if parents continue to play with gadgets without paying attention to the child's development, such as the child's social and emotional development and also the child's language development.

Abstract

It is important for children to master social skills from an early age as a provision for interacting with the environment and adapting themselves to the norms and values that apply in society. It requires experience and practice included in learning activities to enable children to interact and improve social skills. The problem-based learning model is a learning model that can expose children to social problems which is done in small groups which requires cooperation in an effort to find solutions to solve problems. The aim of the research is to examine the effect of problem based learning on the social skills of children aged 5-6 years. The research method uses an experiment with a quasi-experimental design, there are control and treatment groups, pretest and posttest. The results of the research show that there is an influence of problem-based learning on children's social skills.
