Abstract

Transportation safety is a critical aspect of the tour and travel industry. With increased focus on passenger safety and comfort, tour and travel companies must adopt information technology to enhance safety aspects. This article discusses the design and development of a tour and travel company website that is more safety-conscious, integrating important features such as NIK usage, passenger tracking, real-time notifications, and customer awareness education regarding safety. The design process employs the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) methodology. In summary, the new features added to the booking system have greatly improved user satisfaction and operational efficiency for the company. The safety-conscious website has positively impacted passenger safety and comfort. Technologies like NIK integration, real-time tracking, and automatic notifications have made the service more reliable and user-friendly. However, there's still a need for better education on safety requirements for drivers and vehicles, as many users admit to lacking understanding in this area. Continued efforts to educate users transparently can enhance trust and safety in transportation services.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Bill Bakerykoe merupakan salah satu UMKM yang bergerak dalam bidang makanan yang ada di Kudus, dengan hasil produksi utamanya adalah donat dan roti manis. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan wawancara, UMKM belum memiliki penataan area kerja yang baik. Dimana, dalam melakukan kegiatan produksi roti, dengan menggunakan tata letak (layout) fasilitas produksi saat ini, ditemukan bahwa penataan area kerja tidak sesuai dengan urutan aliran proses produksi. Sehingga, ditemukan pengulangan dalam melewati area produksi yang seharusnya belum waktunya untuk dilalui. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini ialah memberikan pengetahuan terkait usulan tata letak fasilitas produksi baru yang tepat dan lebih efisien, serta dapat meminimumkan kegiatan berulang yang membuang banyak waktu. Stasiun kerja yang diamati adalah mulai dari letak gudang bahan baku, mesin produksi, hingga tempat pengemasan produk. Terdapat 3 tahapan dalam pelaksaan program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini. Tahap pertama yaitu tahap survey, dengan melakukan kunjungan lokasi ke UMKM untuk kegiatan wawancara dan pengamatan proses produksi. Tahap selanjutnya, yaitu tahap implementasi kegiatan, yaitu dengan melakukan sosialisasi untuk memaparkan hasil usulan perbaikan tata letak area lantai produksi. Tahap terakhir yaitu, tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasil kegiatan yang didapatkan adalah mitra akan memiliki tata letak (layout) produksi yang lebih baik, serta mitra diharapkan dapat lebih memahami betapa pentingnya penataan area kerja, mesin dan peralatan produksi yang berurutan sesuai dengan tahapan aliran proses pembuatan produknya.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk, kebutuhan akan pangan semakin meningkat. Disisi lain, semakin membaiknya pemahaman masyarakat akan agama dan kesehatan, menjadikan permintaan masyarakat akan produk halal semakin meningkat. Sehingga, adanya sertifikasi halal memiliki posisi yang sangat penting, untuk memastikan barang-barang yang dikonsumsi telah memenuhi standar kelayakan dan sesuai dengan syarat-syarat kehalalan menurut syariat Islam. Hal ini wajib dipenuhi oleh semua pelaku usaha yang memproduksi barang-barang yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat tanpa terkecuali, termasuk UMKM. Namun demikian, pemahaman tentang prosedur memperoleh sertifikasi kehalalan produk masih jarang dipahami oleh UMKM. Pemahaman para pelaku usaha UMKM tentang bagaimana mendapatkan sertifikat kehalalan produknya masih sangat rendah. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para pengusaha UMKM dibidang makanan dan minuman mengenai pentingnya sertifikasi halal sekaligus memberikan panduan bagaimana cara mengajukan sertifikat halal dan dapat menjadi percontohan bagi UMKM lainnya khususnya di bidang makanan dan minuman di Kabupaten Kudus. Program ini melibatkan mitra yaitu Bill Bakery di Kecamatan Kota Kabupaten Kudus dan Any Syafaat Bakery di Kecamatan Gebog Kabupaten Kudus. Setelah program ini terlaksana, diharapkan para mitra pelaku usaha tersebut telah memiliki pemahaman tentang bagaimana mengurus sertifikat halal. Tindak lanjut kegiatan ini adalah pendampingan sampai kedua mitra tersebut benar-benar dapat memiliki sertifikat halal.

Abstract

Bill Bakerykoe is one of the UMKM operating in the food sector in Kudus, with the main production being Donat and Roti Manis. Based on observations, UMKM do not yet have a good work area arrangement. In carrying out bread production activities, using the current layout of production facilities, it was found that the arrangement of the work areas was not in accordance with the sequence of the production process flow from the initial process to the final process. Thus, there was repetition in passing through production areas that should not have been time to pass. The work stations observed were from the location of the raw material warehouse, production machines, to the product packaging area. This research aims to provide proposals for the layout of new production facilities that is appropriate and more efficient, and can eliminate repetitive activities that can waste a lot of time, by minimizing the total production distance. The research method used is Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) which starts from preparing a production route sheet, production process map, creating an ARC (Activity Relationship Chart), redesigning the layout, stages of analyzing the results, then conclusions and suggestions. The results of the research were changes to the layout of 7 work areas including the raw material area 1 (A), the leftover materials area (C), the equipment warehouse area (D), the dough molding area (F), the dough frying area (G), the Donut WIP (J), and equipment washing area (O). As for the comparison of the total production distance in the initial layout and the improved layout, the results showed that the new layout can reduce the total production distance by 16.4 meters.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the courier service industry, triggered by the increasing public demand for fast delivery services, has made it necessary for the Post Office to optimize the distribution process to ensure timely package delivery. The selection of distribution routes is a factor in achieving efficiency and effectiveness of delivery. Currently, the Kudus Post Office serves 9 sub-districts with 129 villages, using 12 couriers to deliver goods. However, the distribution route pattern that has not been well planned, causes a mismatch in delivery time. Thus, this study focuses on the formation of a package distribution route pattern using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor Methods, in designing a planned courier route pattern. The purpose of this method is to find out the route with the minimum distance, so as to produce an optimal delivery route that can increase customer satisfaction through faster delivery services. The results of this study are the formation of 12 package distribution route patterns for each courier, with a total difference in distance between the savings matrix and nearest neighbor methods of 127.75 km.

Abstract

PT. ABCD merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa pengangkutan dan pengolahan air limbah. Menurut manjemen perusahaan rute distribusi armada yang ada kurang optimal, sehingga menyebabkan waktu pengiriman kurang efesien, yang berdampak pula pada waktu kerja driver yang berlebih. Penelitian ini berfokus pada implementasi Nearest Neighbor (NN) dalam perencanaan pola rute armada PT ABCD dengan menggunakan metode Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Window (VRPTW), untuk pengambilan air limbah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan, terminimalisisrnya waktu tempuh, jarak tempuh, biaya distribusi, dan waktu proses dalam pengambilan air limbah oleh PT. ABCD. Dengan perbandingan antara rute awal yang sudah ada, dengan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode VRPTW, maka didapatkan selisih hasil waktu tempuh kendaraan mencapai 1 jam 48 menit 14 detik, selisih jarak tempuh 7,1 km, selisih biaya distribusi sebesar Rp. 6.390, dan selisih waktu proses selama 2 jam 58 menit 04 detik. Abstract

Waqf is one of the Islamic social institutions that is highly recommended in Islamic teachings to be used by a person as a means of channeling the sustenance given to him by Allah. Waqf is also one of the instruments to create justice and prosperity in the economic field. When the waqf has been fulfilled, there is a change in ownership from private to community ownership which is expected to be lasting and provide sustainable benefits.On the other hand, Indonesia also has major challenges in the field of disaster mitigation. With all its natural potential, Indonesia has enormous disaster risks. The risk will always be there forever. For this reason, it is necessary to have an instrument that can be used at any time in the entire disaster management process. This potential is in waqf funds. This research tries to explore the possibility of waqf funds to be used as a means of disaster management, especially in terms of financing the procurement of disaster logistics during emergency response, recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction which requires very large costs.

Abstract

Agriculture is a sector that is able to score growth during the pandemic crisis. The export performance of the agricultural sector also continues to show positive growth. For this reason, real support is needed so that agriculture can continue to grow sustainably. One of them is by building a modern agricultural commodity product storage system, one of which is by using a warehouse receipt system. The warehouse receipt system has very strategic functions, including as a stock management instrument, logistics financing instrument, and supporting food security efforts. Unfortunately, the utilization of the warehouse receipt system in Kudus Regency is still very low, as indicated by the minimal utilization of the warehouse receipt system. This research aims to analyze the reasons why the warehouse receipt system has not been optimally utilized by farmers. This research uses a qualitative method with Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that SRG has great potential to improve the welfare of farmers and advance the agricultural sector in Kudus Regency. However, to overcome various obstacles that hinder the implementation of SRG, serious efforts are needed from various parties, namely: Increase public knowledge and awareness about SRG; simplify the process and requirements for using SRG; improve SRG infrastructure, including information systems and warehouses; improve the ability of farmers to obtain financing through SRG; and improve cooperation between related agencies.
