Abstract

Emulsifiers so far are important class of additives used in food products. Food industries and regulatory authorities have striven for the continuous development of analytical methods to determine the emulsifiers in foods. Chromatography is one of the powerful analytical techniques used in the analysis of food components due to its capability for the separation and quantitative analyses of emulsifiers. This article describes some chromatographic techniques, namely gas chromatography (GC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), and planar chromatography for detection and quantification of emulsifiers in food. Sample preparation involved in the analysis of emulsifiers has been also highlighted.

Abstract

Implants are a long-term family planning method (MKJP). This contraceptive requires skills in removing and installing it. An implant is a type of Long Term Contraceptive Method (MKJP) which is in the form of a small rod that is placed under the skin layer of the inner upper arm. The implant contains the hormone progesterone which can be effective for three years and can return to fertility after the removal process (BKKBN, 2020). According to the BKKBN, implants are one strategy for family planning services to accelerate the reduction in the Total Fertility Rate (TFR) in Indonesia. Based on its use, implants are more efficient because they are used for a long time and are safer and more effective. The MKJP failure rate is reported to be 0.2 per 1000 users, while non-MKJP methods are reported to occur at 10 per 1000 users (BKKBN, 2020). . The implementation of this community service activity was attended by 10 women of childbearing age in the working area of the Rajabasa Community Health Center. The method used in this activity was through lectures and discussions as well as questions and answers about contraceptives and continued with implant installation. This activity increases knowledge of women of childbearing age about implants while increasing MKJP coverage in the family planning sector

Abstract

Upaya untuk memperlancar ASI dapat dilakukan dengan mengkonsumsi makanan dan obat tradisional. Obat tradisional dapat kita perolah dari tumbuhan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar seperti daun kelor, Daun Katuk, dan daun papaya yang mana tanaman tersebut mudah didapat dan tumbuh subur di desa tersebut , dan yang selama ini mereka hanya tahu manfaat dari daun tersebut hanya di jadikan sayuran saja. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada ibu menyusui tentang ASI eklusif, manfaat ASI dan makanan yang dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dibantu dengan menggunakan layar LCD dan Leaflet yang dibagikan kepada ibu menyusui. Diikuti oleh 20 orang ibu menyusui, diawali dengan pretest,kemudian memberikan materi tentang ASI eklusif dan cara meningkatkan produksi ASI dan melakukan praktik pembuatan puding daun kelor dan putu ayu daun kelor dengan menggunaan media leaflet, dan memutar video, diakhiri dengan posttest, Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu menyusui dengan melakukan inovasi olahan daun kelor setelah dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Kota Guring.

Abstract

Local wisdom is part of culture that cannot be separated from society. One of the local wisdoms in the form of traditions that still survive is in Lemah Ireng Village. This research is motivated by the low awareness of the nation's children, especially the youth of the current generation of culture. This study aims to find out local wisdom that still exists and how the community preserves traditions or customs. The research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Data analysis went through four stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the local wisdoms that are still being preserved in Lemah Ireng Village are the Punggahan tradition, Pudunan tradition, and Sedekah Bumi. Preservation of local wisdom is carried out by teaching the younger generation to recognize, learn, and be involved in the traditions or customs that exist in Lemah Ireng Village. The community hopes that the prevailing customs will not be lost and continue to develop into the next generation.

Abstract

This study explores external audit practices in manufacturing companies. This article aims to examine external audit practices at PT Indofood, one of the largest food and beverage companies in Indonesia. The primary focus is on the audit procedures used and compli- ance with applicable audit standards. By using literature analysis and secondary data from various journals and PT Indofood's annual financial reports, this research provides in-depth insight into the effectiveness of external audits in increasing company transparency and accountability. The existing findings show that PT Indofood has carried out an external audit of their consolidated reports in accordance with applicable regulations. This finding underlines that no problems have occurred with external audit practices within PT Indofood so far.

Abstract

AbstrakMahasiswa dapat mengalami beragam pengalaman selama proses pembelajaran di kampus, termasuk situasi yang dapat menimbulkan stress. Penelitian ini merangkum penggunaan metode Deep Touch Pressure (DTP) atau tekanan di titik tertentu yang diterapkan pada produk rompi untuk membantu mengurangi kecemasan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. DTP adalah salah satu metode terapi yang memberikan sensori taktil/sentuhan dan tekanan pada titik tertentu pada tubuh, yang diperoleh melalui media seperti bahan kain berpemberat, untuk memberikan efek pelukan sehingga membantu proses penyembuhan fisik dan emosi yang dialami oleh individu. Perancangan ini menawarkan ide teknologi adaptif – asistif berupa rompi sensori dengan metode DTP untuk memunculkan efek menenangkan. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dari mahasiswa yang mengalami gangguan belajar spesifik dan atau mahasiswa yang didiagnosa dengan kebutuhan khusus serta yang mengalami kecemasan dalam situasi tertentu di perkuliahan adalah tujuan utama dilakukannya penelitian ini. Metode pendekatan desain diaplikasikan dalam proses penelitian, dimulai dari observasi kebutuhan, ideasi, proses sketsa alternatif desain, dan ujicoba purwarupa rompi sensori yang melibatkan mahasiswa. Rompi DTP sebagai teknologi adaptif-asistif divalidasi menggunakan metode Visual Analogue Scales yang diisi oleh mahasiswa partisipan. Hasil perancangan ini menjadi solusi untuk membantu menenangkan kecemasan, memberikan stimulasi positif dalam regulasi emosi diri, terutama dalam situasi pembelajaran yang kompetitif. Hasil dari perancangan ini ini juga menjadi media pendukung Unit Layanan Disabilitas Itenas Bandung, yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa maupun dosen dan civitas akademika yang mengalami gangguan kecemasan. Kata kunci: rompi deep-touch pressure vest, adaptif, teknologi asistif, rompi sensori, disabilitas AbstractIn the learning process on campus, students could experience pressuret hat could cause anxiety if not treated well. This research comprises one potential approach in applying DTP (deep touch pressure) as an adaptive technology vest product to help students through their anxiety. Deep touch pressure (DTP) is a type of tactile sensory input obtained through physical action by using pressure interventions to help students' physical and emotional healing process. Designing a sensory vest with the deep-touch-pressure method (DTP/weighted vest) aims to provide a calming effect. To solve the needs of the students who experience specific learning difficulties and/or students diagnosed with special needs when they experience anxiety in certain situations on campus is this research’s main objective. The design approach method was applied in this research process, starting with observation, interviews, ideation, sketching design alternatives, and prototype testing of sensory vest products involving students. The DTP Vest as an adaptive-assistive technology was validated using the Visual Analogue Scales method completed by student participants. The results of this design provide a solution to help calm anxiety, offering positive stimulation in self-emotional regulation, especially in competitive learning situations. The outcomes of this design also serve as a supporting media for the disability service unit at Itenas Bandung, which can be utilized by students, lecturers, and the academic community experiencing anxiety dysregulations.Keywords: deep-touch pressure vest, adaptive, assistive technology, sensory vest, disability

Abstract

The purpose of this work was to provide a robust, sensitive, accurate, and straightforward analytical method for measuring dexamethasone sodium phosphate (DSP) in chitosan microspheres preparedn using the spray drying method. DSP was quantitatively analyzed using RP-HPLC with an ultraviolet detector at 254 nm, a mobile phase that contained a mixture of acetonitrile and 0.1% sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate (50:50) operating isocratically at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, and a stationary phase that was a C18 PrincetonSPHER-100 C18-QB 100A HPLC Column (250 × 4.6 mm, 5 um). The ICH recommendations were followed in the validation of the analytical method. DSP had a retention duration of 2.899 minutes and a tailing factor of 0.827. The RP-HPLC method was linear (R = 0.9992) in the 15-60 ug/mL concentration range. The limits of quantitation (LOQ) and detection (LOD) were 4.425 ug/mL and 1.327 ug/mL, respectively. The relative standard deviations for the intra-day and inter-day precisions were 0.057-0.876% and 0.780-0.949%, respectively. The recovery percentages at 50, 100, and 200% concentration levels were within the 99.269-100.980% range. The validated method has been successfully applied to determine DSP entrapment efficiency in chitosan microspheres. A linear, sensitive, accurate, precise, and robust technique of determining DSP in chitosan microsphere preparations is offered by the established RP-HPLC method.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the courier service industry, triggered by the increasing public demand for fast delivery services, has made it necessary for the Post Office to optimize the distribution process to ensure timely package delivery. The selection of distribution routes is a factor in achieving efficiency and effectiveness of delivery. Currently, the Kudus Post Office serves 9 sub-districts with 129 villages, using 12 couriers to deliver goods. However, the distribution route pattern that has not been well planned, causes a mismatch in delivery time. Thus, this study focuses on the formation of a package distribution route pattern using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor Methods, in designing a planned courier route pattern. The purpose of this method is to find out the route with the minimum distance, so as to produce an optimal delivery route that can increase customer satisfaction through faster delivery services. The results of this study are the formation of 12 package distribution route patterns for each courier, with a total difference in distance between the savings matrix and nearest neighbor methods of 127.75 km.

Abstract

Memahami tentang pengaturan keuangan sangat penting ditanamkan sejak dini agar tercapainya tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana media digital bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai media literasi keuangan bagi generasi Alpha. Melalui wawancara terhadap 3 orang guru yang mengajar di SDN Sertajaya 01, SDN Sertajaya 03, dan SMPN 1 Cikarang Timur, Kabupaten Bekasi didapatkan bahwa penggunaan gadget membawa pengaruh buruk pada pola belajar anak, hal itu diungkapkan oleh para guru yang mengaku cukup kesulitan dalam mengajar anak-anak generasi Alpha. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan perangkat elektronik seperti gadget sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung tahap belajar. Sekolah-sekolah saat ini juga sudah mulai berinisiatif untuk menerapkan media digital sebagai metode pembelajaran. Sedangkan hasil kuesioner yang dibagikan secara snowball memperlihatkan bahwa 87.7% responden sudah memberikan perangkat seluler kepada generasi Alpha namun dengan pengawasan mereka, dengan akses paling banyak oleh Generasi Alpha sekitar 49.2% yaitu game. Lalu didapatkan bahwa sudah banyak platform media digital yang dapat meningkatkan literasi keuangan namun saat ini belum ada penerapan atau tindakan khusus di rumah ataupun ruang lingkup belajar di sekolah. Sehingga para orang tua dan guru berharap di masa yang akan datang nanti terdapat banyak sarana peningkatan literasi keuangan dan dapat diterapkan baik di rumah maupun di sekolah.

Abstract

Background: Kejenuhan siswa saat melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, sudah menjadi permasalahan yang klasik, apalagi yang berkaitan dengan media pembelajaran. Tuntutan bagi sekolah yang harus dapat menghasilkan lulusan dengan profil lulusan yang lengkap, akan menjadi tantangan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan solusi teknologi untuk ketidaktersediaan alat peraga yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan visi, misi, dan standar kelulusan siswa di SDIT Daarul Jihad. Metode: Terdapat dua metodologi yang digunakan, yaitu metode pendekatan pencarian masalah berbasis pengguna menggunakan design thinking serta metode pengembangan aplikasi game, menggunakan Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). Materi tata surya kelas 6 di SDIT Daarul Jihad yang dijadikan container pada aplikasi ini. Hasil: Aplikasi berbasis teknologi immersive telah dikembangkan pada tahapan alpa testing (prototype). Berbasis pada permasalahan yang ada di SDIT, aplikasi tersebut memiliki beberapa fitur unggulan dari sisi sebagai media interaktif, yaitu dapat melihat deskripsi planet secara tulisan dan audio yang sudah disesuaikan untuk kebutuhan sekolah tersebut. Kesimpulan: Melalui kegiatan workshop yang diadakan, kepala sekolah dan guru SDIT Daarul Jihad telah melihat bagaimana teknologi immersive diimplementasikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Harapannya adalah, dengan adanya teknologi tersebut di sekolah, dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa-siswi di SDIT Daarul Jihad untuk belajar.
