Abstract

Kata Kunci: Optimalisasi, Kader, Stroke ABSTRACT Cadres have a contribution in optimizing the functional function of post-stroke patients, so that patients are able to improve the patient's level of health and independence. The aim of this activity is to improve the skills of cadres to help provide functional training procedures to patients. The method used is the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. Implementation of community service activities begins with permission from the Gisikcemandi Village Head, coordination with partners, division of tasks between the implementing team. Partner participation is carried out by preparing a place and loudspeakers. The discussion process was smooth, partners paid attention to the explanation, several questions were asked to the implementing team. The results showed an increase in partners' skills regarding functional training for stroke with good skill levels after health training was provided to partners. It is hoped that by increasing functional training skills in cadres, there will be changes in more specific helping behavior, especially in the area of functional training. Keywords: Optimization, Community Health Workers, Stroke

Abstract

Background: Pre-hospital stroke management has been suboptimal, leading to delays from symptom onset to treatment administration in stroke patients. Improving pre-hospital care can be achieved by training community health workers (cadres).Purpose: To determine the impact of training on the skills of cadres in performing early stroke detection before hospitalization. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of cadres from Gisikcemandi Village who met the inclusion criteria: 1) willing to participate as respondents, and 2) actively serving as cadres. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 30 respondents. The intervention was training on early stroke detection before hospitalization, with the cadres' skills in early stroke detection measured. Data were analyzed using SPSS with the Wilcoxon testResult: The average age of respondents was 43.37 years (SD±6.8). Before the training, the majority, 83% (25) of respondents, had basic practical skills, and 17% (5) had guided practical skills. After the training on early stroke detection, the respondents' skills improved to 63,34% (19) with adoption-level skills, 33,33% (10) with basic practical skills, and 3,3% (1) with guided practical skills. The results showed a Z-score of -4.796 with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after the early stroke detection training for the cadres.Implication: The training had a significant impact on the skills of cadres in performing early stroke detection before hospitalization. Continuous training and evaluation of the effectiveness of early stroke detection training are necessary for long-term success

Abstract

Physical activity is a functional ability that is carried out by every individual every day. Apart from physical activity, every individual also has habits, namely sports activities. Sports are fun and healthy for anyone who does sports activities. Starting from an early age to the elderly, they may be encouraged to exercise regularly with the aim of maintaining fitness. Physical activities and sports are also prone to causing injury if you are not properly prepared before and after the activity or sport. Injury is a trauma to the integumentary, muscular and skeletal systems caused by physical activity. Injuries during physical activity/sports are caused by various factors, including incorrect training methods, structural abnormalities and physiological weaknesses in the function of supporting tissues and muscles.

Abstract

When there is an ankle sprain injury the athlete has decreased functional ability and decreased instability of the ankle joint. One of the actions used to reduce the risk of injury and increase the performance of athletes is by providing a Neuromuscular Training Program (NMT). This study to prove the effect of the provision of the Neuromuscular Training Program on the functional performance. This study used a Randomized Pre Test and Post Test Group Design study design. Respondents of this study were male soccer athletes, amounting to 18 athletes who met the inclusion criteria, then divided into 2 groups randomly, each group consisted of 9 respondents. The study showed that there were differences in improvement in functional performance after the administration of the Neuromuscular Training Program in male soccer athletes with a history of ankle sprain. In the treatment group shows the results of functional performance (SLHT) with a value of p = 0,000 indicates a significant effect. Then the results of subjective functional performance measurements using Cumberland Ankle and Instability Tools (CAIT) in the treatment group showed the results of functional performance (CAIT) with a value of p = 0.005. From the results of the study that there were differences and improves in functional performance after the administration of the Neuromuscular Training Program in male soccer athletes with a history of ankle sprain.
