Abstract

This study aims to gather information, analyze and discuss data on Learning Motivation Relationship with Learning Outcomes of Geography students of SMAN 5 Padang. Type correlational study population was all students of class XI IPS consists of four local numbering 162 people. Samples were taken by proportional random sampling technique, where each class is taken randomly with a proportion of 50% so that the sample was 81 students. These results indicate there is a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMA N 5 Padang, the strength of the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes geographies including medium and small contributions are included.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis tentang kompetensi guru dalam melakssanakan evaluasi pembelajaran geografi di SMPN kota padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportioned Stratified Random Sampling atau teknik sampel berjenjang, yang dibagi kedalam beberapa kriteria, yaitu pertama: kriteria sekolah berstandar internasional yaitu SMPN 2 Padang,, kedua: kriteria sekolah berstandar nasional yaitu SMPN 12 Padang, dan ketiga: kriteria sekolah biasa yaitu SMPN 18 Padang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar geografi disekolah tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1. guru geografi dalam memilih soal sudah berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda. 2. Guru sudah memeriksa jawaban siswa dengan baik dan mampu mengklasifikasikan hasil . 3. Guru sudah mampu mengklasifikasikan  nilai siswa dan tindak lanjutnya.Kata kuncis: kompetensi guru, evaluasiThis study aims to describe and analyze teacher competencies in conducting an evaluation of geography learning in Padang city junior high school. This study uses a qualitative method, the sample technique used is proportional stratified random sampling, which is divided into several criteria, namely first: criteria for international standard schools, namely Padang 2 Junior High School, second: criteria for national standard schools, namely Padang 12 Junior High School, and third: criteria for ordinary schools, namely SMP 18 Padang. The subject of this research is the teacher who teaches the geography of the school. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are 1. the geography teacher in choosing the problem is based on the level of difficulty and distinguishing power. 2. The teacher has examined the answers of the students well and is able to classify the results. 3. The teacher is able to classify student grades and follow-up.Keywords: teacher competence, evaluation

Abstract

This study aims at the Community Knowledge of Bajir disaster mitigation and community preparedness to Reduce the Risk of Flood Disaster at Nagari Aur Begalung Talaok, Bayang Subdistrict, southern coastal district. Descriptive research method The location of the study was at Nagari Aur Begalung Talaok, Bayang Subdistrict, southern coastal district. Population in the study The sample head of the family used an area probability sample and sample respondents based on the "proportional random sampling" method with a proportion of 20% of the total number of heads of family in Jorong, so that 23 respondents were obtained. Data analysis technique Using percentage formula and scale scales. The results of the study, First the public's knowledge of flood disasters. It can be concluded that the community's knowledge of flood disasters in the Bayang Nagari Aur Begalung Talaok District is quite understandable with a percentage of 43.51%, which means that based on the results of the community research, the understanding and knowledge of floods and damage are caused by flooding. Community preparedness about flood mitigation, It can be concluded that community preparedness to reduce the risk of floods in the Bayang Subdistrict Nagari Aur Begalung Talaok includes a notable percentage of 63.15%, which means that from the results of research the community does not understand preparedness to reduce risks, losses and damage caused with the flood disaster. Keyword: Flood Disaster. mitigation
