Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of Muslim entrepreneurs’ perceptions of zakat compliance mediated by the intention to pay zakat with subjective norms and religiosity. Quantitative methods were employed in this study. Questionnaires were administered to Muslim entrepreneurs, and we examined the information from 140 participants using the Smart-PLS 3 application. The findings indicate that the direct impact on religiosity yielded significant results, whereas the subjective norm was insignificant. Subsequently, the indirect effect, specifically on religiosity and subjective norms, demonstrated a significant impact between the two. In this study, the theory of planned behavior can be used as a determining factor to identify the impact of Muslim entrepreneurs on zakat compliance. This research suggests that Muslim entrepreneurs’ zakat compliance can signal to stakeholders the importance of using zakat payments optimally to achieve poverty reduction goals. Implementing this research not only maximizes institutional benefits in promoting zakat, but also broadens the perspective on zakat compliance among Muslim entrepreneurs based on the theory of planned behavior through intention.

Abstract

Objective: This research refers to the purpose of student organizations that function as a means for students to develop intellectual abilities and skills, so student interest talent development activities as part of the educational process can be carried out through student organizations. This is important because honing skills through self-habituation and fulfilling the needs of life can form a balance between knowledge and skills as the basis of quality human resources in the development of the time. Method: It was carried out by analyzing the research model of the influence between student leadership training, including Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM on CLEI (measurement of higher education learning effectiveness inventory) in this measurement method. This procedure was used to test multiple regression research models. Results: It was stated that the participation of students in the leadership training of Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM students had a partial and simultaneous effect on student learning ability through the measurement of student learning ability effectiveness inventory (CLEI).  Novelty: in this study is to measure the impact of participation in the level of student leadership training on students' learning abilities by using a variety of six learning abilities, including self-efficacy, organization and attention to learning, stress control due to time and environmental pressures, involvement in college activities, emotional satisfaction, and communication in learning adapted from a research questionnaire called inventory higher learning effectiveness (CLEI).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media usage and Islamic religiosity on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, among bottled drinking water (AMDK) industry employees in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was used with a non-probability purposive sampling technique, involving 214 respondents. Data were collected through online questionnaires, then analyzed using SPSS 24 for descriptive analysis and Smart PLS 4 for structural model analysis. The results show that social media usage and Islamic religiosity, both directly and indirectly (through job satisfaction), positively and significantly affect employee performance. This study enriches the understanding of the relationship between these variables in the context of the AMDK industry in Indonesia, while highlighting the importance of optimizing social media usage and integrating religious values to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of socioeconomic status and mental health on the academic achievement of final-year students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, collecting data through This The study was conducted using a quantitative approach with questionnaires filled out by final-year students. Socioeconomic status was measured using six indicators (education, employment, income, material possessions, services, and transportation), while mental health was measured using five dimensions (happiness, depression, anxiety, emotional control, and positive behavior). Results: Data analysis using multiple linear regression shows that socioeconomic status and mental health have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on students' academic achievement. These results indicate that stable family financial support and healthy psychological conditions can improve the focus, motivation, and learning productivity of final-year students. Novelty: This study provides novelty by integrating two major variables are socioeconomic status and mental health analyzed simultaneously in relation to the academic achievement of final-year university students, a context rarely explored in Indonesian higher education research. Moreover, it applies Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory to explain the interaction between external (socioeconomic) and internal (psychological) factors affecting academic performance, with empirical evidence drawn from final-year students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, who are experiencing academic pressure and transition to professional life.
