Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the school had several strategies used by teachers to develop students’ social skills. This aims to develop the social aspect because basically every student will need help from other people to become a social person, but in reality, there are still students who are unable to communicate with other people. This research aims to find out about teachers’ strategies, the obstacles faced by teachers, and how teachers overcome obstacles in developing student’s social skills in social studies subjects in class V at SDN 41 Ampenan.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out in three ways, namely observations, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity testing uses four methods, namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Based on the research results, it was found that the teacher’s strategy in improving social skills in social studies subjects in class V. namely by getting students to work together in groups, teaching empathy, showing a participative attitude, and instilling discipline. As for the obstacles teachers face, namely students’ personalities, and the influence of peers and parent students. How to overcome obstacles in developing social skills student. How to overcome obstacles in developing social skills students, namely the solution of the student’s personality, the solution of peer influence and the solution is to establish cooperation between teachers and parents of students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the school's strategy for improving the nationalist character of students at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City, and the supporting factors for increasing the nationalist character of students at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was carried out at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City. Data sources from teachers and students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. Based on the research results, it was found that the school's strategy for improving students' nationalistic character is: (1) The school involves its students in taking part in the flag ceremony every Monday morning, (2) The school involved students in a cultural parade wearing traditional regional clothing, (3) involvement of students in following beautiful walks, (4) involvement of students in Lenggo cultural dances. It is hoped that this article will contribute to developing a theoretical framework and practical strategies for developing knowledge in Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran Jigsaw sebagai strategi efektif dalam pembelajaran PKN di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Library Research yaitu peneliti dapat mengeksplorasi kajian-kajian sebelumnya, teori-teori yang mendasari yang dianggap relevan dan informatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model Jigsaw sebagai strategi efektif dalam pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan oleh siswa dengan belajar berkelompok baik dengan kelompok kecil maupun dengan kelompok inti. Model pembelajaran Jigsaw mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif karena dalam pembelajaran ini dilakukan diskusi dengan kelompoknya masing-masing.

Abstract

This research explores the evolution of the primary school curriculum in Indonesia over time, with the aim of understanding how social changes, cultural and scientific developments affect curriculum design and implementation. From the beginning of independence, curricula tended to be rigid, focusing on content mastery and memorization. Over time, especially after reformasi, there has been a significant shift towards a more flexible and competency-oriented curriculum that emphasizes character development, 21st century skills and relevance to the local context. This research found that modern curricula, such as Curriculum 2013, integrate a holistic approach that links knowledge, skills and attitudes, creating more meaningful learning experiences for students. The findings show the importance of continuous curriculum evaluation and renewal to face global challenges and create inclusive and quality education in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas “Ruang Lingkup Pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar: Relevansi dan Penerapan dalam Kurikulum”. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pembelajaran IPS dapat diintegrasikan secara efektif dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar, dengan memperhatikan relevansi materi terhadap konteks lokal dan tantangan global. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis dokumen kurikulum untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dalam penerapan kurikulum IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS yang kontekstual tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang isu-isu sosial, tetapi juga membekali mereka dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penerapan kurikulum yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan pemerintah menjadi kunci dalam mengoptimalkan implementasi kurikulum. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar harus diarahkan untuk membentuk karakter dan keterampilan sosial siswa, sehingga mereka menjadi individu yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif dan inovatif, serta peningkatan dukungan bagi pendidik dalam proses implementasi

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in Civic Education (PKn) learning at SDN 42 Ampenan. Using descriptive methods and a qualitative approach, this study explores the impact of P5 on students' understanding of the material and character building. The results indicate that the implementation of P5 is effective in enhancing students' active participation through contextual learning methods, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), which are relevant to their daily lives. Despite challenges in implementation, such as teachers' lack of understanding and resource limitations, appropriate support and training help overcome these obstacles. This study concludes that P5 not only improves academic performance but also contributes to the development of students' character in line with the values of Pancasila, thereby preparing them to become responsible and tolerant individuals in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan peran penting pelestarian budaya lokal dalam konteks pengembangan pariwisata lokal di Makam Datu Benue, Desa Selebung, Kecamatan Batukliang, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari program KKP (Kuliah Kerja Partisipatif) dari UIN Mataram. Makam Datu Benue adalah situs bersejarah yang memiliki nilai historis signifikan dalam sejarah dan budaya kuno di Lombok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) dan community mapping sebagai metodologi utama. Melalui penggalian sejarah, penataan lingkungan, dan pemahaman mendalam terhadap budaya lokal, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi peran pelestarian budaya dalam mengembangkan pariwisata lokal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang asal usul, nilai-nilai historis, dan peristiwa yang terkait dengan Makam Datu Benue. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas dampak dari upaya pelestarian budaya ini terhadap pengembangan wisata lokal. Ini mencakup peningkatan daya tarik wisatawan, kontribusi terhadap ekonomi lokal, serta pelestarian tradisi dan pengetahuan lokal. Langkah-langkah konkrit seperti penataan lingkungan, pemasangan plang penunjuk arah, dan pemulihan tradisi-tradisi lokal juga dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyoroti betapa pentingnya pelestarian budaya lokal dalam pengembangan wisata lokal dan bagaimana pendekatan ABCD dan community mapping dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam upaya ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini berpotensi memberikan manfaat berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat lokal, memperkuat identitas budaya suku Sasak, dan mengenalkan sejarah yang kaya kepada masyarakat luas
