Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance index and business analysis of broilers infected with Escherichia coli by administering lactic acid bacteria probiotics in the form of Lactoped® (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus fermentatum, Lactobacillus acidophilus). This type of research was true experimental research using a post-test-only control group design. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD). 30 broilers were randomized into three treatments (P0, P1 and P2) in each group with a minimum of six times. Probiotic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) with a concentration of 108 CFU/ml in broilers infected with Escherichia coli showed a higher performance index. It could cover the entire fixed costs so still feasible to do, meanwhile, for the scale of research (10 heads/treatment), it was not yet feasible to implement due to it has suffered losses.

Abstract

The Kalibaru Port of Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, is one of the ports that is used for shipping and loading and unloading activities. Bathymetry information is needed to support one of the activities in the port, namely in terms of shipping. The purpose of this research is to map the bathymetry in the harbor pool area and to find out the areas that need to be dredged in the Kalibaru Tanjong Priok harbor pond. This research was conducted on May 24, 2022 in the pond area of ​​Tanjung Priok Harbor, North Jakarta. This research was conducted using a single beam echosounder using a Garmin GPSmap 420s tool to determine the depth of the harbor pool. Data processing using Ms. excel, Auto CAD land desktop, surfer to generate depth contours and calculate dredge volume. The volume calculation uses the average end area method. The calculation result of dredging volume is the sum of the cross-sectional area multiplied by the section distance. The results showed that the depth of the Tangjung Priok harbor waters ranged from 3 to 17 meters and the dredged volume reached 165,319 m3.

Abstract

Probiotics are living microbial agents that can provide benefits to the host by modifying the microbial community or associating with the host, improving the nutritional value and utilization of feed, increasing the host's response to disease, and improving the quality of its threshold environment. This study was conducted to determine the effect of probiotic application in manufactured feed on feed consumption, feed utilization efficiency, growth rate and survival rate of tilapia (Oreochromis, sp). The study used a Completely Randomized Design method with five treatments and four replications. Treatment A is feed without the addition of probiotics; treatment B is feed with the addition of 5 cc/kg of probiotics; treatment C is feed with the addition of 10 cc/kg of probiotics, treatment D is feed with the addition of 15 cc/kg of probiotics and treatment E is feed with the addition of 20 cc/kg of probiotics. The variables observed in this study were feed consumption, feed utilization efficiency, relative growth rate and survival rate of tilapia (Oreochromis, sp). The results of the study showed that the treatment of feeding with the addition of probiotics had a very significant effect (p <0.05). The best treatment was treatment C, namely feed with the addition of 10gr/kg of probiotics. While water quality data and other supporting data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the treatment of feed with the addition of 10cc/kg of probiotics showed the best results on feed consumption, feed utilization efficiency and relative growth rate. KINERJA PERTUMBUHAN IKAN NILA YANG DIBERI PAKAN DENGAN PENAMBAHAN DOSIS PROBIOTIK YANG BERBEDAProbiotik merupakan agen mikroba hidup yang mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi inang dengan memodifikasi komunitas mikroba atau berasosiasi dengan inang, memperbaiki nilai nutrisi dan pemanfaatan pakan, meningkatkan respon inang terhadap penyakit,dan memperbaiki kualitas lingkungan ambangnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi probiotik pada pakan pabrikan terhadap konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan, laju pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan  hidup/survival rate ikan nila (Oreochromis, sp). Penelitian  menggunakan  metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan A adalah pakan  tanpa penambahan probiotik; perlakuan B adalah pakan dengan penambahan probiotik 5 cc/kg pakan; perlakuan C adalah pakan dengan penambahan probiotik 10 cc/kg pakan, perlakuan D adalah pakan dengan penambahan probiotik 15 cc/kg pakan dan perlakuan  E adalah pakan dengan  penambahan  probiotik 20 cc/kg pakan. Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitan ini adalah konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan,laju pertumbuhan relative dan kelangsungan hidup ikan nila(Oreochromis,sp).Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian pakan dengan penambahan probiotik  berpengaruh sangat nyata (p< 0,05). Perlakuan terbaik adalah perlakuan C yaitu pakan dengan penambahan  probiotik 10gr/kg pakan, sedangkan  data  kualitas air dan data penunjang yang lain dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pakan dengan penambahan probiotik 10cc/kg pakan  menunjukkan hasil yang terbaik terhadap konsumsi pakan ,efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan dan laju pertumbuhan relative.
