Abstract

Introduction: The Spread of Covid-19 can be prevented by implementing Covid-19 prevention behavior. This research aims to analyze factors related to covid-19 prevention behavior in the community. Methods: This research was an observational analytical study with a cross sectional design approach in North Parigi District from July until December 2022. Variables in this study include age, gender, occupation, income, education, health insurance, history of covid-19 infection, history of covid-19 vaccination and behavior to prevent covid-19. Sample in this study was 120 people taken by simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis utilizing the Chi Square test. Ethical approval was obtained from Health Polytechnis of Palu, Ministry of Health Indonesia, Number: 0089/KEPK-KPK/VI/2022. Results: The results of this study demonstrated that there was a relationship between age (p=0.000), occupation (p=0.001), history of covid-19 infection and behavior to prevent covid-19. Conclusion: This study concludes that there was a significant relationship between age, occupation, history of covid-19 infection and behavior to prevent covid-19. therefore, the community and health workers can work together, support each other, and follow the guidelines to create a saver and healthier environment from covid-19 for all.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, DC motors are often used in industrial equipment or household appliances, but in DC motors they often experience a decrease due to the given load, it requires a controller. This research uses PID (Proportional Derivative) controller. In this study, the DC motor can be controlled despite the load using the trial and error method. This study uses Arduino UNO software for testing using parameters Kp=1.5, Ki=0.87, Kd=0.27. parameter y is the parameter value Kp, Ki, Kd obtained from the system response according to the software used. the value of rise time = 0.9925 Tested, Time = 2.7368, Overshoot = 1.3333 and Steady State Error = 0

Abstract

The unsupervised use of antibiotics continues to be a pressing public health issue because it may contribute to antimicrobial resistance and increase the likelihood of unwanted health effects. A community’s understanding of when and how antibiotics should be used is one factor that can influence self-medication practices. For this reason, research sought for eva;uatng level knowledge related to independent antibiotic use among residents of East Mamungaa Village. A quantitative descriptive observational approach was selected as it enables a clear depiction of knowledge patterns within the population. A total of 172 individuals 18–65 years asked by purposive sampling, and information was obtained using a structured questionnaire assessing knowledge of indications, safety considerations, and appropriate antibiotic use. The results indicate that 60.5% of participants possessed a moderate level of knowledge, 28.5% demonstrated a good level of knowledge, and 11.0% showed limited knowledge. These outcomes reveal that although most respondents have a basic awareness of antibiotics, important gaps remain—especially in recognizing the dangers of using these medications without clinical guidance. Accordingly, continuous community-based education efforts are needed to strengthen proper antibiotic practices and minimize the risks associated with self-medication.

Abstract

Abstract: Stunting, if not treated immediately, will have negative impacts in the future. One effort that can be made to prevent stunting is by conducting outreach to pregnant women and mothers with toddlers by providing information about stunting because it can shape good behavior. This outreach activity aims to increase mothers' understanding and knowledge about how to prevent stunting. This socialization activity used the counseling method using PowerPoint and leaflets which was attended by 20 mothers. Evaluation is carried out in this activity by looking at the results of the answers obtained from the pretest and posttest from the participants. The result of this activity was that there was an increase in mothers' knowledge scores before being given the socialization, there were 19 mothers (95%) with poor knowledge about stunting and after being given the socialization there was an increase in mothers' knowledge to good for 17 mothers (85%). Suggestions that can be given are the need to increase socialization or education about stunting.
