Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 guru matematika di SMP Negeri di Kota Samarinda, dan objeknya adalah kemampuan guru mengintegrasikan TPACK dalam pembelajaran matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari (1) mentranskrip data pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang terkumpul, (2) menelaah video rekaman kegiatan pembelajaran, dan hasil observasi selama pembelajaran; (3) melakukan reduksi data; (4) menyusun dalam satuan-satuan yang selanjutnya dikategorisasikan dengan membuat coding, (5) menganalisis kemampuan guru mengintegrasikan TPACK dalam pembelajaran Matematika, (6) menganalisis hal-hal yang menarik, dan (7) penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa, kemampuan guru Matematika SMP di Kota Samarinda dalam mengintegrasikan TPACK dalam pembelajaran matematika terdiri dari kategori amat baik, baik dan kurang. Secara umum, kendala yang dialami guru dalam pengintegrasian TPACK berkaitan dengan dukungan sarana/prasana, di antaranya LCD yang terbatas jumlahnya dan akses wi-fi yang tidak merata. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi peneliti selanjutnya terkait kemampuan guru mengintegrasikan TPACK dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Guru, TPACK, Pembelajaran Matematika Abstract: This research is an exploratory descriptive study with a qualitative approach, which aims to find out and describe the ability of teachers to integrate Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) in mathematics learning in junior high school. The subjects of this study were 10 mathematics teachers at public junior high schools in Samarinda City, and the object was the ability of teachers to integrate TPACK in mathematics learning. Data collection techniques used observation and interview techniques. The research instruments were observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique consists of (1) transcribing the collected learning implementation data, (2) reviewing video recordings of learning activities, and observations during learning; (3) reducing data; (4) compiling in units which are then categorized by making coding, (5) analyzing the ability of teachers to integrate TPACK in learning Mathematics, (6) analyzing interesting things, and (7) drawing conclusions. From the analysis, it was concluded that teachers' ability to integrate TPACK in mathematics learning in junior high schools consisted of excellent, good and poor categories. In general, the obstacles experienced by teachers in integrating TPACK are related to facilities/premises support, including the limited number of LCDs and uneven wi-fi access. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for further researchers related to the ability of teachers to integrate TPACK in mathematics learning. Keywords: Teacher Ability, TPACK, Mathematics Learning

Abstract

Perubahan budaya dan gaya hidup generasi Z, yang memerlukan pendekatan baru dalam mendisiplinkan siswa tanpa menggunakan hukuman fisik atau pendekatan militer. Tujuan utama pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada guru mengenai prinsip disiplin positif sebagai alternatif untuk mengelola perilaku siswa secara lebih humanis, tanpa kekerasan atau penghukuman. Metode yang digunakan meliputi lokakarya dengan teknik coaching yang diawali dengan survey lapangan dan sosialisasi, kegiatan lokakarya serta pendampingan dan evaluasi yang merupakan upaya keberlanjutan hingga tahap implementasi. Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk mengedepankan pendekatan humanis dalam menindak perilaku siswa, serta mendorong perubahan pola pikir siswa tanpa menggunakan sanksi fisik atau kekerasan. Hasil evaluasi pemahaman guru secara skor rata-rata pada tes awal sebesar 66.47 dan meningkat pada tes akhir sebesar 72.33 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pemahaman peserta lokakarya dalam hal ini guru PJOK di Kota Palu mengalami peningkatan mengenai konsep disiplin positif dengan  dan telah di implementasikan di sekolah masing-masing. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka hendaknya ke depan kegiatan dilakukan dengan waktu yang lebih lama sehingga dapat melihat efek terhadap siswa bukan hanya pada tataran implementasi pada guru.

Abstract

Integrating writing instruction with local cultural elements is essential for improving literacy outcomes that resonate with students' lived experiences and cultural identities. However, field observations reveal that such integration remains underutilized in many educational contexts, including at SD Negeri Dinoyo 2 Malang, East Java—a school situated in a region known for its ceramic industry. This classroom action research aimed to enhance students' writing skills using the culturally rooted strategy titled "Dinoyo Ceramics and I." Conducted over two cycles with 25 students from Class 5A, the study began by introducing students to Dinoyo ceramic products through physical artifacts and visual media showcasing their historical significance. Students were then encouraged to describe these items in terms of their appeal, function, and value as souvenirs or treasured objects. Based on this exposure, students generated writing ideas under the theme "Dinoyo Ceramics and I," which they first organized into outlines and then developed into full compositions. In the second cycle, imaginative elements were incorporated to enrich the outlines, and students were guided to present each idea in a well-structured paragraph. This approach enabled students to creatively weave personal experiences into compelling narratives that retained Dinoyo ceramics as a central motif. The strategy sparked greater engagement, as students connected deeply with a topic rooted in their cultural environment. The findings highlight the importance of recognizing students’ everyday experiences as meaningful content for writing. Thus, educators should consider incorporating local cultural themes into writing instruction to build more relevant, motivating, and expressive learning experiences.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted to improve students’ learning outcomes in performing the forward roll skill in floor gymnastics through the implementation of peer tutoring. The study involved 36 eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Palu and was carried out in two cycles following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which included the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation sheets and performance tests based on predetermined indicators of motor skill achievement. The results showed that prior to the intervention, only 40% of students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC), with an average score of 70.25. After the implementation of peer tutoring, the percentage of mastery increased to 50% (M = 74.25) in Cycle I, and further improved to 88.9% (M = 82.25) in Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that peer tutoring effectively enhances students’ conceptual understanding, confidence, and motor skill performance in gymnastics. This research contributes to physical education by highlighting the pedagogical novelty of peer tutoring in basic motor skill learning, which has been underexplored in similar contexts.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the motivation of students to play volleyball at SMP Negeri 3 Bungku Timur, Morowali Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of motivation among students who play volleyball at SMP Negeri 3 Bungku Timur, Morowali Regency. The sample in this study consisted of 43 people. This study used the total sampling technique. The data collection technique used a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, which was analyzed to draw conclusions through the calculation of the data. The data obtained was analysed using statistical analysis techniques. The results of this study show that 39 students have a very high motivation to play volleyball, with a percentage range of 81.25% to 100%. and four students have motivation in playing volleyball, which is categorised as High with a percentage range of (62.49% - 81.24%). Therefore, it can be concluded that student motivation in playing volleyball at SMP Negeri 3 Bungku Timur, Morowali Regency, is Very High with a percentage range of (81.25% - 100%).

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia conditions (increased blood glucose) caused by abnormalities in insulin secretion, abnormalities in the action of insulin or perhaps both. Red Ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) contains alkaloids, flavanoids, tannins, saponins, gingerol and shagol which have blood glucose-lowering, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antitumor effects. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Red Ginger extract against decreasing blood glucose levels in mice (Mus musculus). This research is a type of experimental study conducted to determine the effectiveness of red ginger extract against decreasing blood glucose levels in mice. This study was conducted using alloxane as a diabetes inducer, Na CMC 1% as a negative control, glibenclamide as a positive control, extract dose 2 %, 5 % and 7 % orally for 7 days in 5 groups of test animals. The results of the study obtained 1% Na-CMC results showed a percentage decrease, namely -16.32% and -103.03%. In the group of mice given Red Ginger extract 2% showed a percentage decrease, namely 105.57% and 102.04%. The group of mice given Red Ginger extract 5% showed a percentage decrease of 105.83% and 86.84%. The group of mice given 7% Red Ginger extract showed a percentage decrease, namely 67.34% and 97.45%. The group of mice suspended by glibenclamide showed a percentage decrease of 73.05% and 66.66%. It can be concluded that the administration of Red Ginger extract has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels in aloxane-induced mice at concentrations of 2%,5% and 7% with significant values (p < 0.05) indicating a difference and obtained the most effective concentration in lowering blood glucose levels in mice (Mus musculus) is a concentration of 7%.

Abstract

The tendency to use herbal ingredients has entered the world of beauty leading to increased research on cosmetic and plant formulations used to be cosmetic active substances. There are many plants that can be used, one of which is the Moringa plant which is considered sacred because it has many benefits. This study aims to determine whether Moringa leaf extract with variations in TEA concentrations of 2.5%, 3%, and 3.5% is formulated into lotions to produce an effective, stable, and safe cream. This type of research is experimental; physical quality testing is carried out before and after the storage conditions are accelerated (Freeze-thaw), including organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, viscosity tests, pH tests, dispersion tests, and emulsion type tests. Moringa Leaf Extract can be formulated into lotion preparations with variations in TEA concentrations of 2.5%, 3%, and 3.5%. The results of the physical quality test show that all formulas meet the requirements of physical qualification. Third, the dosage formulation of Moringa leaf extract lotion (Moringa oleifera L.) with variations in TEA emulsifying concentrations of 2.5%, 3%, and 3.5% based on physical quality stability tests all meet the requirements.

Abstract

Fig leaves (Ficus carica L.) is a plant that has antidiabetic properties, because fig leaves contain alkaloid compounds, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols, saponins, terpenoids, and steroids. This study aims to determine the extract of fig leaves (Ficus carica L.) in lowering blood glucose in mice (Mus musculus). Extraction is carried out by maceration with 96% ethanol solvent, then evaporated using Rotavapor. This study used alloxane as a diabetes inducer, the dose of fig leaf extract tested was 5%, 10% and 15% given orally. Observations were made on day 3 and day 7. As a positive control used Glibenclamide and Na. CMC 1% w/v as a negative control. The results showed an average percent reduction in blood glucose levels for negative controls by 18.6%, for 5% extracts by 29.1%, for 10% extracts by 46.6%, for 15% extracts by 83.9% and for positive controls by 45.8%. The results of research have been obtained that the administration of Fig Leaf extract (Ficus carica L.) is proven to reduce blood glucose levels in mice (Mus musculus) induced by alloxane at concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%. In the One-way ANOVA test, it shows a significant value (p < 0.05) showing a significant difference in each contract. It can be concluded that fig leaves can be a potential alternative treatment for diabetes mellitus with the right concentration can be an effective and natural treatment option.

Abstract

Toothpaste is a preparation whose use aims to clean the mucous membranes of the mouth. Anna's apple is a fruit that contains malic acid which has the ability to whiten teeth. Kaffir lime contains essential oils that have effects as antibacterial, antifungal and refreshing. This study aims to formulate herbal toothpaste preparations a combination of Anna Apple Skin extract (Malus domestica) and Purut Orange Peel extract (Citrus hystrix) and determine the physical quality of the preparation made. This type of research is experimental research using maceration methods with physical quality stability testing, namely organoleptic observations, homogeneity, pH, foam height, viscosity, and dispersion. In this study, two herbal toothpaste formulations were made with variations in the concentration of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate as a foaming agent in toothpaste. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the combination of the two extracts can be formulated into herbal toothpaste preparations and based on the results of physical quality tests, both formulations with variations in the concentration of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate 1.5% and 2.5% meet the requirements of the established standards.

Abstract

Kulit Buah Langsat (Lansium domesticum L) memiliki senyawa yang dapat dipakai sebagai tabir surya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai SPF dan aktivitas tabir surya Ekstrak Kulit Buah Langsat (Lansium domesticum L). Maserasi merupakan teknik ekstraksi yang digunakan. Spektrofotometri UV-Vis digunakan untuk menghitung nilai SPF. Ekstrak Kulit Buah Langsat (Lansium domesticum L) dibuat dalam etanol 96 persen pada konsentrasi 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm, dan 2500 ppm. Menghasilkan nilai SPF pada konsentrasi 500 ppm 1,78, 1000 ppm 4,5 (Minimum), 1500 ppm 6,23 (Ekstra), 2000 ppm 8,58 ppm (Maksimum), dan 2500 ppm 10,42. (Maksimum). Karena nilai SPFnya, Ekstrak Kulit Buah Langsat (Lansium domesticum L) berpotensi untuk dipakai sebagai tabir surya termasuk dalam rentang kategori minimal-maksimum.
