Abstract

Vocabulary is the basic of English that is very important and difficult to master. Vocabulary will help students to master the four skills of language. Therefore, teacher have to make creative and interesting a way for teaching vocabulary.This study concern about how cue card and cooperative learning is used for teaching vocabulary. This study focused on theuse cue card as learning media and cooperative learning as learning method. The subject of this study was seven grade student of SMP N 41 Semarang. The aim of this study was to describe the implementation of cue card with cooperative learning in teaching vocabulary to the students in the classroom. This study was a qualitative case research. The observation, questionnaire, interview, and document analysis was used to collect the data. The questionnaire was given at the end of the study. The observation sheet used to monitor the students and teacher?s activities during the teaching learning process. The intrview was done at the end of the meeting.Based on the result, the researcher concluded that the use of cue card for teaching English vocabulary is interesting, effective, efficient, and arffordable. In addition, cooperative learning was helpfull to increase the student?s confidence.   Keywords: Cue Card, Cooperative Learning, English Vocabulary

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-CoV-2 is a new type of coronavirus that has never been previously identified in humans. Common symptoms of COVID-19 infection include symptoms of acute respiratory problems such as fever, cough and shortness of bresath. One of the obstacles in implementing health protocols is that there are still people who do not believe in the existence of the COVID-19 disease, so many people do not comply with the 5M health protocol. The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of the 5M Health Protocol by the community in Bakubakulu Village, Palolo District, Sigi Biromaru Regency. Descriptive research type. The research variable is the implementation of the 5M health protocol. The data used is primary and secondary data. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. The population in this study was 619 people and the sample was 41 people. The results of this research show that 68.3% of people implement the 5M health protocol and 31.7% do not implement the 5M health protocol. The conclusion of this research is that more and more people are implementing the 5M health protocol in Bakubakulu Village, Palolo District, Sigi Biromaru Regency. It is recommended that the Bakubakulu village government be able to discipline people who still have not implemented the 5M health protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19, people can regularly look for information in print media.

Abstract

Melalui studi ini, diharapkan bisa didapatkan wawasan yang lebih mendalam mengenai penggunaan Loose Part sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang efisien dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan belajar anak-anak yang masih berusia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak usia dini melalui metode belajar dengan Loose Part. PTK dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Kenaikan yang signifikan, terutama antara siklus I dan II, menggarisbawahi pentingnya perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam metode pembelajaran. Kolaborasi yang erat antara pendidik dan orang tua berperan krusial dalam mendukung dan meningkatkan minat belajar anak. Selain itu, pendekatan melalui metode penggunaan Loose Part dalam pembelajaran membantu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi anak-anak. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode belajar dengan menggunakan media Loose Part dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris tentang efektivitas metode belajar dengan Loose Part dan menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pendidik dan orang tua.

Abstract

Background: The glycemic index is a value that indicates the ability of a carbohydrate-containing foods in improving blood sugar. Previous research also done extensive research on the glycemic index of a food, but every meal we consume some foods and through various treatment processes This study will calculate the glycemic index prepared foods namely pecel distinguished from varieties of rice such as rice Ciherang that have a low glycemic index (55), brown rice has a medium glycemic index (59) and Sintanur rice has a high glycemic index (91). Based on this background, researchers interested in researching on the difference in value of glycemic index and glycemic load of rice pcel of three kinds of rice. Objective: To determine differences in the value of glycemic index and glycemic load on Ciherangpecel of rice, red rice, and rice Sintanur. Methods: This study used an experimental research design. There were three treatment groups each group consisting of 9 people. After 10 hours of fasting blood glucose measurements were taken and given 50 grams of carbohydrates such as white bread 95 grams. Blood glucose levels were measured again at minute 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120. An interval of one week, the subjects were given pecelciherang rice, red rice and rice Sintanur, subsequently re-measured blood glucose as the first treatment. Results: The value of rice IG pecelCiherang rice was 86.67, 86.69 pecel brown rice and rice pecelSintanur 90.59. Pecel glycemic load of 43.82 Ciherang rice, red rice 43.95 and 45.38 Sintanurpecel rice.

Abstract

Minimnya pemahaman masyarakat pedesaan terhadap isu kesehatan dan rendahnya akses terhadap layanan dasar menjadi tantangan utama dalam peningkatan kualitas hidup. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di pedesaan melalui pemenuhan dasar-dasar kesehatan berdasarkan hasil kajian prioritas masalah di Desa Bunga dan Desa Ue Rani, Kecamatan Palolo, Kabupaten Sigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE) melalui survei, observasi, FGD, dan penyuluhan dengan sasaran lima fokus utama: pemanfaatan tempat sampah, pengenalan stunting, partisipasi posyandu, pemanfaatan TOGA, serta edukasi penyakit hipertensi dan asam urat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tiga program mencapai target 100%, yaitu edukasi sampah, stunting, dan penyakit degeneratif, sementara dua lainnya, posyandu dan TOGA, mencapai 75% dan 80%. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan partisipatif dalam membangun kesadaran kesehatan komunitas. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat, serta menjadi fondasi awal bagi upaya intervensi kesehatan berbasis masyarakat yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Introduction: The increase in the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Indonesia, including in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi Province, has prompted the need to strengthen early detection services through the POSBINDU NCD Program. Objective: To identify obstacles to the implementation of POSBINDU in the working area of the Kaleke Community Health Center. Method: Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on the framework of input, process, and output aspects. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with four key informants involved in POSBINDU PTM. Result and Discussion: The results of the study indicate that the constraints include limited funding that is entirely dependent on Health Operational Assistance (BOK), low quality of human resources due to a lack of ongoing training, and facilities without adequate maintenance support. In addition, the implementation of POSBINDU activities has not been consistent with standard operating procedures and the simultaneous use of manual and digital recording systems. Furthermore, low participation among the productive age group is attributed to rigid schedules and non-strategic activity locations, compounded by equipment limitations that affect the completeness of services. Conclusions: This study concludes that POSBINDU PTM has limitations in terms of structural readiness, human resource quality, and adequate logistical support.
