Abstract

Behavioral counseling is one of the counseling approaches used to change individual behavior. This paper aims to describe how behavioral counseling views humans and personality as well as outline the goals, processes and techniques in behavioral counseling. The method used is a literature review by collecting various information from relevant sources regarding behavioral counseling. With behavioral counseling, clients are expected to create new behaviors, eliminate inappropriate behaviors and strengthen and maintain desired behaviors.

Abstract

Elementary school is a formal educational institution for children that aims to produce optimal development in each individual according to their abilities or potential. In realizing its goals, therefore, it is necessary to have integration by all aspects contained in the world of education and one of them is counseling guidance. The method in this research is a literature study is a research that collects a number of literature in the form of books, journals or magazines related to counseling guidance in elementary schools. Teachers who handle problems for students are class teachers and do not have a specific program in counseling guidance services.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the importance of procuring infrastructure in guidance and counseling to support the successful implementation of guidance and counseling services to ensure the implementation of these services in a cost-effective and efficient manner. This research uses a literature review method that collects various information about guidance and counseling infrastructure facilities from various books, journals and websites as research sources. Infrastructure facilities are needed in the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. Because with the infrastructure, counselors can collect data on student needs, process data properly, develop programs according to student needs, store data safely, and carry out services according to student needs obtained from data that has been processed and conduct follow-up on the results of these services, students will feel comfortable and confident when they decide to attend counseling sessions or even just join guidance and counseling groups when there is a comprehensive and well-organized infrastructure.

Abstract

Transactional analysis (AT) is one type of transactional therapy that can be used in individual therapy. However, it differs from other AT therapies in that it is more suitable for group therapy. Mainly because it is a conventional and optional treatment. Relationship is the connection between one person and another. The factors evaluated include communication and content. In this recovery, the relationship between client and consultant is viewed as a transaction (interaction, work, research), where each participant engages the other as a function of some goal.

Abstract

This article discusses how to implement the REBT counseling approach to overcome the trauma of child victims of domestic violence. Trauma can be said to be a psychological symptom that can cause children to be afraid as a result of the events they experience and cause the child to imagine events that make them afraid, anxious, anxious or psychologically disturbed so that they need help to overcome it. One of the REBT counseling approaches is an approach whose application can rationalize children's thoughts that were previously irrational to become rational. Counseling with the REBT approach as one methode to overcome the trauma of child victims of domestic violence which includes discussions such as Trauma, what is domestic violence, the REBT approach, the role of the counselor and the implementation of the REBT approach to overcome trauma in child victims of domestic violence in counseling.
