Abstract

Sistem propulsi waterjet sering dipilih dalam menggantikan baling-baling konvensional untuk kapal yang membutuhkan kecepatan tinggi, draf dangkal, daya propulsi terlindungi, kemampuan manuver tinggi di semua kecepatan, kebisingan rendah dalam aplikasi militer, dan getaran rendah. Cara kerja dari waterjet thruster ialah menggerakkan kapal dengan mengeluarkan tekanan pada fluida yang dihasilkan dari bantuan propeller sehingga kapal dapat bergerak, dan arah aliran air akan menuju ke belakang namun pergerakan kapal menuju ke depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang paling berpengaruh dari variasi jumlah blade inlet turbo yaitu 11, 12, 13, 14,  dan 15 blade inlet turbo  terhadap gaya dorong tertinggi pada sebuah prototype waterjet thruster. Penelitian ini menggunakan filament ST PLA (Super Tough Poly Lactic Acid) sebagai material part 3D printing pada komponen waterjet thruster. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan waterjet thruster menggunakan konsep mesin tempel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya dorong terendah  mencapai 0.71 N pada variasi jumlah blade inlet turbo 11, sedangkan untuk gaya dorong tertinggi mencapai 1.79 N pada variasi jumlah blade inlet turbo 14.

Abstract

Efforts to improve Indonesia's maritime security continue to be increased by carrying out maritime security operations using a patrol fleet. The ability to maneuver well is needed by a ship to carry out encryption and security against enemies. This research aims to find a combination of Waterjet Thrusther ship propulsion system components that produces the most optimal thrust. The Waterjet Thrusther prototype was made using a 3D printing machine with FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology using ST-PLA (Super Tough Polylactic Acid) filament. This research uses the Taguchi method to create an experimental design. The variables used are the number of turbo inlet blades, impeller type, and the number of turbo outlet blades. The test was carried out using tools in the form of a test vessel weighing 8.06 kg with an electric motor drive engine. The results of this test obtained the highest thrust force in the 2nd variation using a 3 blade type 2 impeller, 13 blade turbo inlet, and 13 blade turbo outlet with the lowest thrust force value of 2.231775 N. The 9th variation produced the lowest thrust force of 0,711225 N using Inlet Turbo 15 blades, Impeller 3 blade type 3, and Outlet Turbo 15 blades.

Abstract

Bangka Belitung Islands Province which consists of two islands, namely Bangka Island and Belitung Island, with such a geographical position, transportation is needed to facilitate connecting the two islands. The innovation of 3D printing used in transportation is in the form of a Waterjet Thruster using ST PLA (Super Tough Polylactic Acid) filament as a material for making parts of the Waterjet Thruster in the form of Inlets, Impeller, and Turbo Outlets. The Taguchi method is used to randomize the levels and factors in this test so that later the right combination can be found. In the tests that have been carried out, the highest results were found in experiment 8 with variations of 13 blade inlets, impeller 3 blade Type 2 and 9 Blade Outlet with thrust of 2.226 Newton while for the lowest value in Experiment 7 with variations of 13 Blade Inlet, Impeller 3 Blade Type 1 and Outlet 13 Blade with thrust 1.245 Newton.

Abstract

Waterjet thruster merupakan sistem penggerak sebuah perahu yang menghasilkan daya dorong sebagai pengganti baling-baling yang konvensional. Waterjet thruster memiliki impeller sebagai pendorong utama untuk menggerakakan perahu diperairan, Dalam penelitian ini  akan dilakukan pengujian prototype waterjet thruster dengan diameter 1 inch dengan variasi jumlah blade impeller, variasi 3 blade, 4 blade dan 5 blade, masing-masing 1. Sedangkan inlet dan outlet dengan variasi 9 blade,  filament yang digunakan  yaitu filamen ST-PLA berdiameter 1,75 untuk mencetak prototype outlet, inlet dan impeller, didapatkan gaya dorong dengan variasi jumlah blade yang berbeda. Sehingga variasi jumlah blade impeller berpengaruh terhadap gaya dorong yang dihasilkan. Variasi jumlah blade impeller dengan gaya dorong tertinggi dihasilkan oleh variasi 3 blade 14960255 N, dan hasil gaya dorong terendah  pada variasi 6 blade 0.613125 N.  Artinya semakin sedikit blade impeller yang digunakan , maka gesekan yang terjadi  antara blade dengan fluida semakin sedikut sehingga daya dorng yang dihasilkan dapat maksimal.

Abstract

Animal feed is an important factor that must be considered to increase the productivity of providing green fodder both in quality and quantity, where in the provision of cattle feed is still done manually using hands with the help of machetes and sickles to chop the feed, especially for cattle breeders of the Puding Jaya II Farmer Group in Puding Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency. The purpose of this study is to assist in the processing of livestock feed conventionally or manually by designing a chopping machine so that it can make its own cemboran and chopped feed using available materials such as special grass leaves for cattle feed or oil palm leaves so that they are easy for cattle to chew. The method used starts from designing a chopping machine that can be used as a chopping tool for raw materials for livestock feed in the form of odot plants, Indigofera, Chinese petai, jackfruit leaves, elephant grass, palm fronds and leaves which are favorite green fodder for cattle so that it is expected to lighten the burden and make it easier for cattle breeders to get livestock feed that is ready to be eaten by cattle. in an effort to increase livestock feed production can increase as expected to reach 200-300 percent.
