Abstract

This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques using library research or library research. The purpose of this study is to find out, examine and reveal problems regarding the conversion of beggars into a profession. Poverty in Indonesia has increased significantly which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. This has an impact on reducing or terminating human resource jobs and making them unemployed. Limited skills and less than optimal business makes their economy weaken and they finally try other ways to make ends meet by begging. The feeling of being happy to get money without working hard gives rise to new habits and makes them feel at home to continue it even to the point of cheating. People's awareness and trust has decreased, creating doubts about whether or not to help beggars. In Islam itself, begging is the wrong way to meet the demands of life. Islam teaches to always try hard and the need for an attitude of mutual help both in actions or actions to reduce the existence of beggars.

Abstract

Economic growth that continues to grow rapidly from time to time has a significant impact on the pattern of competition between companies, especially in the manufacturing sector. This competition arises from globalization and the existence of a free market economy caused by the many new companies with similar products as competitors, this triggers competition for market share and the struggle for consumers. Therefore, a strategy is needed in analyzing competition patterns so that companies are able to survive and thrive in the face of competitive market competition. This journal article discusses the strategy and analysis of industrial competition with a case study of PT Unilever Indonesia. In the Uniliver company, there is no doubt that consumer goods are currently very competitive. Several large companies compete fiercely to reach the global market. So PT Unilever must consider a competitive strategy plan. In addition to the main players in the market, Unilever has many other smaller competitors who compete with it in a narrow and specific product space. The discussion in this article explains that there are various strategies for PT Unilever Indonesia in facing competition between companies in the manufacturing sector, including Promotion/Marketing Strategy, Sustainability-Based Strategy, Community Engagement Strategy, Information Technology Strategy, Functional Strategy, and Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM).

Abstract

egiatan ini mengusung tema seminar kewirausahaan dengan tujuan meningkatkan inovasi dan pendapatan masyarakat desa Bowong Cindea melalui Seminar Kewirausahaan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada 5 Februari 2025. Fokus utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat melalui kewirausahaan, sehingga dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tim pengabdian, tingkat kreativitas masyarakat masih tergolong rendah, karena mereka lebih berfokus pada hasil pertanian”. Tim menginisiasi seminar kewirausahaan sebagai salah satu metode dalam Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan warga dalam mengembangkan usaha mandiri. Penyampaian materi dilakukan secara menarik dan mudah dipahami. Metode ini diterapkan agar peserta lebih aktif, termasuk diskusi kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil survei sebelum dan sesudah seminar, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep kewirausahaan, strategi bisnis, serta pentingnya inovasi dalam usaha. Sebelum seminar, sebagian besar peserta masih memiliki pandangan terbatas mengenai peluang usaha di luar sektor pertanian. Beberapa peserta mulai merancang ide usaha berbasis sumber daya lokal, seperti pembuatan produk olahan dari hasil pertanian dan kerajinan tangan
