Abstract

Nowadays, many Islamic boarding schools have been found as a place to pursue education in the frame of Islam like mushrooms in winter. One of them is Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School. The famous name Darul Falah to various regions certainly cannot be separated from the roles and ways of various parties, in the form of the efforts of the asatidz and the contribution of students combined with the utilization of existing resources, such as extracurricular activities. This research has the aim of knowing how much extracurricular roles and their influence on the development of Pondok Pesantrean Darul Falah. The method used in this research is qualitative method, through interviews and literature review as data collection techniques, while the data analysis used is descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that, in fact, extracurricular activities are very helpful and have a positive impact on the development of Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School. This is evidenced by several things. Although it is not a mandatory program, extracurricular activities play an important role in the development of Pesantren Darul Falah.

Abstract

In the context of language learning, translation is very important. Translating hiwar texts is often a challenge for students in class IX-2, especially in understanding the context of the intended meaning in a conversational sentence. This study aims to find out the problems faced by students when translating hiwar texts in Arabic language learning. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive analysis as the approach. Data were collected using literature review, interviews and participatory observation, and the data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that students face two translation problems, namely linguistic and non-linguistic problems.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges in learning Arabic in schools and offer solutions through the Task-Based Learning (TBL) approach, cooperative learning, and the use of digital technology. A qualitative approach is used with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations are conducted to observe the practice of learning Arabic in the classroom, interviews are conducted with teachers, students, and parents to explore their perspectives on the challenges faced, while documentation is used to collect supporting data such as syllabus and evaluation results. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the task-based approach and student collaboration are effective in improving speaking and listening skills, as well as increasing student motivation and engagement. This approach creates a dynamic and relevant learning environment, encouraging students to be more active in using Arabic in everyday life.
