Abstract

Humans always strive to develop their potential. One way to develop this potential is through lifelong education and philosophy. Education is given or held in order to develop all human potential in a positive direction. Because by continuing to develop ourselves, we will undoubtedly become complete human beings with the various potentials that we have. What differentiates humans from other creatures is science, because with science humans can always differentiate between good and bad, right and wrong and so on. Philosophy and religion are essentially two different domains, in fact there are often differences of opinion between the two, but in fact the two are things that are interconnected and combined to understand the nature of science in both. The research method used is a causal-effectual analysis model using a rational approach based on the results of a literature review. The aim of the research is to find out and how to develop the potential that exists in humans related to education, namely, in knowledge, science, philosophy and religion. Knowledge should be something very vital that must receive attention in order to lead to a better life. Knowledge itself has various forms in the form of ordinary knowledge, religious knowledge, philosophical knowledge and scientific knowledge.

Abstract

Of the many students today, many of them have forgotten their obligations as God's creatures. It is believed that bad things will happen to students if this is allowed to continue. Therefore, it is important to instill the principles of moral education in every student. The aim of this research is to find out incorporation of creation-based morality into students' daily lives. This research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology using a literature review and questionnaire. Thirty students registered from state and private universities in semesters 1 to 8 were used as research subjects. Morality derives its etymology from the words character, behavior and manners. For God, morality refers to what is right and appropriate to do.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of mahram in long distance travel and how Islamic principles can be applied in the face of ongoing societal changes. The background of this research arises from the growing phenomenon of long-distance travel, whether for work, education, or religious purposes, often involving the participation of women. On the other hand, advancements in technology and global mobility have also influenced views and practices related to mahram, particularly in the context of Islamic law. The objective of this study is to explore the understanding of mahram in the context of long-distance travel and analyze how Islamic principles can remain relevant and be applied despite the changing times. This research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, which includes an analysis of religious texts, contemporary fatwas, and scholars' perspectives on long-distance travel and mahram. The findings indicate that, despite the dynamics of social life, the principle of mahram remains essential in safeguarding the honor and safety of individuals, especially women, during long-distance travel. However, a more flexible understanding of the application of mahram has emerged in the modern era, considering factors such as security, technology, and the existing social context. This discussion aims to provide insights into the balance between upholding Islamic teachings and addressing the challenges of travel in the face of modernity.

Abstract

Humans as God's special creation indeed have a life background that is full of secrets. Humans are God's most potential creatures. Education is very important in human life and cannot be separated from all aspects. The aim of this research is to determine the development of human potential from an Islamic education perspective. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the type of research is library research, namely research through library or literature review. The data source in this research is primary data, namely books that directly discuss the problem being studied, namely theoretical studies or literature reviews on the Development of Human Potential in the Perspective of Islamic Education. The results of the discussion of this research are that the term education in the Islamic context generally refers to the Koran and Hadith. There are three terms, namely al-tarbiyah, al-ta'dib and al-ta'lim. Islamic education in general is a systematic effort to help students grow and develop through self-actualization of potential based on the moral principles of the Koran and Hadith.
