Abstract

In the world of education, enterprise architecture can be used to help the governance of an educational institution, one of which is a school. The XYZ Foundation has an organizational structure starting from the lowest level to the top to be able to carry out its business processes as an educational institution. By implementing enterprise architecture, it is hoped that operational processes will be in accordance with their respective functions and fields, have a collaborating IS and IT ecosystem so that they have the right output for data that is processed automatically. Students can get all the information they need, just by accessing the Student Portal. So that the XYZ Foundation can achieve the desired organizational vision to provide good services for its students so that they can be ready to compete with other competitors. The aim of this research is to propose an enterprise architecture design to the XYX Foundation, so that the use of technology within the school can be managed well and in accordance with school operations. The research method uses a qualitative approach, which consists of the stages of identifying problems and needs, collecting data, and adopting the TOGAF Framework. The result of this research is to produce an enterprise architecture design using the TOGAF Framework method which has been adapted to the problem conditions and needs of the XYX School Foundation. The conclusion of this research is that by implementing the enterprise architecture design that has been proposed, there are several benefits for the XYX School Foundation, such as as a guide for implementing IT governance, and helping to align IT governance with organizational goals. ABSTRAKDi dalam dunia pendidikan enterprise architecture dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membantu tata kelola sebuah institusi pendidikan yakni salah satunya adalah sekolah. Yayasan sekolah XYZ mempunyai struktur organisasi mulai dari tingkat paling bawah hingga paling atas untuk dapat menjalankan proses bisnisnya sebagai institusi pendidikan. Dengan menerapkan enterprise architecture diharapkan proses-proses operasional sudah sesuai dengan fungsi dan bidang masing-masing, Memiliki ekosistem sistem informasi (SI) dan teknik informasi (TI) yang berkolaborasi sehingga memiliki luaran yang tepat atas data yang diolah secara otomatis. Siswa dapat mendapatkan semua informasi yang dibutuhkan, dengan hanya mengakses portal siswa. Sehingga Yayasan sekolah XYZ dapat mencapai visi organisasi yang diinginkan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik bagi siswa-siswanya sehingga dapat siap bersaing dengan kompetitor lainnya. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengusulkan sebuah rancangan enterprise architecture kepada Yayasan sekolah XYX, agar dalam pemanfaatan teknologi dilingkup sekolah dapat dikelola dengan baik dan sesuai dengan operasional sekolah. Metode dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana terdiri dari tahapan identifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan, pengumpulan data, dan adopsi TOGAF Framework. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan rancangan enterprise architecture dengan menggunakan metode TOGAF Framework yang sudah disesuaikan dengan kondisi permasalahan dan kebutuhan Yayasan sekolah XYX. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menerapkan rancangan enterprise architecture yang telah diusulkan, bahwa terdapat beberapa manfaat untuk Yayasan sekolah XYX, seperti sebagai panduan untuk menerapkan tata kelola TI, dan membantu menyelaraskan antara tata kelola TI dan tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of conventional teaching methods and ChatGPT in an introductory Algorithms and Programming course at the university level. ChatGPT, an AI-based NLP technology, assisted students in understanding course material through automated responses. However, its effectiveness relative to conventional methods required further evaluation, particularly concerning motivation, interaction, self-regulation, instructional structure, and the instructor's role. Using a sample of 10 students for pretest-posttest analysis, 38 respondents for the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), and accuracy analysis via prompt engineering, the results revealed that conventional methods better enhanced motivation and interaction. ChatGPT demonstrated strengths in attractiveness (1.982) and efficiency (2.053) but scored lower in accuracy (1.395) and novelty (1.053). Prompt engineering significantly improved response accuracy when tailored to learning modules, highlighting the importance of precise inputs. The findings suggested that while ChatGPT excelled as a supplementary tool, it was less effective as a standalone teaching method. This study contributed to the growing field of educational technology by providing insights into the integration of AI tools in learning environments.

Abstract

This research investigates contextual ITSM adaptation across educational levels through a comparative case study of a university and secondary school in Jakarta. Using qualitative methodology with interviews, observations, and document analysis, we examined implementation patterns at University X (5,000 students, 12 IT staff) and SMA Y (450 students, 2 IT staff). Results show universities achieved semi-formal ITSM maturity levels 2-3 while secondary schools operated at pragmatic levels 1-2, reflecting resource disparities where universities allocated 4% versus 1.5% of operational budgets to IT services. Key findings reveal persistent perception gaps where academic staff predominantly view IT as "repair function" rather than strategic service, with most service requests still submitted through informal channels instead of standardized procedures. Three primary implementation challenges emerged: resource limitations, structural complexity, and cultural resistance. Based on these findings, we propose a phased transformation model (Stabilization, Standardization, Development) accommodating "layered maturity" - allowing institutions to operate at different maturity levels across ITSM domains rather than uniform advancement. This research contributes a contextual ITSM implementation framework bridging industry standards with educational realities, providing practical guidance for institutions balancing digital transformation aspirations with resource constraints, particularly relevant for developing countries facing similar educational technology challenges.

Abstract

Pelaporan inventori bahan baku merupakan komponen penting untuk memastikan ketersediaan barang secara efisien dan mencegah kekurangan atau kelebihan stok. Berdasarkan wawancara yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan beberapa permasalahan, yaitu pelaksanaan pelaporan yang masih manual serta belum adanya memonitoring inventori secara real-time. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi yang jelas dalam mencatat, memonitor, dan menganalisis data inventori secara real-time. Metode Waterfall dipilih karena pendekatannya yang sistematis dan tahapan yang terstruktur serta sistem yang dihasilkan akan menjadi baik kerena pelaksanaan nya di lakukan secara bertahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website mampu memberikan data stock bahan baku yang akurat dan efisien secara real-time. Sistem ini juga memberikan visualisasi data yang memudahkan analisis ketersedian stock bahan baku secara real-time. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan sistem informasi untuk pemilik Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang dapat memonitoring dan mengontrol ketersedian stock bahan baku untuk menghindari kehabisan stock.
