Abstract

This study aims to find out if the implementation of experiential learning can foster student independence and leadership in the context of Pancasila and Citizenship Education at Adhyaksa Junior High School Medan. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, the data collection method in this study uses interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the implementation of experiential learning at SMP Adhyaksa Medan is carried out by integrating practical activities that are relevant to students' daily lives into the PPKn curriculum. Challenges in the implementation of experiential learning in PPKn subjects at SMP Adhyaksa Medan include limited resources, such as inadequate facilities and teaching materials. Group project efforts, simulations, and reflective discussions help students develop self-reliance and leadership skills by providing them with opportunities to be directly involved, take responsibility, and lead in a variety of contexts relevant to civic education

Abstract

Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) adalah pertukaran mahasiswa selama satu semester dari satu klaster daerah ke klaster daerah lainnya yang memberikan pengalaman kebinekaan dan sistem alih kredit sebanyak 20 sks. Kementrian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi merilis program ini pada tahun 2021, seiring dengan banyaknya program yang ditawarkan pada Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka. Adapun manfaat yang didapat dari program PMM adalah mahasiswa dapat berjumpa dengan mahasiswa lain dari perguruan tinggi yang berbeda, mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dan mempelajari kebudayaan daerah lainnya melalui pembelajaran Modul Nusantara, dapat memperluas atau meningkatkan kompetensi akademiknya, dan dapat mengembangkan kepemimpinan, percaya diri dan kepekaan sosial. Kata kunci: Kegiatan kontribusi social, Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka, Abstract Independent Student Exchange (PMM) is a one-semester student exchange from one regional cluster to another, providing a diversity experience and a credit transfer system of 20 credits. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology released this program in 2021, in line with the many programs offered at the Independent Campus Learning Program. The benefits gained from the PMM program are that students can meet other students from different universities, gain direct experience and learn about other regional cultures through learning the Nusantara Module, can expand or improve their academic competence, and develop leadership, self-confidence, and social sensitivity.
