Abstract

The debate regarding the nature of revelation is a classic phenomenon that occurs especially among kalam scholars. In these debates, sometimes some try to find a middle way so as to find common ground (ikhtilāf tanawwu') so that the truth of an opinion does not mean blaming another opinion. However, sometimes there is no common ground (itkhtilaf taḍād) where an opinion cannot tolerate another opinion because it is contradictory and cannot be compromised. The author wishes to explain the etymology and terminology of revelation along with the process of revelation to the prophet. The author will also try to explain several expert views on the pronunciation and meaning of the Koran, along with the views of contemporary thinkers regarding the process of receiving revelation from the prophets. This research is included in the type of qualitative research, and the research data source perspective uses library research. Data collection techniques in this research include determining the problem, looking for verses related to al-Waḥy, exploring and comparing these verses with mu'tabar books, to extract common threads and analyzing the data using descriptive analysis as a way to resolve the problem, narrated and then analyzed using content analysis and linguistics. The results of this research explain the problems with the pronunciation of the Al-Qur'an; several scholars believe that the Al-Qur'an comes from Allah ﷻ both in terms of meaning and pronunciation. However, other opinions believe that the Qur'an is absolute and qaṭ'ī is only its meaning. Meanwhile, contemporary thinkers also have different opinions regarding the revelation of the Koran. Some tend to believe that revelation is obtained without effort. Some believe that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ received revelations through his spiritual journey since childhood.

Abstract

Social media is now an inseparable part of human life, along with technological advances, social media has also experienced a very significant development. In addition to producing positive effects with all the facilities offered, the development of social media also produces negative effects that must be watched out for. One of them is the birth of radical content. Departing from this problem, the author conducted this research in the hope of contributing to the prevention of cases of the spread of radical content in cyberspace (cyber radicalism) by taking inspiration from. Q.S. al-Maidah [5]: 2. This paper departs from two big questions, namely: first, how is the interpretation and contextualization of Q.S. al-Maidah [5]: 2 as the basic concept of reciprocal al-Qur'an?, secondly how is the implementation of Q.S. al-Maidah [5]: 2 as inspiration from cyber poskamling?. The method used in this research is the library study method. From the results of this study, the authors conclude that: (1) First, Q.S. Al-Maidah explains the prohibition of repaying evil with the same evil on the basis of revenge, on the contrary the verse commands to help each other in doing good. In the current post truth era, the verse can be understood as a call to humans to work hand in hand to counteract radical content (cyber radicalism) that creates divisions among society; and (2) concrete steps of implementing Q.S. al-Maidah [5]: 2 is by promoting cyber poskamling as one of the efforts to fight the attacks of radical content circulating in cyberspace, in addition to the government and its ministries making policies through presidential regulations and ministerial regulations, as well as law enforcement officers taking preventive actions. By establishing a cyber patrol, the public must also play an active role by establishing a cyber poskamling and reporting to the authorities if they find content or websites that are indicated to contain radical content and then legal action is taken by the competent authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

Abstract

Pendidikan dalam Islam tidak hanya mencakup transfer ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan akhlak. Ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an banyak memberikan petunjuk mengenai prinsip-prinsip pendidikan yang holistik. Dalam memahami ayat-ayat pendidikan tersebut, pendekatan hermeneutika dapat memberikan perspektif yang lebih mendalam, terutama pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Wilhelm Dilthey. Pendekatan hermeneutika Dilthey menekankan pemahaman subjektif terhadap teks dan konteks sosial serta historis yang melingkupinya. Dengan pisau analisis Dithley didapatkan kesimpulan antara lain bahwa pendidikan dalam Islam, sebagaimana yang tercermin dalam Q.S. al-Alaq: 1-5, tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek intelektual, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan akhlak yang mulia, yang harus terus ditanamkan dalam proses pendidikan masa kini.

Abstract

This study discusses the theological conflict arising from interpretational differences between Nusantara Ulama and Transnational Ulama in Indonesia. The researcher analyzes the paradigms and mainstream interpretations of the two Islamic typologies that have developed in Indonesia, namely Nusantara Ulama and Transnational Ulama. The author also seeks to identify points of difference and initiate an integrative effort to minimize existing tensions. Using a qualitative approach with library research as the primary reference and employing a comparative tafsir method as an analytical tool, this study also adopts the approach of ilm al-kalam (theology). The research findings indicate that the Nusantara Ulama paradigm tends to use a contextual paradigm with a mainstream interpretation of substantialist tafsir, while the Transnational Ulama uses a textual paradigm with a mainstream interpretation of scripturalist tafsir. These differences in paradigm and mainstream interpretation often lead to misunderstandings, even accusations of heresy or disbelief towards each other, despite the essential similarities in their views. To minimize ideological conflict regarding the interpretation of theological verses, the author proposes an integrative approach through convergent interpretation (tafsīr mutaqāribah). This approach represents a compromise between substantialist and scripturalist tafsir. This tafsir model offers a peaceful way to reach a mutual agreement that both sides can accept. The interpretation focuses on the core teachings of the Qur'an concerning theological verses, with consideration for maslahat (public interest), by finding common ground amidst the various interpretations. This approach requires mufassirs to socialize the meaning of theological verses to the Muslim community. Mufassirs need to re-recognize the primary purpose of the Qur'an's revelation to Prophet Muhammad, which is to bring a mission of peace, while also reconciling diverse opinions with a firm adherence to the essential theological teachings of Islam and upholding the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep silent education atau pendidikan melalui diam dalam Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tematik (tafsīr mauḍū‘ī). Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya eksplorasi dimensi non-verbal dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya keteladanan (uswah ḥasanah) yang jarang ditelaah dari aspek diam sebagai metode edukatif. Melalui analisis semantik dan kontekstual terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, ditemukan bahwa diam bukan sekadar ketiadaan bicara, melainkan instrumen edukatif yang kaya makna. Empat ayat utama dikaji: QS. Al-A‘rāf [7]: 204, QS. Al-Furqān [25]: 63, QS. Maryam [19]: 29, serta QS. Luqmān [31]: 19. Masing-masing merefleksikan nilai-nilai pendidikan seperti adab terhadap wahyu, pengendalian diri, kontemplasi spiritual, dan kebijaksanaan dalam bersikap. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh penafsiran para mufassir klasik seperti al-Ṭabarī, al-Qurṭubī, dan Ibn Kathīr, serta mufassir kontemporer seperti Sayyid Quṭb dan al-Ghazālī, yang menempatkan diam dalam posisi sentral dalam membentuk kepribadian dan kesadaran ruhani. Diam dipahami sebagai bentuk adab, strategi menghindari konflik, dan ruang bagi refleksi batin. Relevansi pendidikan diam dalam konteks pendidikan modern juga dikaji, khususnya dalam pendidikan karakter, nilai, dan pendekatan mindfulness education. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa silent education merupakan warisan epistemologis Islam yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap paradigma pendidikan berbasis akhlak, kontemplasi, dan keteladanan. Studi ini mendorong integrasi prinsip diam dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam modern guna menghidupkan kembali dimensi spiritual dan etis dalam proses belajar-mengajar.
