Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were teachers and students of MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation. This study aims to determine the implementation of character values in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah at MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of character education values in surah al ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah at MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. The results of the study show: first, the values of character education in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 are the character of uswatun repertoire, the character of Sidiq, Amanah, Fathanah and Tabligh which are implemented into the method of habituation and punishment. in the form of habituation of exemplary done by teachers, habituation of fardhu prayers, habituation of three languages and habituation of clean and beautiful Fridays carried out by students and teachers. There are supporting factors in the form of cooperation from school residents, the cohesiveness of educators and community participation. Thus it can be concluded that MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik implements the values of character education in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah well.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: Is there an influence of ability Critical Thinking Students taught using the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model in learning science and science on the topic of magnetic force. Critical thinking is to include judgment or careful evaluation, such as assessing the suitability of an idea or product. Muhibbin identifying rational thinking and critical thinking are manifestations learning behavior, especially those related to solutions to these problems. Matter It is understood that students have critical thinking skills use basic principles and foundations of understanding to answer questions, such as "how" (how) and "why" (why). Terms Critical thinking too It requires students to use several appropriate cognitive strategies to test ideas troubleshoot and resolve errors or deficiencies. Hence this research aims to determine the effect of using the Children Learning in Science model (CLIS) on the critical thinking abilities of UPT SDN 207 Gresik students. Types of research This is quantitative using pre-experimental research methods (Non Design) One Group Pretest-posttest means the research only uses one class an experiment without a comparison class or control class. The population of this study are all class IV students at UPT SDN 207 Gresik with a total of 39 participants educate. The influence of the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model on abilities Students' critical thinking in the science and science subject on the topic of magnetic force was carried out using the T Test, namely it is known that the correlation coefficient value is 0.572 with the value significant of 0.000 because the Sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 then it can be said that there is relationship between pretest and posttest variables. So the Children's learning model Learning in Science (CLIS) has a positive effect on critical thinking skills students at UPT SDN 207 Gresik. Abstract

This study aims to examine waste management at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) as part of the efforts to achieve a green campus. The focus of the research is on the waste indicator, which is assessed using the standards of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. The study also seeks to identify the actual conditions of waste management at UNJ, particularly within Campus A, so that the implementation of sustainable waste management can be comprehensively analyzed. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through documentation and interviews with key informants, including cleaning supervisors, students, and campus management staff. The collected data were analyzed based on six waste management indicators from the UI GreenMetric (WS1-WS6), which include the 3R program (reduce, reuse, recycle), reduction in the use of paper and plastic, processing of organic and inorganic waste, hazardous waste (B3) management, and wastewater disposal. This analysis is supported by a description of the actual field conditions, including differences in information among informants, which reflect variations in understanding and implemetation across campus units.  The findings indicate that waste management at Campus A of UNJ has shown positive initiatives, especially in the indicator of reducing paper and plastic use (WS2), which achieved the maximum score. However, some indicators, such as inorganic waste processing (WS4) and hazardous waste (B3) management (WS5), still show low performance due to limited sorting facilities, a lack of awareness among the academic community, and uneven operational procedures across units. Overall, Campus A of UNJ obtained a score of 1,200 out of 1,800 in the waste category, indicating that the green campus implementation is underway, but it still requires strengthening in technical aspects, institutional management, and participation from the academic community in order to achive optimal sustainable waste amangement.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are an achievement achieved by students in the ability to master a number of learning materials. In mathematics learning, especially multiplication material, students should understand the concept of multiplication in order to get maximum learning results. However, research conducted at MI Al-Azhar shows that in mathematics learning multiplication material, not all students understand the concept of multiplication because there is no use of learning media using concrete objects. This study aims to describe the process of developing multiplication board learning media using concrete objects, testing the practicality of learning media, and testing the effectiveness of learning media. This multiplication board learning media was developed to improve the learning outcomes of grade II students at MI Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik. Researchers used the RnD research type with the ADDIE model using observation research instruments, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest understanding tests on students. The results of the development of this multiplication board media in the feasibility test had an average percentage score of 96.8%, meaning that this board learning media is very good or very suitable for use. Then the results of the practicality test got a percentage of 98% from the results of the implementation of learning and 96.2% from the student response questionnaire. which means this media is practical to use. In addition, it can also improve students' conceptual understanding with evidence of the n gain test from the pretest and posttest understanding tests which have an average score of 0.79 which means students experienced an increase after using the multiplication board learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of magic box learning media on the numeracy skills of first-grade students at MI Al-Azhar Menganti. This study used a quantitative approach using the true experimental design method and a pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted in the experimental and control classes. The results showed that the use of magic boxes was in the "very good" category for use in learning. The effect of using magic boxes applied to the experimental class could improve numeracy skills, as evidenced by the pretest results of students in the experimental and control classes obtaining the highest score of 65 and the lowest score of 39. However, after being given treatment, the posttest results showed that the numeracy skills of students in the experimental class experienced a more significant increase and obtained scores above the KKTP when compared to the control class. The experimental class obtained the highest score of 95 and the lowest 69 in the very high and high categories, while in the control class the highest score was 81 and the lowest 56 in the high and quite high categories. Furthermore, the influence of the magic box media on students' numeracy skills can be seen from the t-table and t-count which show a significance of 5% = 2.086 < 5.374, or 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the magic box learning media has an effect on improving the numeracy skills of class I students at MI Al-Azhar Menganti.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low arithmetic ability of class II students at MIN 1 Gresik, especially in addition and subtraction materials. The main causes are monotonous learning methods and lack of utilization of learning media. The purpose of this development research is to develop the Ravine Board Learning Media to improve the mathematical arithmetic ability of students in Elementary Schools/Islamic Elementary Schools. Based on these problems, researchers are motivated to design more active, creative, and easy-to-understand learning by involving all students in the learning process in class II of MIN Gresik, with a focus on the following problems: (a) The process of developing the ravine board media (b) The level of validity of the ravine board media development, (c) The level of practicality of the ravine board media development, (d) The effectiveness of the ravine board media development product. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The subjects of the study were class II students of MIN 1 Gresik. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, observations, and pretests and posttests. The results of the study showed that: The ravine board media was very feasible to use, with an average validation score of 57.5. The media was declared very practical with an average score of 91.5 from student responses. Students' numeracy skills increased from a pretest average of 67.5 (very poor category) to 82.3 (very good category). It can be concluded that the ravine board media has proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the numeracy skills of class II students, and is feasible to use in mathematics learning at MIN 1 Gresik.

Abstract

This research examines the mentoring of nationalistic activities by students from the Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik Institute and field supervisors at MI Darunnajah Lebani Suko, Wringinanom District, Gresik Regency, in commemoration of Heroes' Day. Thru a descriptive qualitative approach, this program involves four main activities: the red and white parade, patriotic love songs, little warrior strokes (coloring and writing hero stories), and a colossal drama of patriotic fervor. These activities are creatively designed and based on direct experience to instill nationalistic values in elementary school students. The research results show a significant improvement in students in terms of courage, discipline, creativity, cooperation, and respect for national symbols such as the flag and national anthem. Collaboration between students as facilitators, teachers as pedagogical directors, and the school environment creates a conducive learning ecosystem where participatory methods are more effective than conventional approaches. This experiential learning approach not only enhances cognitive understanding of the struggles of national and local heroes but also builds emotional empathy and social skills. Positive impacts include high student enthusiasm, reduced learning boredom, and character strengthening in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile, such as mutual cooperation and integrity. Overall, this mentoring program serves as a relevant model for non-formal character education that can be replicated in other schools to strengthen nationalism from an early age amidst the challenges of post-pandemic globalization and individualism.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the professional competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in Menganti District through the development of contextual thematic modules based on local wisdom. The activity was initiated from a needs assessment indicating that most teachers still relied on nationally published modules without adapting them to the social and cultural context of their students. The implementation adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participatory observations, and document analysis of the developed modules, then analyzed using qualitative and descriptive quantitative methods.The results revealed a significant improvement in teachers’ pedagogical competence and creativity, with 90% of participants actively engaging in discussions, contributing local ideas, and demonstrating a better understanding of contextual module structures. The quality of the developed modules achieved an average score of 85.6% (categorized as very good), compared to only 68.3% (fair) for the publisher’s modules. Furthermore, the activity led to the establishment of the MI Menganti Module Developer Community (KPM-MI) as a collaborative platform for continuous development. This PKM program contributes to transforming learning practices into more contextual, reflective, and teacher-empowering approaches. Collaboration among lecturers, madrasahs, and educational communities emerged as a key factor in fostering innovative learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum.
