Abstract

Anemia is one of the global health problems, particularly among adolescent girls, and remains a critical issue in Indonesia. Anemia in adolescent girls can cause anemia which hurts health, academic achievement, and productivity. The government has implemented the Iron Supplement Tablet (TTD) program to reduce anemia and stunting rates. However, its implementation has not been optimal due to the low compliance among adolescents in consuming TTD. One contributing factor is the low level of self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using the Telegram platform on self-efficacy in consuming TTD among female students at SMPN 6 Denpasar. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 60 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. The independent variable was health education via Telegram, while the dependent variable was self-efficacy. The instrument used was a self-efficacy questionnaire, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The intervention was delivered once via Telegram Bot for 30 minutes. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed a p-value of 0,000 (0,05), indicating a significant effect of health education via Telegram on adolescents' self-efficacy in consuming TTD. Telegram is proven to be an effective educational medium to enhance self-efficacy and improve TTD consumption compliance among adolescent girls.

Abstract

Laboratories are supporting units in higher education institutions. Therefore, it needs to be supported by good laboratory management so that the implementation of activities can run optimally. The educational laboratory at the Denpasar Health Polytechnic Nursing Department serves more than 800 users every year. So it is deemed necessary to assess the satisfaction of users of laboratory services and find out what things are the priorities to be improved, to achieve optimal service. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of satisfaction with the service quality method and analysis of the importance of performance that needs to be improved to achieve a laboratory management system that can provide satisfactory service. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The number of samples in this study was 455 respondents. Data on user satisfaction of laboratory services was collected using a questionnaire. The analysis technique begins with an analysis of the gap between user perceptions and expectations, followed by an analysis with the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) matrix. The research results show that the gap for all attributes is negative, which means that expectations are higher than perceived perceptions. The tangible dimension produces a gap of -0,55 and a service quality value of 0.89 from the division of perceptions with expectations so that it is lowest ranked  and is the dimension that has the biggest gap among all dimensions. The results of the IPA analysis show that there are still 6 attributes in quadrant I, so it is necessary to make improvements to these six attributes.

Abstract

Recording the use of laboratory equipment is done in a logbook or daily log. Logbook is an important document for laboratory managers in managing the improvement of laboratory service quality. The use of logbooks has not been optimal, where recording is still done using conventional methods that are done manually. Filling in the logbook manually causes data on equipment usage to be untraceable, inaccurate and incomplete. Making an application in digital form will facilitate access to equipment data collection. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility (usability) of filling in the logbook in the form of a QR Code on the use of laboratory equipment in the Nursing Department of  Poltekkes Denpasar. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The number of samples for the trial of the digital logbook filling application was 60 people. The sampling technique used the stratified random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the average SUS score. The results of the study showed an average score of 71,08, with the level of acceptance of the QR Code application categorized as "acceptable" with a grade scale in category C, adjective ratings "good". The conclusion is that in terms of usability, the QR Code can be accepted and used by its users and is feasible to be applied to the laboratory equipment usage recording system. Suggestions for support from policy makers to further improve logbook performance with a digitalization system.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the diseases that often affects women. Efforts can be made to prevent cervical cancer through secondary prevention, either by IVA examination or Pap smear. Secondary prevention is influenced by the support of husbands, as they play an important role in encouraging women to undergo secondary prevention for cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband support and secondary prevention of cervical cancer. The research design used was an analytical correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 130 women of childbearing age, and the research instrument was a questionnaire on spousal support, which included emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and evaluative support, with a validity test result of 0,601 0,361. This study used consecutive sampling. The type of data used was primary data. The results showed that 63,9% of women of childbearing age received high levels of support from their husbands, and 48,5% of women of childbearing age had undergone secondary prevention of cervical cancer. The chi-square test results obtained a p-value = 0,000 (p0,05) and a correlation value using Cramer's V with a value of 0,73, which means that spousal support has a strong correlation with secondary prevention of cervical cancer in WUS. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between spousal support and secondary prevention of cervical cancer among women of childbearing age at the UPTD Puskesmas Kediri II Tabanan. To facilitate secondary prevention of cervical cancer, the researchers recommend conducting educational programs on the importance of undergoing examinations.

Abstract

Anxiety is a normal part of life. Excessive anxiety responses can affect exam performance and results. The OSCE is a comprehensive assessment of students' clinical competency. Final-semester nursing students are required to take the OSCE exam according to standards. With more exam material and different exam settings, this situation creates anxiety in students before the OSCE. The graduation rate of the Nursing Department of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic of Denpasar in 2024 reached 97,3% for the Nursing study program and 87.06% for the Diploma III study program. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to evaluate learning outcomes, which can be done independently (self-assessment) or assessed by group members (peer assessment), to prevent abnormal anxiety in students and achieve optimal passing scores. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contributors of self- and peer assessment factors to student anxiety in facing the OSCE exam. This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The number of respondents was 60 respondents, with a simple random sampling technique. The variables examined in this study were the anxiety levels of students who received self-assessment, peer assessment, and self- and peer assessment interventions. The research instrument used was the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A) questionnaire. The Kruskal-Wailiss test was used to analyze the results, resulting in a mean anxiety rank of 26,10. The conclusion was that the most effective intervention was a combination of self- and peer assessment.
