After education there was a good increase in knowledge from 28 (26%) to 91 people (91.0%), while attitudes also existed an increase from 5 people with good attitudes to 87 people (87%). The Wilcoxon test results obtained a significant value (p) of 0.000, it can be concluded that cervical cancer prevention education is effective through audio-visual for young women. .It is hoped that health workers will increase educational activities using audio-visual methods about cervical cancer. The public, especially young women, are expected to seek information from print and electronic media about cervical cancer.

Abstract

Anemia is one of the global health problems, particularly among adolescent girls, and remains a critical issue in Indonesia. Anemia in adolescent girls can cause anemia which hurts health, academic achievement, and productivity. The government has implemented the Iron Supplement Tablet (TTD) program to reduce anemia and stunting rates. However, its implementation has not been optimal due to the low compliance among adolescents in consuming TTD. One contributing factor is the low level of self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using the Telegram platform on self-efficacy in consuming TTD among female students at SMPN 6 Denpasar. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 60 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. The independent variable was health education via Telegram, while the dependent variable was self-efficacy. The instrument used was a self-efficacy questionnaire, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The intervention was delivered once via Telegram Bot for 30 minutes. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed a p-value of 0,000 (0,05), indicating a significant effect of health education via Telegram on adolescents' self-efficacy in consuming TTD. Telegram is proven to be an effective educational medium to enhance self-efficacy and improve TTD consumption compliance among adolescent girls.

Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the diseases most often experienced by toddlers. There are several factors that cause a child under five to experience pneumonia, namely the first is the characteristics of the mother which consists of the mother's education, the mother's knowledge about pneumonia, the mother's occupation, then the second factor in children under five which consists of exclusive breastfeeding, the immunization status of the child under five, the nutritional status of the child under five. , and finally environmental factors consisting of residential density, indoor air pollution, distance to health facilities. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about pneumonia and the incidence of pneumonia in toddlers. The type of research used in this research is non-experimental quantitative research. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling technique with a total of 31 samples taken. Data analysis used the chi square test to determine the relationship between the independent variable, namely the level of knowledge, and the dependent variable, the incidence of pneumonia. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The research was conducted at the Mangusada Badung Regional Hospital (RSD). The results of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of pneumonia, with a p value of 0,047. Advice for mothers who have toddlers is to increase their knowledge about pneumonia so that they can increase their ability to prevent their children from experiencing pneumonia.

Abstract

Developmental disorders are currently a global health problem. The state of increasing population every year shows that delays in child development will also continue to increase. The purpose of the research is to find out about parenting styles of parents with the level of child development. This type of research is quantitative which is correlational and the research design uses a cross sectional approach. The total sample was 127 people using the probability sampling method, namely the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The sample was determined based on inclusion criteria, namely parents and their children who attended the Pusat PAUD Werdhi Kumara and exclusion criteria, namely parents and children who were present but could not participate as respondents. Data collection used parenting style questionnaires and developmental pre-screening questionnaires. The results showed that the parenting style of the majority was democratic (61,4%), and the majority of children had appropriate development (85%). Test the hypothesis using chi square with asymp values. Sig (2-sided). The results of the chi square test of parenting style and child development showed a significance value of 0,467 or a p value 0,05, which means that there is no relationship between parenting style and child development. Based on a comparison of the calculated chi square value with the chi square table, the results obtained are 3,569 9,488. In conclusion, there is no relationship between parenting style and the level of development of kindergarten children aged 4-6 years at Kindergarten Pusat PAUD Werdhi Kumara Denpasar Selatan Year 2023. For future researchers, it is hoped that they can conduct further research on other factors that can provide the right stimulus at the developmental stage of preschool-aged children.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of toddlers who experience growth failure due to chronic malnutrition, toddlers become short for their age. One of the risk factors for stunting is the lack of nutritional intake of toddlers, including exclusive breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding can help prevent stunting. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Tista Village, the working area of the Abang I Karangasem Health Center in 2023. The type of research used in this study was non-experimental with a correlational research design and cross sectionalapproach using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample size was 128 respondents. Data collection using exclusive breastfeeding questionnaires and anthropometry. The results showed that most mothers who had toddlers in Tista Village had exclusive breastfeeding as much as 85.2%. Most of the toddlers in Tista Village were with normal nutritional status 71.9%, followed by short nutritional status 19.5%, and very short nutritional status 8.6%. Hypothesis testing using the contingency coefficient test with a value of p=0.000 (?=0.05) and a value of r=0.439, it was concluded that there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Tista Village, the working area of the Abang I Karangasem Health Center in 2023. It is expected that mothers need to get health education about stunting, the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, and other factors that are at risk of stunting.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the diseases that often affects women. Efforts can be made to prevent cervical cancer through secondary prevention, either by IVA examination or Pap smear. Secondary prevention is influenced by the support of husbands, as they play an important role in encouraging women to undergo secondary prevention for cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband support and secondary prevention of cervical cancer. The research design used was an analytical correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 130 women of childbearing age, and the research instrument was a questionnaire on spousal support, which included emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and evaluative support, with a validity test result of 0,601 0,361. This study used consecutive sampling. The type of data used was primary data. The results showed that 63,9% of women of childbearing age received high levels of support from their husbands, and 48,5% of women of childbearing age had undergone secondary prevention of cervical cancer. The chi-square test results obtained a p-value = 0,000 (p0,05) and a correlation value using Cramer's V with a value of 0,73, which means that spousal support has a strong correlation with secondary prevention of cervical cancer in WUS. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between spousal support and secondary prevention of cervical cancer among women of childbearing age at the UPTD Puskesmas Kediri II Tabanan. To facilitate secondary prevention of cervical cancer, the researchers recommend conducting educational programs on the importance of undergoing examinations.
