Abstract

The learning process of Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects in Vocational High Schools still uses printed books, resulting the students’ boredom in learning the materials. Apart from that, the learning method used is the lecture method which is certainly less effective in supporting students' understanding on the materials so that learning is more teacher-centered. Meanwhile, the demand for the Emancipated Curriculum is that learning must be student-centered. This study aimed to develop learning tools for PjBL-based teaching module on the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects. This research was a research and development using the ADDIE development model. There were 12 experts who validated this module from 3 aspects, including material, media and model, and language aspects, and 30 students as participants for pilot study. The results of this research showed that this module is valid and has positive effects in supporting the learning process for the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects. This study brings pedagogical implications for the effectiveness of Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects and is a method that can be implemented by teachers in the subject learning.

Abstract

Chassis is the most important part of a truck, because it is closely related to the safety and weight of the truck. The profiles used for truck chassis differ as follows: C-channel, U-channel and rectangular tube. This study aims to reveal the most ideal profile for use as a truck chassis. The study was conducted using finite element analysis. The study conducted was buckling analysis. The variables observed for each test profile are free vibration, buckling safety factor, and deformation scale. the C channel profile is most ideal for use as a truck chassis. The simulation results show that the C channel profile has a buckling safety factor > 1 and the smallest average deformation occurs in each shape mode. The U channel profile has a light weight, but the deformation that occurs in each shape is greater than that of the C channel. The rectangular tube profile has the greatest safety factor in each shape mode, but has the largest deformation scale and weight.

Abstract

The loss of oil fluid flow in the piping system in the petroleum industry due to friction is the cause of low efficiency. To reduce friction loss, the viscosity of petroleum can be lowered by adding water as a mixture. Actually, the flow loss in a piping system is influenced by several factors including flow pattern, fluid type, flow velocity, flow pressure and pipe diameter. This study aims to determine the effect of flow patterns on changes in velocity in the two-phase flow of oil and water in a piping system. This numerical analysis research was carried out using Fluent 6.2 software with variations in the velocity of the oil-water mixture: 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 m/s. The simulation results show that the greatest pressure loss occurs at a fluid velocity of 0.6 m/s where the flow is stratified mixed. While the smallest pressure loss at a mixture velocity of 0.2 m/s when the flow is stratified smooth. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the increase in fluid flow velocity has a positive correlation with the increase in the value of flow losses in the pipe.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at Vocational High School Pasundan 1 of Serang City (SMK 1 Pasundan Serang City), some of them do not meet the requirements for mastery learning outcomes, students find it difficult to digest animation lessons, and the teacher's limited ability to make media. Anticipating these obstacles requires an interesting new learning media that can generate students' imagination and creativity, one of which is learning media based on smart app creators. This study aims to find out how the process of developing learning media for Smart Apps Creator, to find out from the development of learning media in 2D Animation subjects that will be used in the learning process and to find out interactive learning media based on Smart Apps Creator in 2D Animation subjects at SMK 1 Pasundan which will be used for the teaching and learning process. This method used Research and Development (R&D). Research through the use of identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, revision, product testing, revision, trial, revision and mass production to produce a final product. The trial was conducted on 24 students of class XI SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City. The assessment of the 4 validators of the Interactive Learning Media, which is 90%, shows that the Interactive Learning Media is very valid to be used as a learning resource. The results of the assessment of 24 students that Interactive Learning Media has a practicality value of 89.30%, it can be said that the level of practicality of Interactive Learning Media is very practical and very well stated.
