Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana metode seni peran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi bahasa Arab pada murid kelas lima sekolah dasar. Studi dilakukan dengan 40 murid dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengucapan kata, kosakata, dan kefasihan berbicara pada kelompok yang mengikuti metode seni peran. Siswa juga merespons positif terhadap metode ini, menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mendukung integrasi seni peran sebagai alternatif efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The study explored the impact of differences in vocal and consonant systems between Arabic and Indonesian languages on the pronunciation and understanding of native speakers of the two languages. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The study aims to study the effectiveness of learning media innovation in improving Arabic vocabulary skills among students. The study involved 30 students and 5 teachers. The learning media developed includes mobile apps, educational games, and animated videos designed to make the learning process more interactive and exciting. Thematic analysis of qualitative data shows that interaction, visualization, and personalization of learning media are key factors affecting learning effectiveness. Studies have shown that Indonesian Arabic students often have difficulties in distinguishing and pronouncing long and short vocals, as well as Arabic-typical consonants, which can lead to misunderstandings in communication. On the contrary, Arabic speakers who are learning Indonesia have found a more adaptable consonant and vocal system, although regional variations in pronunciation need to be taken into account.

Abstract

Darul Ittihad Islamic Boarding School (Pondok Pesantren Darul Ittihad), as a traditional educational institution, faces challenges in optimizing the use of information technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), for the development of promotional and instructional content. This community service program (PKM) aims to enhance the pesantren's capacity to utilize AI and digital design applications such as Canva. The activity was conducted in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the preparation phase, the team conducted a needs assessment survey and developed relevant training materials. The implementation phase consisted of two training sessions, focusing on the creation of AI-based promotional and educational content. Evaluation was carried out by collecting participant feedback through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The evaluation results indicated a high level of participant satisfaction, with an average score of 3.24 out of 4. Additionally, 88% of participants successfully completed the independent assignments provided after the training, demonstrating a significant improvement in skills. This program concludes that the integration of AI into teaching and promotional processes at Darul Ittihad has the potential to enhance communication effectiveness, increase content relevance, and better prepare students to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Permainan ular tangga ini adalah salah satu permainan yang mudah dan banyak disenangi oleh anak-anak, namun perlu dilakukan perubahan yang lebih menarik apabila ingin digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Dengan adanya media pembelajaran yang baru, anak-anak akan lebih rileks dan secar otomatis akan dengan mudah memahami materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini fokus pada efektivitas penggunaan permainan ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Arab siswa kelas VIII di MTs Darut Ta'lim An Nawawi Surabaya. Dalam penelitian ini, seluruh kelas VIII diikutsertakan sebagai sampel. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney melalui aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Arab setelah penerapan permainan ular tangga. Nilai asymp. Sig < 0,05 menunjukkan penerimaan hipotesis. Perbedaan yang signifikan terlihat dalam peringkat rata-rata antara pre-test dan post-test, menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar Bahasa Arab dalam maharah kalam. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan permainan ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran di MTs Darut Ta'lim An Nawawi Surabaya menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara Bahasa Arab.
