Abstract

This study aims to examine the pedagogical skills of Al-Qur'an Hadith subject teachers at MIS Riyadlotul Uqul Kranggan in utilizing social media. The importance of this research lies in the rapid development of ICT which has an impact on the world of education, especially learning Al-Qur'an Hadith. The method used is a qualitative approach with interview techniques with al-Qur'an Hadith subject teachers. The results of the interview were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, including data reduction by recording and analyzing data findings, presenting data in narrative form, and drawing conclusions. The findings from the interviews show that teachers' pedagogical skills in utilizing ICT include the use of media, online learning resources, ICT-based assessments, and developing students' digital literacy, although there are infrastructure constraints, and teacher training using ICT in learning. The problem limitation is to focus on the pedagogical skills of Al-Qur'an Hadith subject teachers.

Abstract

Perilaku peserta didik yang belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan nilai-nilai Islam menunjukkan urgensi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis ajaran Islam. Dalam hal ini, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kedisiplinan dan karakter peserta didik melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman secara teoritis dan praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji (1) peran guru PAI sebagai model dan teladan dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas IX di SMP N 1 Jiwan, (2) peran guru PAI sebagai motivator dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas IX di SMPN 1 Jiwan, (3) peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai pembimbing dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas IX di SMPN 1 Jiwan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa yang terlihat dari perilaku menyimpang seperti sering terlambat dan kurang sopan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru PAI, tenaga pendidik, dan peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PAI sangat berpengaruh dalam membentuk kedisiplinan siswa. (1) sebagai teladan, guru menunjukkan sikap Islami yang konsisten melalui perilaku jujur, disiplin, dan bertanggung jawab. (2) sebagai motivator, guru memberikan dorongan positif lewat pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, apresiasi, dan umpan balik yang membangun. (3) sebagai pembimbing, guru memberikan arahan dan pendampingan dalam menghadapi masalah disiplin serta membentuk karakter siswa agar siap menghadapi tantangan di dalam dan luar sekolah.
