Abstract

The Deli River is one of the rivers located in Medan Belawan, Deli Serdang Regency, with an area of ​​48 hectares, a length of 73 kilometers (km), and a width of 5.58 m. People use the river for activities, bathing, washing, transportation, for other purposes. agriculture as well as industry, animal husbandry and other activities. People deliberately throw rubbish into the Deli River, such as used tires, plastic, other junk items that can no longer be used. Various activities around rivers such as transportation facilities, sanitation and hygiene practices of local communities, and fish farming have a negative impact on river quality. If these activities are balanced with high public awareness in preserving the river environment, then the river quality will be relatively good and the water will be clear.

Abstract

Integrated Social Studies (IPS) is a highly potential learning approach to improve the quality of IPS learning. However, the development of integrated IPS materials still faces various challenges. The purpose of this research is to focus on the main problem, namely, there are several challenges faced by teachers in developing integrated IPS materials. Therefore, efforts are made to overcome these problems in MTS Islamiyah Medan. The method used in this research is through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results obtained include the constraints of limited learning resources, the challenges of integrating IPS materials, educational background, and the lack of facilities such as technology.

Abstract

Tropical rainforests play a vital role in maintaining global climate stability and supporting the world's biodiversity. This study was conducted in the Elmina Rainforest, Selangor, Malaysia, with the aim of examining the current state of biodiversity and the impact of climate change on rare species. The methods employed included direct observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review. The findings indicate that anthropogenic pressures such as deforestation, pollution, and the effects of climate change have accelerated ecosystem degradation in the Elmina Rainforest. Phenomena such as savannization, pollinator population decline, and phenological disruptions were clearly observed in the field. Although conservation efforts have been initiated, challenges such as limited resources and insufficient community participation remain significant barriers. This study recommends ecosystem-based adaptation and mitigation strategies, ex-situ conservation, and active community engagement as key components for the successful preservation of rare species amid climate change. These findings underscore the importance of a holistic and collaborative approach in ensuring the sustainability of urban tropical rainforests.

Abstract

Keberhasilan Usaha mengacu pada situasi di mana perusahaan mencapai peningkatan dibandingkan kinerja sebelumnya. Kesuksesan bisnis artinya tujuan utama suatu perusahaan dimana segala kegiatannya ditujukan buat mencapai kesuksesan. (Khairul Muna et al., 2021) terdapat beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan suatu usaha antara lain modal, kemampuan bisnis, dan lokasi. dalam membuatkan usaha, pengusaha sendirilah yang wajib memaksimalkan serta mengelola modal, kemampuan (keterampilan), dan memilih lokasinya dengan baik serta dengan seksama. Modal ialah faktor kunci dalam memilih keberhasilan serta kesinambungan sebuah perusahaan. Untuk tiap usaha baik berskala mungil, menengah juga besar, modal ialah faktor yang begitu penting dalam memilih taraf produksi serta pendapatan. Modal ialah satu diantara faktor ataupun input produksi yang bisa menjadi pengaruh dari pendapatan, tetapi bukanlah satu-satunya faktor yang bisa menaikkan pendapatan.
