Abstract

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, the effectiveness of the work process is one of the key factors to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the company. One of the main challenges is the accurate determination of standard working times, especially in processes involving manual inspections. Without a clear standard time standard, setting work targets is often not optimal, which can result in uneven workload, decreased productivity, and worker fatigue. PT BI is an automotive component manufacturing company that uses cold forging technology. One of the important processes in this company is visual inspection to guarantee product quality. However, the company does not yet have a standard time standard in the visual inspection process, so the daily target is determined based on the cycle time, which is less effective. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of operators in using standard time in achieving targets. The study used the stopwatch time study method to measure the work cycle time in visual inspection operators. Data was collected through observations and interviews with operators as well as analysis using Minitab software. The results of the study show that the application of standard time is able to increase the effectiveness of operators in achieving daily targets. In addition, precise determination of standard timing provides companies with advantages with better process efficiency and reduced operator fatigue levels. In conclusion, the application of standard time can be the optimal solution to increase company productivity while maintaining worker welfare.

Abstract

Copyright infringement is a significant problem for academic and professional consistency, which is triggered not only by technological factors, but also closely related to the moral values of authors. This research focuses on analyzing the relationship between the factors that drive plagiarism and the moral dimension in the academic environment. By utilizing a critical discourse analysis approach based on Foucault's thinking, this research examines how plagiarism narratives are formed, how pressures stemming from systems and power relations affect the morality of writers, and identifies internal and external factors that trigger acts of plagiarism. A case study of plagiarism among Indonesian academics is outlined to illustrate the complexity of the interaction between external pressures, personal ethical weaknesses, and challenges faced by institutions. The findings of this study suggest that efforts to prevent plagiarism need to include strengthening the values of honesty, responsibility, and integrity, not only through technical methods, but also by building sustainable moral awareness.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and attacks the lower respiratory tract. The purpose of this study was to provide nursing care to patients with ineffective airway clearance due to Pulmonary TB in the Emergency Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City with a case study approach. This type of research uses a descriptive case study approach. The sample consisted of one person who experienced an emergency due to a medical diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Emergency Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City. Data collection was carried out through nursing assessment with anamnesis, physical examination and documentation study. The results of the study showed that the patient was in the green triage, ineffective airway clearance as a priority nursing diagnosis, the patient was given airway management and oxygen 6 npm nasal cannula. Nursing evaluation showed that airway clearance was still ineffective and the patient was treated in the inpatient room. The emergency team needs to carry out complementary therapy in collaborative care for chronic patients.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease in the form of increased blood glucose levels or commonly called hyperglycemia that exceeds normal limits. This condition is caused by a decrease in insulin secretion that occurs due to dysfunction in the pancreas, insulin sensitivity is decreasing, or from both, Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease whose number of sufferers continues to increase cases every year. This study uses a case study method with female patient respondents aged 38 years with a medical diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews (interview results contain the identity of the client, main complaints, history of current and past diseases), observation and physical examination. This research was carried out in the HCU Room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City for 3 days (March 11, 2024 – March 13, 2024). the results of a case study in patients with diabetes mellitus obtained a nursing diagnosis there was a wound in the left leg area, during nursing care for 3 days it was found that the problem was resolved so that the intervention was stopped. based on the results of the evaluation of the wound problem in the left leg area in the patient can be resolved.

Abstract

Ineffective airway clearance is one of the oxygenation disorders in patients with respiratory disorders (bronchitis). One of the practical nursing actions is to cough effectively to remove mucus in the respiratory tract. This study aimed to determine and analyze nursing care for impaired oxygenation needs in patients with a medical diagnosis of bronchitis in the old Jimbaran room. This research method uses a descriptive design as a nursing practice case study approach. The case study examines the respiratory rate (RR) of patients with respiratory disorders (bronchitis) after giving effective coughing measures for 3x24 hours. The results showed that the patient's RR before implementation was 24 x/min. In comparison, after being given an effective cough implementation for 3x24 hours, the RR was 20 x/min. In conclusion, nursing actions that need to be taken in patients with respiratory disorders (bronchitis) include assessing sputum production, effective coughing techniques, counseling regarding positioning, and collaborative oxygen or nebulizer administration. The implication of this study is the importance of effective coughing measures in managing bronchitis patients, including evaluation of sputum production, training in proper coughing techniques, education on proper positioning, and collaboration with oxygen or nebulizer administration as needed.
