Abstract

This research was motivated by the researcher's observations regarding difficulties in learning to read and write among students in class III which occurred at SDN Batok Bali. This research aims to obtain information or a clear picture of how difficult it is to learn to read and write which is carried out at the SDN Batok Bali school with the learning outcomes achieved by class III students. The research population included all class III students consisting of one class with 41 students. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach research method, where data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on the results of this research, several difficulties experienced by students were found, including: (a) Difficulty recognizing letters when reading, (b) Difficulty with spelling and unclear reading pronunciation among students, (c) Many errors in reading among students, (d) Difficulty distinguishing several letters when writing, (e) Lack of letters when writing words, (f) The time required to write is too long, and several solutions that can be done to overcome difficulties in learning to read and write in students that have been found in class III at SDN Batok Bali.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's observations regarding the role of teachers in developing poetry reading skills in class 4 at SDIT Cordova 3. The purpose of this research is to obtain information or an overview of the role of teachers in developing poetry reading skills carried out by SDIT Cordova 3 with the hope of good results. achieved by grade 4 students. This research uses qualitative research using a descriptive approach method by obtaining data from interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, there are several difficulties experienced by students, including lack of self-confidence and lack of motivation. To solve this problem, SDIT Cordova 3 uses the demonstration method so that learning becomes more active and fun.

Abstract

Tobe be able to find out problems related to Indonesian language as well as alternative solutions in learning in class II at SDN Neglasar. The method used in this research uses qualitative research in the realm of case study research and literature study. The researcher in the realm of case study research to related to spoken language and the existence of solutions in the school. The result of the research show that spoken language can help students understand a meaning using a series of picture media, using alternative solutions to the problem of not understanding spoken language using media in the form of a series of picture media which is used optimally to develop and provide ecplanations for children’s oral language skills. Through a series to train children’s language development. By observing he picture, children will then get a story idea from the picture

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulty of students in determining the main idea in a paragraph. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with research methods in the form of descriptive research methods.  Data sources taken in the form of interviews, observations, journals, articles, books, and other scientific works that are relevant and in accordance with the object of research study. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses analysis from Miles and Huberman. The results showed that there were 2 causes of students' difficulties in determining the main idea of a paragraph, namely internal and external factors, internal factors include, 1) students do not understand the main idea of a paragraph; 2) students have not been able to distinguish between which are the main sentences and explanatory sentences; 3) students do not like the main idea material; 4) lack of interest in reading in students. While external factors include, 1) the lack of teacher methods and strategies in providing main idea material so that students dislike main idea material; 2) the use of local languages that become everyday language.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of E-LKPD based on scientific inquiry on critical thinking skills in grade V science subjects at SDN Karawaci 1. The research method used is quasi-experiment with a research design of nonequivalent control group design. There are two classes in this study, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class consisted of 25 students who applied learning using E-LKPD based on scientific inquiry and the control class consisted of 25 students who applied conventional LKPD. The research data collection used observation instruments, pretests and posttests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Inferential statistical data analysis using independent sample t-test one party right and n-gain. Based on the data analysis calculations that have been carried out by researchers, the research results obtained are the critical thinking skills of students who use E-LKPD are better than the critical thinking skills of students who use LKPD. Through the research that has been done, it is hoped that this research will be a motivation and innovation in learning and provide information to readers, teachers and other educators about the importance of developing critical thinking skills for elementary school students

Abstract

Matematika di SD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung peserta didik. Rumah Bilangan merupakan salah satu media yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penggunaan rumah bilangan terhadap kemampuan berhitung materi nilai tempat di SDK BPK PENABUR Kota Serang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 peserta didik, dengan 30 peserta didik kelas I A dan 30 peserta didik kelas I B. Data penelitian berupa tes essai. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling dengan kelas I A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas I B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes essai sebanyak 8 soal untuk mengukur kemampuan berhitung peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peserta didik yang belajar dengan Rumah Bilangan mempunyai kemampuan berhitung lebih meningkat dari peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan rumah bilangan.

Abstract

Menyimak dan menulis merupakan keterampilan dasar untuk komunikasi dan keberhasilan akademis di pendidikan dasar. Akan tetapi, metode pengajaran tradisional sering kali kurang melibatkan siswa, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang inovatif. Studi ini menyelidiki efektivitas media puzzle dalam meningkatkan kompetensi menyimak dan menulis melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka, dengan fokus pada sumber yang diterbitkan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis puzzle secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dengan mendorong partisipasi aktif, pemikiran kritis, dan keterlibatan. Puzzle yang berfokus pada menyimak, seperti aktivitas mencocokkan audio dan mengisi bagian yang kosong, meningkatkan pemrosesan dan pemahaman auditori. Puzzle berbasis menulis, termasuk puzzle silang dan permainan kata acak, membantu memperluas kosakata, meningkatkan ejaan, dan memperkuat struktur kalimat. Praktik terbaik untuk menerapkan media puzzle meliputi menyelaraskan puzzle dengan tujuan pembelajaran, mengintegrasikannya di seluruh mata pelajaran, menyeimbangkan aktivitas individu dan kelompok, dan memanfaatkan perangkat digital untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas. Akan tetapi, tantangan seperti sumber daya yang terbatas, keterbatasan waktu, dan pelatihan guru yang tidak memadai menghambat penerapan yang lebih luas. Untuk mengatasi hambatan ini, studi ini merekomendasikan pengembangan profesional bagi para pendidik, investasi dalam sumber daya puzzle berkualitas tinggi, dan penciptaan desain puzzle inklusif untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengimplementasikan sebuah produk yang inovatif dan kreatif dalam bentuk video animasi yang didesain khusus untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi wujud zat kelas IV di SDN Sukamenak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi kegiatan observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan tahap analisis yaitu meliputi tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, serta tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengimplementasikan video animasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi wujud zat dan menjadikannya lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN Sukamenak. Jadi, media video animasi sudah berhasil diimplementasikan pada materi wujud zat kelas IV di SDN Sukamenak, dan dapat digunakan dengan mudah dan praktis.
