Abstract

Coastal work areas are also undeniably at great risk of occupational accidents. However, fishermen usually do not equip and use personal protective equipment and safety equipment. This makes the work of fishermen quite risky. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential hazards of occupational safety and health in fishermen on the coast. This research is a literature review with data collection methods and uses literature studies. A literature study is conducted by searching for data from published articles or national journals related to the keywords of this research to be analyzed by accessing the database on Google Scholar, then the data is filtered again based on the title, abstract, and content that is in accordance with the research. The criteria for the selected articles are published 2020-2024, indexed by Google Scholar, indexed nationally and internationally, and indexed by students. The results of this literature study are potential occupational health and safety hazards in fishermen, namely chemical, physical, ergonomic, and psychosocial hazards. Abstract

Background Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a common occupational health issue among plantation workers due to unergonomic working postures. Oil palm harvesters are especially vulnerable because of repetitive physical activities and awkward body positions. Work processes involving strenuous physical effort, such as lifting tools, cutting bunches, bending, and reaching for fronds for extended periods, along with unergonomic postures, increase the risk of MSDs. This study aims to determine the relationship between work posture and MSDs complaints among oil palm harvesting workers at PTPN IV Tanah Itam Ulu. Methods A cross-sectional quantitative study was performed with a sample of 50 Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) harvesters. Data were collected through observations and interviews using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) to evaluate work posture and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) to assess MSDs symptoms. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05 in SPSS. Results The study revealed that 52% of workers experienced high-risk MSDs, while 48% faced very high-risk MSDs. A statistically significant relationship was identified between work posture and MSDs complaints (p = 0.000).   Conclusions Poor ergonomic posture significantly increases the risk of MSDs among palm oil harvesters. Ergonomic interventions, including training on proper posture and the use of assistive tools, are strongly recommended to reduce risk and improve occupational health well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan persediaan obat di Rumah Sakit Swasta X di Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengadaan obat dilakukan sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku, menggunakan Formulary Nasional (Fornas) untuk pasien BPJS dan formularium internal (Forkit) untuk kebutuhan medis lainnya. Tim Komite Farmasi dan Terapi (KFT) berperan penting dalam perencanaan kebutuhan obat, dengan mempertimbangkan pola penyakit dan data konsumsi obat sebelumnya. Proses pengadaan obat dilakukan melalui satu pintu dengan sistem pengelolaan anggaran yang fleksibel. Selain itu, penataan obat di gudang farmasi menerapkan sistem FIFO (First In First Out) dan FEFO (First Expiry First Out) untuk memastikan akurasi persediaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan obat di rumah sakit swasta.

Abstract

PT Putra Pratama Jaya Mandiri was established in 2011 located Jl. Bhayangkara 1 No. 1 Paku Jaya, North Serpong, South Tangerang. PT Putra Pratama Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in Interior Services which has 2 branch offices located in Tangerang and Bali with a total number of employees of 275 employees. Human resource data management or employee management that is currently running is not running well because it is still done using Microsoft excel so that there are still some problems, namely the absence of a system that is used as a container to collect employee work data reports every day so that HR must collect one by one to find out the results of employee work that has been done every month,  There is no application used to support the optimization of employee data (new, resign, mutation, promotion and retirement) specifically in data storage, data security has not been well maintained because it can still be seen by many people. This research produces a web-based employee data system that can help HR in managing employee data (new, resign, mutation, promotion and retirement). In addition, it helps employees inform the results of work reports that have been done so that OM, HR and division heads can control the results of employee work every day. This system is created using the PHP programming language and Mysql database. This research uses the RAD method as system development and blackbox testing for system testing.
