Abstract

Tangerang's green mussel farms are expanding. Green mussels grow swiftly and easily, thus many people plant them. Boatmen, divers, bamboo and rope sellers, clam shell peelers, clam boilers, stroller-selling clam sellers, and rice stalls that serve green clam delicacies all work hard on green mussel farms. Green mussel growers and other coastal towns rely heavily on sales. To make a life, farmers need excellent financial arrangements because yields can vary. This prompted financial management coaching for green mussel fisherman in Ketapang Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency. The activity took place from April to August 2022. Green mussel farmers should be able to run their enterprises and manage their money to enhance them. Counseling participants are mostly employed, according to their earnings. Most counseling clients don't know much about food-industry green mussels. Counseling changed everything. The counseling findings demonstrate participants' financial literacy. Managing revenue and expenses, borrowing tactics from financial institutions, or learning about business growth budgets.

Abstract

Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Mina Samudera is one of the most rapidly growing cooperatives in Tangerang Regency, with a total membership of 9,877 people. This study was conducted in May 2017 at KUD Mina Samudera, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, using descriptive statistical analysis, motivation theory, and SWOT analysis. KUD Mina Samudera operates four main business units: the Swamitra Mina Savings and Loan Unit (USP), Pesisir Store, Grameen Pesisir , and the Fishermen’s Fuel Station (SPDN). These business units have consistently increased their annual profits and provided significant benefits to fishermen, including financial support, logistics, fuel, and additional business opportunities for their wives. A growth and development strategy serves as an alternative approach for the cooperative by optimizing its financial strength, management, and existing business units. However, challenges remain, including limited access to information and location, low community participation, and the need for more competent human resources. To address these issues, improving cooperative accessibility, increasing member participation, and fostering collaboration with the government are essential to ensuring the sustainability and growth of the cooperative.

Abstract

Kerang (Mizuhopecten yessoensis) adalah spesies kerang yang hidup di air dingin dan tersebar di Jepang bagian utara, Sakhalin, Kepulauan Kuril, dan Korea utara. Kerang yang paling banyak dibudidaya adalah jenis (Mizuhopecten yessoensis) hal ini karena memiliki nilai komersial yang tinggi. Salah satu penghasil kerang jenis (Mizuhopecten yessoensis) terdapat di daerah Shizukari dan Tomamae, namun kedua daerah tersebut memiliki teknik pembesaran yang berbeda, untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kedua teknik terhadap pembesaran kerang (Mizuhopecten yessoensis). Perolehan data dengan cara sampling, sampling berupa long line dengan Panjang 500 meter. Data yang dikumpulkan akan dihitung dengan independent T test menggunakan software SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan jumlah kerang dengan teknik net cage dan teknik hanging culture terhadap pembesaran kerang (Mizuhopecten yessoensis).

Abstract

Alat tangkap cantrang memiliki hasil tangkapan yang dinilai memiliki selektifitas yang rendah tetapi memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini menganalisis komposisi hasil tangkapan cantrang di PPI Kronjo dan juga menganalisis dari segi ekonomi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Kronjo dilakukan pada Desember 2021 sampai Januari 2022. Penelitian dilakukan secara observasi langsung dengan mengikuti operasi penangkapan ikan pada 1 kapal cantrang berkapasitas 8 GT Kronjo sebanyak 2 kali trip. Kapal cantrang dengan kapasitas 8 GT di PPI Kronjo menerapkan kegiatan menangkap ikan mingguan. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase hasil tangkapan utama 62% dan persentase hasil tangkapan sampingan berada pada range 38%. Dari hasil analisa keragaman hasil tangkapan, nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener diperoleh nilai 2,41. Hasil indeks dominasi hasil tangkapan yang dihasilkan yaitu 0,11. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian terlihat bahwa bila nilai indeks keanekaragaman tinggi maka nilai indeks dominasi rendah. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa selektivitas alat tangkap tergolong rendah dan tidak ramah lingkungan. Perlu diadakan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai alternatif pemakaian by-catch reduction device di Perairan Teluk Pulo Cangkir, PPI Kronjo untuk mengurangi hasil tangkapan sampingan.
