Abstract

Ikan kakatua merupakan sumber daya penting di Kabupaten Wakatobi dan ikan kakatua ditangkap dengan alat tangkap jaring, bubu, dan muroami. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Taman Nasional Wakatobi pada bulan Desember 2014 sampai Maret 2015. Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat pola pertumbuhan dan ukuran pertama kali tangkap untuk ikan kakatua (Chlorurus strongycephalus). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposif (purposive sampling) dan data yang digunakan adalah panjang dan berat ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan allometrik negatif dan faktor kondisi yaitu sebesar 1,07 yang berarti bahwa ketersedian makanan masih cukup sedangkan ukuran minimal ikan yang tertangkap adalah 31,82 cm. Hasil ini memperlihatkan perlunya regulasi untuk penangkapan ikan kakatua (Chlorurus strongycephalus) di Kabupaten Wakatobi dan modifikasi alat tangkap seperti celah pelolosan untuk bubu.

Abstract

Stakeholders, who are agents and actors in this matter play an important role in the management of reef fisheries in Wakatobi National Park. This study aims to identify the agents and actors in Wakatobi Regency and to identify similarities and differences of the perception between agents and actors in the management of conservation areas. The method used is  Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result showed that there was a similar perception between agent and actor in which that the conservation gives benefit for the society in Wakatobi and the lack of regulation in Wakatobi Regency. Different perceptions between actors and agents occurred due to fishermen intention to fully utilize the resources for their welfare while the government intents to limit the fishing area in order to preserve the natural resources and the environment. Therefore, management related to the  regulation on legal-size of fish and the effectiveness of marine protected areas are needed. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi agen dan aktor yang berada di Kabupaten Wakatobi serta melihat persamaan dan perbedaan persepsi antara agen dengan aktor dalam pengelolaan kawasan konservasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya persamaan persepsi antara agen dan aktor yaitu konservasi memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat yang ada di Wakatobi dan masih kurangnya peraturan di Kabupaten Wakatobi. Perbedaan persepsi pada aktor dan agen karena nelayan ingin memanfaatkan perairan Taman nasional Wakatobi semaksimal mungkin untuk kesejahteraan nelayan sedangkan pemerintah membatasi wilayah penangkapan dalam rangka menjaga sumber daya alam dan lingkungannya sehingga perlu tindakan pengelolaan yaitu penentuan ukuran ikan yang tertangkap dan pengefektifan daerah perlindungan laut.Kata kunci: Pemangku Kepentingan, Perikanan Karang, Konservasi, Wakatobi

Abstract

Skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) has high economic value and opportunities for local and export market demand. The present study aims to investigate growth and exploitation status of the resource. Data collection was carried out in April-August 2021 by collecting catch data from fishermen at four fish landing sites in Manokwari. Skipjack tuna caught from the fishermen were caught in the waters around Manokwari. The size of skipjack tuna measured ranged between 260 mm and 760 mm, with an average monthly size ranging between 540 mm and 595 mm. The relationship between total length and body weight of skipjack tuna followed the equation W = 0.00006L2.7702, where the b value of 2.7702 indicates that the growth pattern of skipjack tuna (K. pelamis) is negative allometric. The growth model using the von Bertalanffy model, found asymptote length (L∞) of 792.75 mm, growth rate (K) of 0.75 year-1 and theoretical age (t0) of -0.0254 years. The total mortality (Z) was 1.32 yr-1. Natural mortality (M) was 0.61 yr-1. The mortality due to capture (F) was 0.71 yr-1. The exploitation rate of 0.54 indicated that the exploitation rate of skipjack tuna in the waters around Manokwari has slightly exceeded the optimum utilization rate. The spawning potential ratio (SPR) value was 16%, which was less than the lower reference point (20%).

Abstract

Potensi perikanan dan kelautan yang melimpah pada Kabupaten Cilacap ternyata belum mampu membuat nelayan tradisional di Kabupaten Cilacap hidup sejahtera. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan studi untuk mendalami indikator-indikator yang mempengaruhi pendapatan nelayan tradisional di Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengambil sampel nelayan tradisional di Kabupaten Cilacap khususnya pada TPI Lengkong dan TPI Menganti Kisik. Pengumpulan data primer dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dilakukan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan Oktober tahun 2020 dengan menyebarkan angket sebanyak 90 nelayan dengan ukuran kapal di bawah 5 GT. Karakteristik nelayan usia responden yang terbanyak pada kisaran usia 35-40 tahun TPI Lengkong sebanyak 42,22% sedangkan pada TPI Menganti Kisik sebanyak 16 orang 35,56 %, Pendidikan nelayan sebagian besar pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD) yaitu 86,67 % responden nelayan pada TPI Lengkong sementara pada TPI Menganti Kisik sebanyak 60 %. Jumlah anggota keluarga responden nelayan pada kedua TPI sama-sama dominan dengan tiga sampai empat orang pada TPI Lengkong 71,11 % sementara pada TPI Menganti Kisik sebanyak 89,89 %. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa faktor usia, pendidikan terakhir dan jumlah anggota keluarga nelayan tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada pendapatan nelayan tradisional Kabupaten Cilacap. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan kepada pemangku kepentingan dalam penyusunan kebijakan yang lebih berpihak pada kesejahteraan nelayan tradisional. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of laying solar panels on the deckhouse of small fishing vessels 30 GT. The additional load above which causes weight gain and will affect the ship's center of gravity is became the first effect of Fishing vessel stability. The second effect is on how the fishing vessel performs when there is a solar panel on the vessel. The data were collected by measuring the stability according to A.N Kyrylo’s method with standard checks according to the IMO (International Marine Organization). Code on Intact stability calculated the ship motion by using the STRIP method and measuring the wave characteristics using the JONSWAP method with the help of Maxsurf software. The results of this research show that the installment of solar panels above the deckhouse does not really affect the stability, where the results were agreed to the IMO standard criteria. Moreover, the success of the fishing operation will be more visible if the vessels operated on waves under 2 meters due to the more stable movement according to its seakeeping performance .

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of measuring the effect of the body on the fluid flow that occurs around it and measuring the stress that occurs in the ROV AF-150114 design. The research method uses software with a CFD model approach to analyze the stress that occurs in the designs made. In general, there are three stages that must be passed in a CFD simulation: Pre-processing. Solving and post-processing. What is calculated is the velocity, viscosity and pressure of the water flow around the ROV body. The results obtained show that the balance of the ROV body greatly affects the ability to dive and maneuver during maneuvers. The highest pressure/pressure for fluid flow occurs at the ROV AF-150114 speed of 2.5 m/s with a value 39,825 Pa and the value of viscosity is 10,860 Nm/s2. ROV AF-150114 movement test results found that the experiment has a faster movement time speed than the calculation.

Abstract

Tangerang's green mussel farms are expanding. Green mussels grow swiftly and easily, thus many people plant them. Boatmen, divers, bamboo and rope sellers, clam shell peelers, clam boilers, stroller-selling clam sellers, and rice stalls that serve green clam delicacies all work hard on green mussel farms. Green mussel growers and other coastal towns rely heavily on sales. To make a life, farmers need excellent financial arrangements because yields can vary. This prompted financial management coaching for green mussel fisherman in Ketapang Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency. The activity took place from April to August 2022. Green mussel farmers should be able to run their enterprises and manage their money to enhance them. Counseling participants are mostly employed, according to their earnings. Most counseling clients don't know much about food-industry green mussels. Counseling changed everything. The counseling findings demonstrate participants' financial literacy. Managing revenue and expenses, borrowing tactics from financial institutions, or learning about business growth budgets.

Abstract

The aims of the study were: (1) to test the metal content in green mussels; (2) testing the metal content in seawater for aquaculture activties; and (3) calculating green mussel business income. The research was conducted in May-July 2022 at four locations, three locations in the green mussel cultivation area and the fourth location in the green mussel collection area owned by a fisherman. Selection of sampling locations by purposive sampling. Primary data was collected by field survey methods and interviews with 9 green mussel cultivators. Secondary data was obtained from the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Tangerang Regency and scientific publications, including other research supporting data. Data analysis of metal content in green mussels according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) No. 7387-2009; Analysis of heavy metal content in seawater refers to the government regulation No 22 of 2021 concerning on the implementation of environmental protection and management seawater quality standards, especially for marine life; identification of trap catches was analyzed descriptively; analysis of green mussels chart business income using net income (????), R/C ratio, and payback period. The results showed that the metal content in green mussels at location 1 exceeded the threshold value compared to the other three locations; all metal content in sea water does not exceed the threshold value. This means that the mussels can still be consumed by the public and the waters are good for mussel cultivation. Mud grouper is the main catch of traps associated with green mussel cultivation sites and the highest R/C in respondents No. 1 and 6 with a payback period of <3 years, showing that the rate of return on business capital is categorized as fast.

Abstract

Ikan pari salah satu ikan demersal yang banyak ditemukan di Indonesia khususnya Cilacap dan daging ikan pari merupakan salah satu ikah yang dikonsumsi serta dijadikan olahan ikan. Ikan pari di cilacap banyak diolah menjadi ikan asin selain itu ikan pari dijadikan komoditas ekspor tersebut seperti fillet daging, kerajinan kulit, tulang, sirip dan insang ikan Pari. Penelitian tentang pengolahan ikan pari bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha pengolahan ikan pari di Cilacap Jawa Tengah dan dilakukan di Cilacap dari bulan Maret sampai April 2022 di Desa Menganti. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kepada nelayan dan pengolah ikan pari dengan responden berjumlah 10 orang. Data primer tersebut dianalisis dengan analisis kelayakan usaha dan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dari BEP (Break Event Point) Usaha Olahan ikan pari ini l sangat layak karena nilai R/C adalah rata-rata 11,6 dimana ratio>1,0 sedangkan periode pengembalian investasi (PBP) adalah selama 4 bula. Begitupula keuntungan rata-rata yaitu Rp.396.892.142,9.

Abstract

Ikan sebagai komoditas yang mudah membusuk (high perishablefood), memerlukanpenanganan yang cepat, bersih, cermat dan dingin (quick, clean, careful and cool) sehinggamutu ikan dapat tetap dipertahankan sejak ikan diangkat dari laut hingga ikan didistribusikan atau dipasarkan ke konsumen. Ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) merupakan komoditas perikanan penting yang memiliki peran besar dalam ekonomi perikanan Indonesia. Ikan tongkol yang didaratkan di PPS Nizam Zachman mayoritas adalah hasil tangkapan gill net. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis orgalopetik mutu ikan tongkol(Euthynnus affinis) beku hasil tangkapan gill net KM. Fortun Melimpah 9 yang didaratkan di PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta serta membandingkan hasil penilaian organoleptik ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) dengan standar kesegaran dan kualitas yang berlaku.Hasil uji organoleptik ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) yang didaratkan di PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta secara keseluruhan adalah 5,97 artinya ikan tongkol tidak memenuhi syarat mutu dan keamanan pangan. Sesuai SNI 01- 4110.1- 2006 nilai minimal persyaratan mutu dan keamanan pangan adalah 7. Ikan yang memiliki nilai kurang dari 7 sudah mengalami kemunduran mutu dan tidak aman untuk dikonsumsi karena adanya peningkatan aktivitas bakteri pembusuk sehingga tidak memenuhi syarat mutu dan kemanan pangan serta tidak dapat dipasarkan atau diekspor. Hal ini dikarenakan penanganan ikan di atas kapal tidak sesuai standar.
