Abstract

Export activities of agricultural commodities in Indonesia present significant opportunities, as evidenced by the implementation of the 'Gratieks' (Three Times Agricultural Export Movement) initiative aimed at bolstering the value of Indonesian agricultural exports. Leveraging this opportunity, the government collaborates with stakeholders in the agricultural industry across regions to foster the development of distinctive commodities. Among these notable products is the Pameling avocado, introduced as an innovative solution to the challenges faced by farmers in Tutur, Pasuruan, East Java, due to its various advantages. This study seeks to examine farmers' perceptions of the Pameling avocado innovation, conducted specifically in Tutur, Pasuruan, East Java. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive analysis approach, the study engaged 40 farmers as respondents. Findings reveal a positive outlook among farmers regarding the Pameling avocado innovation. Notably, indicators such as perceived relative advantage and observability attained a remarkably high rating of 97.8%, followed by the triability indicator (96.5%) and the appropriateness indicator (94.5%). Conversely, the complexity indicator exhibited the lowest score, standing at 26%.

Abstract

Koi fish aquaculture sector is closely tied to risk. Various factors, such as delays and uncertainties in delivering feed, infections, and pests affecting the koi fish due to irregularities in pond cleaning, delays and improper feeding, and extreme weather conditions, can lead to the death of fish. It is crucial to monitor the increasing risks diligently, as inadequate risk management procedures can lead to losses and potentially disrupt the growth of the industry. The purposes of this risk management on koi fish hatchery production are: 1). Identify and define risk events and risk agents in koi fish farming production in Kediri Regency, 2). Analyze risk events and risk agents in the production of koi fish in Kediri Regency. 3). Analyzing risk management in koi fish aquaculture in Kediri Regency. The proportional sampling method was used to choose the research sample. The House of Risk (HOR) data analysis method was employed in this study to analyze data. Based on the data analysis, a total of 17 risk events were identified in the four processes of koi fish seed production, which consist of risk events in the pond preparation process, risk events in the spawning process, risk events in the maintenance process, and risk events in the harvesting process. These risk events are caused by 33 risk agents.

Abstract

The swift advancement of our times continues to present waste as a significant challenge that requires our attention. Countermeasures are carried out with efforts that combine environmental and economic aspects or what is called a circular economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the independent variables, namely GDP, area, population, and circular economy implementation efforts with the dependent variable measured is the amount of daily waste generation. This research adopts a mixed method, which includes a quantitative approach through panel regression and a qualitative approach with mapping using Geo-Map orange data mining. This research was conducted in 17 kapanewon in Bantul Regency. The results showed that the amount of daily waste generation at kapanewon in Bantul Regency was influenced by GDP, population, and TPS3R with a probability value of 0.000 <0.05. The results on each variable are that the GDP variable has an influence of 0.25 on the circular economy, the population has an influence of 1.05. Meanwhile, the TPS3R variable has a coefficient of -1.42, which shows that the role of the Bantul Regency government in reducing the amount of waste generation is quite effective. This shows that the population gives the biggest role in the amount of waste generation in each kapanewon in Bantul Regency
