Abstract

Micro-credentials are considered a potential solution for enhancing the quality of human resources in Indonesia, especially among university students. This study investigates factors influencing the acceptance and use of micro-credentials using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It focuses on the roles of Perceived Usefulness (X1) and Perceived Ease of Use (X2) in shaping Attitude Toward Use (Y) of micro-credentials. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through questionnaires from 24 students at Ciputra University Surabaya. The data were analyzed using SPSS with multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that Perceived Usefulness (X1) significantly impacts Attitude Toward Use (Y), while Perceived Ease of Use (X2) does not have a significant individual effect. These findings offer insights into how universities can utilize micro-credentials to improve student engagement and learning experiences, preparing them for the workforce. This study supports the development of education and the enhancement of human resource quality in Indonesia, demonstrating the relevance and effectiveness of micro-credentials in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of customer confidence and health protocols on purchasing decisions at three, four, and five-star hotel restaurants in Surabaya. The results indicate that higher customer confidence leads to increased purchasing decisions, higher adherence to health protocols boosts customer confidence, and greater adherence to health protocols results in increased purchasing decisions at Surabaya's restaurants. Data was collected through structured questionnaires using a combination of open and closed-ended questions, employing the Likert scale, and distributed through social media platforms such as Line, Whatsapp, and Instagram, with 100 respondents sampled using the accidental sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. This research provides insights into the crucial role of customer confidence and health protocols in influencing purchasing decisions at star-rated hotel restaurants in Surabaya, offering valuable guidance to restaurant businesses in understanding customer behavior during the pandemic and improving their strategies to attract more patrons while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Abstract

In the development of a tourist destination, abundant resources are essential, including facilities, infrastructure, and manpower. Collaborative efforts can help alleviate the heavy workload to create a successful tourist attraction. Bukit Kayoe Putih Tourism is an example of a destination that has effectively implemented a unique collaborative system, known as the three-party cooperation system, which is rarely seen in other tourist places. The parties involved in this collaboration are CV. Mitra Wisata Abadi, KPH Perhutani Mojokerto, and LMDH Kupang. This study primarily focuses on the analysis of the three-party cooperation system implemented at Bukit Kayoe Putih Tourism and its direct and indirect impacts. The study employed literature review for strategy and purposive sampling to conduct interviews with the directly involved parties in the three-party cooperation system to gain insightful perspectives and opinions. Furthermore, the researcher employed data triangulation to ensure the validity of the data in this study. The study discovered that the three-party cooperation system can enhance a tourist destination in terms of permits, employment opportunities, and development. It also found that this system can boost the local economy, both for the tourism sector itself and the surrounding village communities.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial perceptions on the entrepreneurial intentions of school of tourism students which are mediated by entrepreneurial attitudes. The variables studied were Entrepreneurship Perceptions, Entrepreneurship Attitudes, and Entrepreneurial Intentions. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling to 88 School of Tourism students from three departments, namely Hotel and Tourism Business, Food Technology Program, and Culinary Business. The method used is descriptive quantitative with multiple regression analysis which tests four hypotheses with one independent variable; Perception of Entrepreneurship and two dependent variables; Entrepreneurial Attitude and Entrepreneurial Intention. The research results prove that Entrepreneurship Perception and Entrepreneurship Attitude have a significant influence on students' Entrepreneurial Intentions. Variable Entrepreneurship Perception has a positive but not significant effect on students' entrepreneurial intentions. The Entrepreneurial Attitude variable completely mediates the relationship between Entrepreneurial Perceptions and Entrepreneurial Intentions. Thus, it can be concluded that students state the importance of building an entrepreneurial attitude, because having an Entrepreneurial Perception is not enough to build students' entrepreneurial intentions. In further research will be possible to conduct research with a wider population of different objects

Abstract

ABSTRAK Data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pada tahun 2023 menyebutkan bahwa 12% pengangguran di Indonesia saat ini sebagian besar didominasi oleh lulusan sarjana dan diploma sebanyak 958.800 orang. Menghadapi fenomena ini, peran dari perguruan tinggi sangat penting untuk menyiapkan tenaga kerja yang terampil dan sesuai dengan bidang peminatan masing-masing jurusan. Universitas Ciputra sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan yang bekerja sama dengan SMA Happy Family School dan SMA Santa Maria Surabaya mendukung adanya penerapan pembelajaran Training of Trainer di lingkungan sekolah. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pelatihan literasi keuangan ini adalah pendampingan yang menitikberatkan pada proses training yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa untuk kemudian diaplikasikan dalam bentuk pengajaran kepada siswa. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas dengan mengadaptasi model penelitian tindakan kelas. Sementara data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. Pengambilan data peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa diukur melalui before dan after test dalam 3 indikator dengan 16 items. Pengolahan data dengan software SPSS untuk mengetahui Uji Hipotesis Komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat peningkatan kemampuan dalam mahasiswa dengan hasil nilai before diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3.98, sedangkan nilai after diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3.93. Penurunan hasil menjelaskan bahwa faktor-faktor ketidakberhasilan training of trainer adalah pemahaman materi trainer yang kurang memadai dan penyampaian materi tidak dilakukan secara langsung. Kata Kunci: Keuangan, Business, Model, Canvas, Training of Trainer  ABSTRACT Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2023 states that 12% of unemployment in Indonesia is currently dominated by undergraduate and diploma graduates, totalling 958,800 people. Facing this phenomenon, the role of higher education is very important to prepare a skilled workforce and in accordance with the specialisation of each department. Ciputra University as one of the educational institutions that collaborates with Happy Family School and Santa Maria Surabaya High School supports the implementation of Training of Trainer learning in the school environment. The learning method used in this financial literacy training is mentoring which focuses on the training process carried out by students and then applied in the form of teaching to students. The research method was conducted through a limited trial by adapting the classroom action research model. While the data used is quantitative data. Data collection on the improvement of student abilities is measured through before and after tests in 3 indicators and 16 items. Data processing with SPSS software to determine the Comparative Hypothesis test. The results showed that there was no improvement in the ability of students with the results of the Before value obtained an average of 3.98, while the After value obtained an average of 3.93. The decrease in results explains that the factors of the unsuccessful training of trainers are the inadequate understanding of the trainer's material and the delivery of the material is not done directly. Keywords: Finance, Business, Model, Canvas, Training of Trainer
