Abstract

The scope of this research is about a database application system called Feeder PDDIKTI, where the application can be used as a complete data storage medium by all universities in Indonesia, both university data, lecturer data, study program data, and student data. However, in its application there are still some weaknesses that are felt by users while using the system.The purpose of study is to determine how well-liked the program is by users and to find out what factors affect user acceptance of the application using the modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, whose data testing is assisted by using IBM SPSS. Thus, of the seven hypotheses put forth by the researcher, five are accepted, including Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, and Perceived Credibility, which are all shown to have a significant positive impact on behavioral intention in user acceptance. Facilitating Conditions and Behavioral Intention also have a significant positive impact on use behavior in user acceptance, while Effort Expectancy and Anxiety are shown to have no significant influence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the sentiment of social media users towards the election. The author collected data in this research through a literature study and observation. The author uses a classification method with the Naïve Bayes Classifier Algorithm and Support Vector Machine to analyze sentiment results. Next, this research extracts word assessment features using TextBlob, which changes text into positive or negative classes. Based on the research results, after going through the text preprocessing stage of more than 15,000 tweets, 11,000 clean tweets were obtained, which were then labelled using the text blob library in Python. The labelling results show that 4,000 tweets are positive, and the rest are harmful, indicating that most social media users' sentiment towards the election is positive. Words that often appear in the positive class express support and confidence in implementing elections that are considered honest and fair. On the other hand, words in the negative class reflect negative sentiment towards implementing elections, which are considered unsuccessful and time-consuming. The Naïve Bayes method provides accuracy, precision, and recall values of 85%, 80%, and 75%. In the Support Vector Machine method, testing is carried out with three kernels (linear, RBF, and poly), where the poly kernel with the best parameter values C is ten and degree is 1 produces the highest accuracy, precision, and recall of 90%, 90%, and 85%, respectively.

Abstract

Mangrove merupakan salah satu ekosisterm terpenting di dunia yang terletak di Kawasan pesisir, mangrove memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting bagi kelautan dan penjaga Pantai dari abrasi serta sebagai mata rantai makanan di suatu perairan, yang dapat menumpang kehidupan berbagai jenis ikan, udang dan moluska. Salah satu daerah yang mempunyai hutang manrove dan cukup rentan dengan terjadinya abrasi adalah Ciberi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman Masyarakat tentang pentingnya mangrove dalam mencegah terjadi abrasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Anggota Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LP2M) sebagai insan akademisi yang bekerja sama dengan TNI (Komando Armada Pangkalan Utama TNI AL X) untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan Penanaman Mangrove. Secara umum, kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancer diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini, Masyarakat Pantai Ciberi dapat memahami dan mengambil manfaat besar yang dimiliki oleh mengrove serta mencegah dari abrasi.
