Abstract

This study aims to create a 2D animated video containing the requirements and flow for making a new ID card, which is used to educate people who do not yet have an ID card. This video contains information about the required documents and the stages of making them. In making this 2-dimensional animated video, the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) design method is used, which includes several stages, namely Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. After going through these stages, the resulting video can be used as an educational medium for high school students who do not yet have an ID card. This study uses Celtx to create scripts and storyboards, and Canva to combine assets in the video and add sound effects and narration. This study produces a short 2-dimensional animated video with a duration of one minute and fourty seconds containing the requirements and flow for making a new ID card.

Abstract

Abstract. The abstract written in English must contain: purpose of the paper, methods, result, and novelty within 100-250 words maximum Purpose: In this case, a profile video is an electronic media to convey information that is very effective in introducing a particular institution. Through this audio-visual media, information is easily accepted and digested by the community, coupled with video packaging that uses cinematic techniques that make the results more interesting and not boring. Methods/Study design/approach: Based on this, to carry out promotion, a KIP-College profile video was developed. In making it using the cinematography method which has several stages including, Pre-Production Stage (Determining story ideas and writing scenarios), Production (Shooting and audio recording), Post-Production (Editing) to distribution (Publication) of video results. Result/Findings: The result of these stages is a profile video that is used to promote KIP-College. Novelty/Originality/Value: a profile video used to promote KIP-Kuliah

Abstract

Layanan informasi akademik merupakan komponen penting dalam mendukung kelancaran kegiatan pendidikan tinggi. Pada Program Studi Teknik Informatika Multimedia di Politeknik Negeri Samarinda, penyampaian informasi akademik masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan keterlambatan informasi dan kurangnya efisiensi dalam proses komunikasi antara pihak program studi dan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem layanan informasi akademik berbasis web yang dapat diakses oleh mahasiswa kapan saja dan di mana saja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan Feature Driven Development, dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu menyajikan informasi akademik seperti jadwal perkuliahan dan pengumuman, serta menyediakan fitur permohonan surat akademik yang relevan. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode black box menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penyampaian informasi akademik dan memberikan kemudahan akses informasi bagi mahasiswa serta mendukung proses administrasi akademik yang lebih modern dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

This study implements the Mamdani fuzzy logic method to classify laptop quality based on key technical specifications, including processor performance, RAM capacity, storage type, and price. The fuzzy model was developed using linguistic membership functions and rule-based inference to represent expert judgment patterns. System performance was evaluated using the Mean Absolute Error (MAE) metric, which measures the average deviation between the model output and expert reference values. The results show that the Mamdani fuzzy model provides highly accurate and consistent classifications, indicated by a MAE value of 0.027 (2.7%). The error values for each laptop sample ranged from 0.02 to 0.04, demonstrating the model’s stability and effectiveness across various specification levels. These findings confirm that Mamdani fuzzy logic is suitable for laptop quality classification and can serve as a foundation for the development of intelligent recommendation systems for consumer electronics.
