Abstract

Seorang ibu harus mengoptimalkan kesehatannya serta mengurangi risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatannya dimulai dari masa prakonsepsi. Kehamilan yang direncanakan dengan baik mulai dari masa prakonsepsi merupakan salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan untuk pencegahan stunting. Persiapan pranikah menjadi penting untuk dilakukan, dimana pasangan calon pengantin dibekali dengan pengetahuan Kesehatan reproduksi, persiapan gizi pada masa prakonsepsi serta upaya pencegahan yang bisa dilakukan oleh pasangan calon pengantin sehingga pada saat anak lahir tidak terjadi stunting. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan agar calon pengantin memahami tentang kesehatan reproduksi, persiapan kehamilan sehat dan upaya yang bisa dilakukan untuk pencegahan stunting. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi. Adapun media yang digunakan berupa powerpoint, leaflet dan video. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di evaluasi menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Didapatkan hasil pengetahuan peserta sebelum (pretest) dilakukan penyuluhan mayoritas berada pada kategori cukup sejumlah 5 orang (41,67%). Sedangkan pengetahuan peserta sesudah (posttest) dilakukan penyuluhan berada pada kategori baik sejumlah 7 orang (58,33%).

Abstract

Stunting is a significant problem that Indonesia must overcome to produce an excellent cognitive and physical development generation. Stunting is a problem in Bireuen Regency, Indonesia, and must be managed because it has long-term impacts on the future generation. This research is very important to carry out, until now there has been no research on the influence of clean water sources on the incidence of stunting, especially in Bireuen Regency. Research conducted in 137 developing countries shows that clean water sources influence the incidence of stunting. Poor access to clean water the incidence of infectious diseases, so that energy and nutrition for growth and development are diverted by the body's resistance to infectious diseases. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of clean water source and latrine ownership on stunting occurrence. The study used an analytical, quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The research approach to analyze the influence of clean water sources on the incidence of stunting in Pandrah District used quantitative analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this research was a total population of 62 people. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately, univariate analysis was descriptive while bivariate analysis used the chi-square test to analyze the influence of each independent variable and dependent variable. The research results showed that clean water source had a significant influence on stunting occurrence, with a p-value of 0.002 (which is less than the significance level of 0.05). It could be concluded that clean water source significantly influences stunting occurrence.

Abstract

This community service activity examined the impact of domestic violence on children's mental health. The background includes an increase in the incidence of domestic violence and it is important for families to understand the impact on children's mental health. Domestic violence is an action committed by a person or several individuals against another person. These actions result in physical, sexual and psychological pain, risk of exclusion, coercion, and even death in the household. This community service activity aimed to identify the effects of domestic violence on children's mental health. The method of implementing activities was through seminars and discussions held in Blang Asan Village and attended by the local community. The results of implementing this PKM activity showed that domestic violence can cause trauma, fear and insecurity, lack of self-confidence, behavioral problems, difficulty forming relationships, and can imitate violent behavior. Therefore, love in the form of protection and attention must be given to children affected by domestic violence to support children's mental health.
