Abstract

This research explores the important role of marketing in increasing the sales turnover of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia. The article outlines effective marketing strategies, including the implementation of digital marketing, branding, the right pricing strategy, and the role of promotions in attracting customers. Through a literature study, it is found that the implementation of the right marketing strategies can significantly increase the visibility of UMKM and optimise their sales performance. The results show that UMKM that adopt digital marketing can experience an increase in turnover of up to 50%. This research highlights the importance of government support and collaborative efforts to improve UMKM access to marketing training and information. It is hoped that this article provides useful insights for UMKM players and relevant stakeholders to develop more effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research evaluated the effectiveness and relevance of the curriculum at SDN Sirnaraja using a mixed methods approach, involving students, teachers, parents and principals. Data was collected through classroom observation, questionnaires, interviews and document analysis. The results show that learning is quite effective, with students feeling engaged and teaching methods that support understanding of the material. However, the use of technology in learning is still lacking. The curriculum is rated relevant by most students and parents, but needs to be improved to cover the latest developments in technology and 21st century skills. Research recommendations include improving technology infrastructure, teacher training and collaboration with the community. The implementation of these recommendations is expected to improve the quality of education and prepare students for future challenges. In addition, continuous monitoring and regular evaluations are proposed to ensure the sustainability and adaptation of the curriculum according to the evolving needs of the times. Support from the government and other stakeholders is also needed to realize the proposed changes and create a more conducive and innovative learning environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inability of students to think critically due to the use of learning media that is still simple. The solution to this problem is to develop learning media that is more interesting and easy to understand. The use of Animaker learning media aims to improve students' critical thinking and communication skills. The media to be used is Animaker software, an animation video creation platform designed to develop learning materials that are more interesting and easily understood by students. In addition, Animaker can be an alternative for educators in delivering material and facilitating the learning process. The learning media designed raised the theme of Rice Field and Pond Ecosystems for science subjects in grade 5 SDN 2 Sukamenak. The research method used is Educational Design Research (EDR), or educational design research that involves a cycle of analysis, design, development, evaluation, and revision. The results showed that the use of Animaker media helped students to develop themselves, become more active and creative, and more focused in understanding learning materials, so that learning became more effective and fun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of implementing the mardemban tradition in the Toba Batak ethnicity, describe the function of the mardemban tradition, and describe the community's view of this tradition. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research location is Huta Tinggi Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with traditional leaders and local communities, as well as documentation of mardemban tradition activities. The results showed that the mardemban tradition is a ritual of eating betel leaves carried out in various traditional events, such as weddings and religious ceremonies. The function of the mardemban tradition is not only as a symbol of respect for ancestors, but also as a means of strengthening social relations and instilling cultural values to the younger generation. The community believes that the implementation of mardemban helps strengthen the cultural identity of the Toba Batak in the midst of increasingly modern times.

Abstract

This research describes the financing management of a driving school. Education financing is needed for the operational needs and organization of schools. Effective financing management needs to be carried out by the principal as a manager and the school management team so that the educational objectives in the school are achieved. The purpose of the research was to provide an overview of the sources of funds obtained by the driving schools and the effective financing management of the driving schools. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation with the object of research at SDN 2 Ciulu. The principal, school management team and school committee were the objects of the research. Data analysis techniques are done through data collection and conclusion drawing. The results showed that financing management as a driving school was effective because the management of school aid funds originating from regular school operational assistance and performance school operational assistance had been carried out in accordance with the technical guidelines for the use of school operational assistance funds starting from planning, implementation, reporting, and supervision.

Abstract

This research describes the understanding of Poe Model-based science learning design and its impact on the character of elementary school students. The purpose of the research conducted is to identify and understand how the application of the POE learning model can affect the development of student character and to evaluate the effectiveness of the model in the context of science learning in elementary school. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation with the research subjects being 85 students at SDN 3 Golat. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data collection and conclusion drawing. The results showed that understanding the POE model in science learning was effective in developing student characters, such as curiosity, cooperation, responsibility, and independence.Teacher training and infrastructure support are needed to optimize results. Integration of POE in the curriculum, periodic evaluation, and further research are suggested to improve learning effectiveness and student character development.
