Abstract

Medicines are an important element in health services. In order to guarantee the availability of medicines, effective and efficient medicine management is needed which is supported by financial resources, human resources, information management, facilities and infrastructure. The health needs of the community are exploited by health service providers by advertising their health services in the mass media. Advertisements offering health services are increasingly widespread in print media, local radio and television. In print media, they generally advertise in the form of classified ads (small advertisements) whose rates are relatively different for each drug. There are quite a lot of advertisers every day in certain newspapers offering various medicines such as Sanatogen, Kalzan, Aspirin, Abdijsiroop, Purol and so on. This research, which uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, aims to find out regulations regarding health service advertising and health service practices that are advertised through advertisements in the local newspaper Bintang Borneo.

Abstract

Pengetahuan dalam sejarah merupakan aspek yang kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti nilai budaya, perspektif politik, dan kepentingan ideologis. Perspektif epistemologis memainkan peran penting dalam memahami dan menginterpretasikan sejarah dengan membahas proses dan cara memperoleh pengetahuan sejarah. Melalui analisis berbagai aliran epistemologi, seperti Realisme, Idealisme, Empirisisme, Rasionalisme, Kritisisme, Epistemologi Islam, dan lainnya, interpretasi sejarah menjadi lebih luas dan dapat dipandang dari berbagai sudut pandang. Epistemologi tidak hanya membahas bagaimana pengetahuan diperoleh, tetapi juga menyoroti hakikat dan nilai ilmu pengetahuan itu sendiri. Dengan demikian, pemahaman kita tentang sejarah dapat diperkaya dan diperluas melalui pendekatan epistemologis yang mendalam.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the application of digital comic media ‘Sejarah Bestie dan Bosque’ in learning prehistoric history in class X students of SMA Negeri 10 Samarinda. This research uses qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews with both teachers and students, classroom observation and documentation. Data validity was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. The results revealed that the use of digital comics ‘Sejarah Bestie dan Bosque’ strengthened students understanding of prehistoric material through interactive and fun visualisation. Students welcomed this digital comic as an innovative media. The results of this study are expected to provide practical insights for the development of history learning media that are more effective and relevant to technological developments, as well as input for schools to consider the integration of digital media in learning.
