Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sorting color puzzle games on the problem-solving ability of 5-year-olds. Problem-solving skills are part of one aspect of child development, especially the cognitive aspect. Problem-solving ability is the ability of individuals to use their thought process to solve a problem by gathering facts, analyzing the information obtained, and preparing alternative problem solving. This research uses qualitative research methods with a deductive approach. Qualitative research is research conducted by collecting data systematically, arranging data according to certain categories, interpreting and describing data obtained through interviews, observations, and interviews, observation and documentation. In this study, researchers conducted observations and interviews with children. Observations were made on 4 children aged 5 years in Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The results of this study showed that color puzzle games had an impact on the problem-solving ability of 5-year-olds. This is evidenced by the results of the data obtained by the researchers from observation activities, namely in the first test of the color puzzle sorting game, there were 2 children who received an assessment Start playing development and 2 children develop as expected. Then, the results obtained in the second experiment showed an improvement in each child. 3 children are considered to develop very well and 1 child develops as expected.

Abstract

Inovasi pembelajaran dirancang berdasarkan budaya, kondisi, juga kebutuhan pendidikan anak usia dini pada setiap wilayah tempat anak bersekolah. Pada Maret tahun 2020 kita semua merasakan adanya pandemi covid-19, yang merubah kondisi pendidikan anak usia dini. Hal inilah yang mengakibatkan adanya inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat membantu guru dan siswa melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakuakn untuk menganalisis inovasi apasaja yang terjadi ketika era pandemi berlangsung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan sistematik literatur review (SLR) dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan Publish Or Perish. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap pembelajaran paud di era covid-19 yang ditinjau dari 12 literatur, terdapat beberapa inovasi pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan. Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan berbasis daring (tidak tatap muka) menggunakan aplikasi online. Pada awal era covid-19 banyak pembelajaran disampaikan melalui media WhatApp hal ini dikarenakan media WhatsApp adalah media yang paling sering digunakan oleh guru dan orang tua untuk berkomunikasi satu sama lain.

Abstract

Eaery child has innate abilities, one of which is creative thinking. Creative thinking is a stage that can be utilized by young children to solve problems they face. Stimulating children to develop creative thinking involves channeling their ideas through play activities, making them trained to develop their creative thinking abilities and learn to solve problems they encounter. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of play-based learning on the creative thinking abilities of young children. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The results show that through play activities, children can create various creations based on their own ideas or thoughts, which are then applied through games. With creative thinking abilities, children also become trained and accustomed to solving problems they face. Play-based learning is proven to enhance creative thinking abilities in young children. The conclusion of this study is that play-based learning can enhance the creative thinking abilities of young children. Various types of games such as Loose Parts Play, playing with playdough, and "What If" can be utilized to develop children's creativity.
