Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the implementation of the discovery learning model enhances reading skills among fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Bengkayang. Based on data obtained through observations, interviews, and tests, this study overall concludes that the implementation of the discovery learning model at SDN 01 Bengkayang has achieved its goal of improving reading skills, particularly among fourth-grade students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of classroom management in enhancing communicative character among third-grade students at SDN 01 Bengkayang. Based on the research findings, it was found that a supportive classroom environment, the active role of teachers in facilitating interaction, and the application of various interactive teaching methods significantly contribute to the improvement of students' communicative skills.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SDN 03 Bengkayang. Saran yang diharapkan oleh peneliti, guru diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kerjasama antar sekolah yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama antar guru kelas, dalam mencari solusi pemecahan masalah yang ada di sekolah, kerjasama untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV khususnya di SDN 03 Bengkayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat hasil tes belajar siswa secara keseluruhan, jumlah nilai 2695, rata-rata 81,67%, jumlah siswa yang memperoleh nilai KKM sebanyak 33 siswa, ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Simpulan berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui instrumen pengumpulan data Pre-Test, Observasi, dan Tes, dalam penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di SDN 03 Bengkayang, telah mencapai target seperti yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini, yang menyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik IPA telah mencapai KKM sebesar 81,67% seperti yang diharapkan oleh peneliti. maka penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil, dan penelitian dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) program focusing on the Critical Thinking dimension, implemented for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Bengkayang. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data collection methods. The findings reveal that the P5 program significantly improved students' critical thinking skills, including problem identification, information analysis, and creative solution formulation. Project-based activities provided opportunities for collaboration, critical thinking, and confidence in presenting ideas. Additionally, students exhibited progress in logical argumentation and reflection on their learning processes. However, challenges such as limited time and diverse student capabilities emerged. Teachers play a vital role as facilitators in fostering an active and inclusive learning environment. Adaptive teaching strategies, such as ability-based group divisions, have proven effective in addressing these obstacles. The study concludes that P5 has substantial potential to enhance students’ critical thinking skills sustainably, preparing them for 21st-century educational demands. It recommends further integration of project-based approaches into the curriculum to optimize learning outcomes and foster holistic development

Abstract

Qualitative research to provide a broad picture of the factors that hinder students' ability to implement reading literacy. Literacy is the ability to read and write as well as speak, listen, understand and think critically. Reading is the window to the world we can gain a lot of knowledge and insight by reading. To improve the quality of education, reading skills are very important to build from an early age. However, interest in reading, especially among elementary school students, is still low in Indonesia. This is a concern and a challenge that will impact on students' learning outcomes and academic achievement. There are a number of reasons for this, such as lack of support from family and friends, more focus on playing online games or electronic devices, lack of facilities and infrastructure, strong personal interest and motivation, and support from schools themselves. The Indonesian government has made various efforts to increase students' interest in reading. One of them is the implementation of a literacy culture, or the School Literacy Movement.
