Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the implementation of the discovery learning model enhances reading skills among fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Bengkayang. Based on data obtained through observations, interviews, and tests, this study overall concludes that the implementation of the discovery learning model at SDN 01 Bengkayang has achieved its goal of improving reading skills, particularly among fourth-grade students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of classroom management in enhancing communicative character among third-grade students at SDN 01 Bengkayang. Based on the research findings, it was found that a supportive classroom environment, the active role of teachers in facilitating interaction, and the application of various interactive teaching methods significantly contribute to the improvement of students' communicative skills.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SDN 03 Bengkayang. Saran yang diharapkan oleh peneliti, guru diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kerjasama antar sekolah yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama antar guru kelas, dalam mencari solusi pemecahan masalah yang ada di sekolah, kerjasama untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV khususnya di SDN 03 Bengkayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat hasil tes belajar siswa secara keseluruhan, jumlah nilai 2695, rata-rata 81,67%, jumlah siswa yang memperoleh nilai KKM sebanyak 33 siswa, ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Simpulan berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui instrumen pengumpulan data Pre-Test, Observasi, dan Tes, dalam penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di SDN 03 Bengkayang, telah mencapai target seperti yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini, yang menyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik IPA telah mencapai KKM sebesar 81,67% seperti yang diharapkan oleh peneliti. maka penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil, dan penelitian dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) program focusing on the Critical Thinking dimension, implemented for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Bengkayang. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data collection methods. The findings reveal that the P5 program significantly improved students' critical thinking skills, including problem identification, information analysis, and creative solution formulation. Project-based activities provided opportunities for collaboration, critical thinking, and confidence in presenting ideas. Additionally, students exhibited progress in logical argumentation and reflection on their learning processes. However, challenges such as limited time and diverse student capabilities emerged. Teachers play a vital role as facilitators in fostering an active and inclusive learning environment. Adaptive teaching strategies, such as ability-based group divisions, have proven effective in addressing these obstacles. The study concludes that P5 has substantial potential to enhance students’ critical thinking skills sustainably, preparing them for 21st-century educational demands. It recommends further integration of project-based approaches into the curriculum to optimize learning outcomes and foster holistic development

Abstract

Qualitative research to provide a broad picture of the factors that hinder students' ability to implement reading literacy. Literacy is the ability to read and write as well as speak, listen, understand and think critically. Reading is the window to the world we can gain a lot of knowledge and insight by reading. To improve the quality of education, reading skills are very important to build from an early age. However, interest in reading, especially among elementary school students, is still low in Indonesia. This is a concern and a challenge that will impact on students' learning outcomes and academic achievement. There are a number of reasons for this, such as lack of support from family and friends, more focus on playing online games or electronic devices, lack of facilities and infrastructure, strong personal interest and motivation, and support from schools themselves. The Indonesian government has made various efforts to increase students' interest in reading. One of them is the implementation of a literacy culture, or the School Literacy Movement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of digital literacy and the domino effect of the soft skills development of border area students. This research was conducted using a combination of quantitative methods, interviews and observations with a descriptive discussion model. Questionnaires were given to explore students' understanding of digital literacy, while interviews and observations aimed to determine students' soft skills activities. The object of the research was the 8th grade students of Tarsisia Bengkayang Middle School, West Kalimantan, with a total of 80 students as respondents. From the results of the questionnaire analysis, it shows that students' understanding of digital literacy is low with the percentage of students' answers being 80.00%. This has implications for student activities while playing gadgets, where from the results of the questionnaire it was found that 80.00% of student activities while playing gadgets only access entertainment content in the form of games, YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok while only 5% of students who use devices to study. A further impact of the lack of students' understanding of digital literacy is on the development of students' soft skills on the occasion of observation and interviews. It was found that the activities that students often do during recess at school are only playing with gadgets without socializing with friends, besides that students' sense of responsibility by helping Parents at home are becoming less and less because students are more busy playing with their gadgets.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran luas tentang faktor yang menghambat kemampuan siswa dalam menerapkan literasi membaca. Literasi adalah kemampuan untuk membaca dan menulis serta berbicara, menyimak, memahami, dan berpikir kritis.Membaca adalah jendela dunia kita dapat memperoleh banyak pengetahuan dan wawasan dengan membaca.Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, keterampilan membaca adalah hal yang sangat penting untuk dibangun sejak dini. Namun demikian, minat baca, terutama di kalangan siswa Sekolah Dasar, masih rendah di Indonesia. Ini menjadi perhatian dan tantangan yang akan berdampak pada hasil belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa. Ada sejumlah alasan untuk hal ini, seperti kurangnya dukungan dari keluarga dan teman, lebih banyak fokus pada bermain game online atau perangkat elektronik, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, minat dan motivasi pribadi yang kuat, dan dukungan dari sekolah sendiri.Pemerintah Indonesia telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswanya. Salah satunya adalah penerapan budaya literasi, atau Gerakan Literasi Sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi kelas yang melibatkan lima siswa dan satu guru. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar setelah penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan. Siswa melaporkan menjadi lebih aktif, lebih baik dalam memahami materi, dan lebih antusias dalam mempelajari bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, keterampilan bahasa mereka, terutama dalam pemahaman bacaan, menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, seperti kurangnya antusiasme di antara siswa tertentu dan terbatasnya partisipasi aktif selama pelajaran. Meskipun demikian, bimbingan guru yang konsisten dan persiapan materi pembelajaran yang matang memainkan peran penting dalam penerapan model yang efektif. Sebagai kesimpulan, model pembelajaran penemuan telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan kemahiran berbahasa dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the P5 Program on the global diversity dimension in instilling local cultural values in class V of SDS Amkur Bengkayang. The study used a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subjects of the study were class V students and homeroom teachers. The results of the study indicate that the P5 program has helped students understand and implement local cultural values such as the 5S culture (Smile, Greet, Greet, Polite, and Courteous) and mutual cooperation. However, several challenges are still faced, such as the low spirit of mutual cooperation and the use of impolite language. Through the implementation of P5, local culture can be instilled more effectively, although innovation in learning strategies is needed to increase student participation.

Abstract

This article discusses the Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in shaping student character in the Creative dimension in grade V of SD Negeri 01 Bengkayang. The problems raised focus on P5 activities in fostering character values ​​such as responsibility, politeness and creativity. The method used in the study was a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of P5 in schools can improve student character in the creative dimension, as seen from student participation in projects, the ability to find new ideas in making projects. In addition, character values ​​in responsibility, politeness, cooperation and creativity also developed through the implementation of P5 in learning. In conclusion, P5 can be an effective strategy in instilling character values ​​from an early age, especially in the creative dimension through fun and meaningful activities.
