Abstract

Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus aims to encourage students to master various fields of science with their fields of expertise, MBKM can provide opportunities for students to gain new learning experiences at other universities in accordance with their study programs so that the graduates produced can meet market demands work both at national and international levels so that the learning process in higher education becomes more autonomous and flexible. The Faculty of Transportation and Logistics Engineering at ITL Trisakti has a credit transfer and cultural exchange program with UniKL MIDI in Malaysia, this program is one of the implementations of the MBKM pre-program at the ITL Trisakti campus, this program was attended by 62 participants from the Environmental Infrastructure Engineering study program ( RIL). As many as 80.7% are interested in participating in the internationalization program in the future, from these data it can be concluded that internationalization activities can increase social networking and knowledge for participants. This research serves to see the extent to which the implementation of MBKM in this case Credit Transfer and Cultural Exchange has been implemented, and to identify any shortcomings that arise from these activities, so that in the future it can become input for the ranks of ITL Trisakti and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. in the implementation of the MBKM program. The author uses quantitative descriptive research methods in assessing the level of participant satisfaction.

Abstract

Level crossings in Indonesia, particularly unguarded ones, experience frequent accidents, necessitating innovative safety solutions. This study aims to develop a servo-driven barricade system using an Arduino Uno microcontroller and infrared sensors to enhance safety at level crossings by preventing vehicle crossings during train passages. The research was conducted through a structured process involving both online coordination via communication platforms and offline activities at the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Institute of Transportation and Logistics Trisakti, and a vendor in Ciputat from April to August 2024. The methodology encompassed problem identification, conceptualization, system design with a 1:50 scale miniature, prototyping of a 1:10 scale iron barricade, testing in controlled environments, and evaluation of sensor and servo motor performance. Findings indicate that the system consistently detected train arrivals with 100% sensor accuracy and actuated barricades within 2 seconds, effectively blocking traffic in simulations and miniature tests. This research concludes that the servo-driven barricade system offers significant potential to improve safety at level crossings, with recommendations for field trials to assess environmental resilience and integration with Internet of Things technology for real-time monitoring to enhance scalability and effectiveness.

Abstract

The security and safety of the public and the drivers of users of railway crossings and also the security of train travel, it is necessary to hold socialization to the community. Socialization is carried out to displace people who often violate regulations, which can put the safety and security of train trips and also motorists at risk. People who pass by must obey the regulations that have been made. Because if you violate it, in addition to being subject to sanctions, it can also endanger motorists or road users who pass by and also endanger train travel and passengers who use the train service. Most of the people around the Bekasi Station crossing are still not disciplined, both in personal safety on the crossing route and discipline in implementing health protocols. Evidenced by data that shows that the number of violations is relatively high. Preventive and persuasive measures are carried out so that the public is easier to receive the information submitted, but if the level of discipline of the community and road user motorists at the railway crossing is still low, it is necessary to take strict action taken by the relevant agencies in order to maintain public security and safety and smooth travel of the train. It is hoped that from the socialization that has been carried out, the community can be more aware of the importance of obeying the applicable regulations in the direction and also the regulations around the crossing of a plot. In order to maintain safety in driving and the safety of train travel.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the impact of differences in passenger volume between weekdays and weekends on the operational patterns of the Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT). The research aims to understand how fluctuations in passenger numbers influence service scheduling and resource allocation for urban mass transportation efficiency. Research Methodology: A quantitative approach was employed using descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical testing to evaluate passenger volume data. The analysis focused on the period from November 2024 to April 2025. The Mann-Whitney U test was applied to compare weekday and weekend passenger volumes, which were found to fluctuate significantly—exceeding 50% differences between the two periods. Results: Statistical calculations revealed that the Mann-Whitney U test value was 0.000 (assumed 0.0001) with a Z-score of -11.221, and the significance value (Asymp. Sig 2-tailed) was also 0.000 (<0.05). These results indicate that the difference in passenger volume between weekdays and weekends is statistically significant. Conclusions: The findings highlight that the LRT Jabodebek operation pattern must differentiate between weekday, weekend, and special event (e.g., New Year’s Eve, national football matches) schedules to align with fluctuating passenger volumes. Limitations: The research was limited to six months of passenger data, which may not capture annual seasonal variations or special public holidays. Contribution: This study contributes to the understanding of how passenger volume fluctuations influence operational patterns in urban mass transport systems. It offers practical recommendations for operators to design adaptive and cost-efficient service schedules that enhance service quality and passenger satisfaction.
