Abstract

Employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, of course, must have good competence in order to improve organizational performance. The study examines the effect of organizational climate and organizational commitment on job satisfaction, where the study aims to determine how much influence the organizational climate and organizational commitment have on employee job satisfaction at PT PLN Palopo City. This research uses a quantitative approach research method which is specifically causal associative in nature involving 41 PLN employees in Palopo City. The results obtained from this study that organizational climate and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT PLN Palopo City. The implications that employees get in making a decision so that employees feel cared for and can create emotional employee attachment to the company, and can also increase employee job satisfaction, because employees think they have a contribution to the company and will increase the organizational commitment of PT PLN Palopo City employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Social Services Office of Palopo City. The research problem addressed is how organizational culture and work discipline influence employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of all 32 employees of the Social Services Office of Palopo City, with the entire population taken as the sample (saturated sampling). Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques comprised descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R). The results indicate that organizational culture and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.011 0.05, and work discipline also has a significant effect, with a significance value of 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously, the significance value of 0.000 0.05 shows that both independent variables together affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R) of 0.785 indicates that 78.5% of the variation in employee performance is influenced by organizational culture and work discipline, while the remaining 21.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze liquidity and profitability ratios in measuring the financial performance of PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk for the period 2020–2024. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial statements accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The analytical method used is financial ratio analysis, including Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, and Cash Ratio for liquidity, as well as Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, and Return on Equity for profitability. The results show that the financial performance of PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk during the study period tended to fluctuate and was below the industry standard for both liquidity and profitability ratios. This indicates inefficiencies in asset utilization and the company's ability to meet short-term obligations. These findings are expected to provide input for the company's management in formulating strategies to improve financial performance.
