Abstract

Road infrastructure is very important for the economic progress of Tanjung Aur Seberang village residents. Economic development in Tanjung Aur Village, Tebo Regency has significantly increased traffic levels. If this is not balanced by improving the quality of transportation facilities and infrastructure, then this could cause serious problems. Determining the value of the degree of density of the foundation layer aggregate (soil) class S  in obtaining soil stability with safe conditions in accordance with the requirements of density standards is the aim of this research. The methods used are direct tests in the field and in the laboratory. Testing soil density in the field using a sand cone tool follows the provision stated in  SNI 03-2828-1992, while testing soil density in the laboratory follows the provisions stated in SNI 1742-2008. Soil density testing intervals vary between 50 meters, 75 meters, 100 meters, 150 meters, 200 meters depending on location conditions. The results sand cone testing was carried out on roads from STA 2+000 to 3+800. In the first test with 9 test points, the field density was obtained below 95%, namely STA 2+100 (94,141%), STA 2 +550 (94,389%) and STA 3 +800 (94,289). Theses results indicate that the required standard degree of field density has not been achieved, so that the base layer of class S aggregate  can be added and compaction can be carried out again. And from STA 0 + 005 to 4 + 200 in the second test with 26 test points. Test results using a sand cone tool show that the average water content value is 7.513% with a density reaching 98.846%. and these results were in accordance with applicable standard requirements.

Abstract

The existence of sirtu in the open air is the main choice, it is easy to find, but sometimes it is not known what the ideal percentage is needed to add sirtu as an additional mixture in making concrete according to the desired concrete quality. This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental method to determine the comparison of the compressive strength of concrete with the addition sand and stone in the concrete mixture against normal concrete. A sample of 27 test specimens with concrete age tolerance testing carried out at the ages of 7, 14 and 28 days. The comparison of optimum concrete compressive strength will be seen on the 28th day using a compressive strength test tool in the form of a hammer test and compression testing machine. The test results using the hammert test tool on normal concrete samples were 251.23 kg/cm2, the addition of 25% sirtu obtained 225.50 kg/cm2 and the addition of 50% sirtu obtained a compressive strength test of 221.86 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, testing with a compression testing machine on normal concrete samples obtained 278.04 kg/cm2, adding 25% sirtu obtained 273.51 kg/cm2 and adding 50% sirtu obtained a compressive strength test of 242.44 kg/cm2. Overall, the concrete compressive strength test tool for the variables used showed a decrease in the results of the normal concrete compressive strength test along with the addition of the percentage of sirtu, but still in accordance with the quality standards of the concrete produced above 20 MPa which was measured on days 7, 14, and 28. Overall, the concrete compressive strength test tool for the variables used shows a decrease in the results of the normal concrete compressive strength test along with the addition of the percentage of sirtu, meaning that the higher the percentage of sirtu used, the lower the compressive strength of the concrete produced along with the increasing age of the concrete, but still in accordance with the quality standards of the concrete produced above 20 MPa which is measured on the 7th (seventh), 14th (fourteenth), and 28th (twenty-eighth) days.

Abstract

Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMKK) di sektor konstruksi bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman, namun kepatuhan pekerja, seperti penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi persepsi pekerja konstruksi terhadap pelaksanaan SMKK. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan skala Likert, melibatkan 100 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi produk moment, uji reliabilitas, dan uji signifikansi koefisien korelasi (uji t) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 78% responden memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan SMKK. Nilai korelasi sebesar 0,263 mengindikasikan hubungan lemah antara persepsi pekerja dan pelaksanaan SMKK. Instrumen penelitian memiliki reliabilitas cukup tinggi dengan nilai 0,71. Uji t menunjukkan t-hitung 2,69 > t-tabel 1,98, sehingga terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara kedua variabel. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan sosialisasi bahaya kerja dan pemberian penghargaan bagi pekerja yang patuh dapat meningkatkan kesadaran serta kepatuhan terhadap SMKK.

Abstract

Mining activities are one of the industrial sectors that are capital and technology intensive. This sector provides substantial economic benefits and also has significant environmental, economic and social impacts. This study aims to analyze community perspectives and the impacts felt by the community due to mining activities. The methodology of this research uses a quantitative research type with a sample size of 99 respondents. Perceptions are given in the form of a Likert scale to measure the level of validity, reliability and t-test (influence). The results of the study show that mining activities have brought significant positive changes to people's lives, especially increased income, changes in types of work, opening up employment opportunities and improving the quality of education, besides that it also has significant negative impacts, namely air pollution, noise, land damage, environmental pollution. Due to the magnitude of the negative impacts, preventive measures and environmental management must be carried out as early as possible to prevent widespread land damage.
